thanks for the video, not much content on this game so keep it coming. would love a video on what your crew found to be the fastest way to level up, also archery vs melee type content
No problem glad you liked it. Sure I can work on all of these. There is so much to make content on the game is surprisingly full of content for an early access title
If you build a well and put a worker at it, it will slowly irrigate all the fields within range, as the worker gets better, it will irrigate faster. (Check by watching the water-level on each plot) You can also upgrade the shed at a farm to claim the farmland, which will add small boxes to each field and then you can put workers on each field.
i noticed that myself, wish the NPC's would also gather seeds as well from the harvest. so far the only way I have seen is I have to pick the harvest myself to get seeds.
Hey man keep up the great videos I have made my guild basically watch all your videos just to get them up to speed :) I have one question thought: What is your preferred weapon to clear out the "leftover" plants after harvesting to get the %fertilizer back? so far I have not leveled any weapon up to deal a 100 dmg ( i m dealing over 90 now with the bronze polearms but still 2 hits to clear is a lot) and yeah it only restores the fertilizer if you "kill" the plants rather than destroy - which is tbf more cool but also can be tedious
I was using an Iron Warhammer to destroy them in a single hit. However when you have hundreds of plants up that can be massively tredious and most will disappear before you get to them haha
@@SovereignRPG thx - i have since then realised that anything that you can hit for a 100 clears it so i have been using one handed weps that are cheap to craft (we have a ton of copper so that is easy and fast)
@@lada324 yeah I hadn’t employed an npc when I asked this but afterwards it all became clear. Thank you for replying though it may be helpful for others.!
Help, help, I accidentally demolished a quarry on guild land. And it is no longer possible to build, the icon is missing. It is the same in other places.
Great Guid but I give up on farming... Too much work for not much return... I'll have my subordinates do it when I get around 5+ of them! Also I don't think they die because I left it for around 14hours and it was still there!
Have you had any farmers disappearing or stopping working for no reason? I made sure my farmers have plenty of food and supplies, but for some reason they stop working, and stand in the middle of the field. The only way I've found to fix the problem is to execute them and resurrect them. Any help would be hot.
I'm on a custom server where a lot of people ask tips about farming hardwood or copper. Any advice? Can you cultivate your own lands for farming or only use point of interests?
There are planters. The first being the crude planter. But the actual farmland is only PoI. Hardwood comes from T2 trees. They are different in each biome. Forest is palm trees for example. Mountains has tall tree with lower branches dead. Copper can be found in PoI called Mines or in any elavated areas (hills/mountains) can be pretty much found everywhere in the mountain regions.
@@stephenkershaw4966 there should be a rack in the farming plot. It looks like a bunch of sticks in the firm of a ramp/ shelter. Go click on that and you can build the farming shack there, with iron sticks and rubble I believe.
This frustrated me for the longest. You don't place it. It's a pre placed building on the field already that you just have to bring the materials to build up
Well this was so disappointing. I saw in a developer release video, on steam I believe, that you could construct a whole base with farming & all, so I was excited, and since I've learned that the only real farming you'll be doing in your own base is with the little planter things, planting in soil like this is only in some specific areas in already built farms. It's so disappointing and straight up feels like false advertisement in the video lol.

Good stuff man. Thanks for these how-to's!
Any time! Just hope I can help.
i keep finding myself coming back to your channel, so for sure im going to subscribe keep up the good work m8

How do you use the npc with the well? There is no way of latching one of your warriors to it? Do you just need to stand one of your npc's beside it?
hi! how can ı use occupied farmland?
really enjoy your channel have found it a great help with game many thanks
Glad to hear it!
Thank you for the great video. I love the format you use to set up your videos!
How do you clear out the vagrants, wont they respawn?
Awesome video man. Appriciate it. Please keep doing these 👍👍👍😇😇😇
I am enjoying the game a lot and making the videos for it. Will be sticking too it for a good while
Can someone explain to me how to assign the warrior to the field?
What if the field is occupied by enemies?
it seems that your npcs that you assign to a farm don't gather seeds from there harvests so they eat all your seeds if you don't pick it

Where or how do you make rotten food for the organic fertilizer?
So clear to understand that I have no questions except one. What are the F keys above your tool belt?
You might know that already.. but it's when you control a Warrior you can give them commands with your F keys :)

Very good explanation. I'm a planting machine now...well someone is lol
I wish they would change the sound effect of plowing to something that sounds like plowing... as opposed to the sound of smashing rocks.

There is farmland in the rainforest and there fields are flooded with water so you can plant rice in them
You can plant rice anywhere. The paddy fields in the forest are mental though
If you put a well down and an npc to work it does it irrigate the planters or only the field? Or can you only put water in the planter with a barrel?
Have you figured out how to use a well at the farm to have it auto water instead of using the barrels?
Plop the well down and stick an NPC warrior on it. Itll fill up the area. Its quite large.
What is the compost used used for??
Hey bud, qq how do u get better quality seeds?

Strong job :) Very good info. Also any other way besides working planter that we can gain farming xp?
yo, if you want i did a calculator with excel. Just put the stat of the field, choose the seed on a list and you see how many you can put.
great vid but why did them NPC's not attack you i am at a farm but npcs attack me
Do you know by any chance which plant you can get peas from, or where to farm for pea seeds? haven't found any yet
In the plains it's a small plant with a purple flower. Turn foliage down in graphics to find them easily
hi! how can ı use occupied farmland?
Bro thanks so much talk about how to get more npcs pls and how they work thank u ✌️
No problem 👍 will be coming out soon.
Can you do an ultimate merchant run video?

So the field I try and hit the porosity is 0% and when i hit with hoe i cannot get it above 1% because it just drops back down. any help for this?
hello can your put a npc on the fields so that it works for us?
With the level 38 basic hut you can :)

how do you put npc's on the farms?? ours don't have the option to do
Need the basic farm building at level 38
wher do you build the simple farm shed from cant seem to find it i have learnt it and am lvl 50 but cant find it in anything

i dont know what im doing wrong, the soil porosity keeps going down super fast, anyone know how to fix it?
By leveling your 2h weapon skill you can gain more porosity per swing
These are susceptible to being taken by any players though aren’t they? Or am I mistaken
Yea they are. You can wall in the area though :)

ok but what about grinding it into flour
Can we only farm at these farm locations?
You can use "Planters" but they don't allow for farming on a serious level. Only actual Farmland are at these locations.
the barrel is not gathering water
Guys do u know where i can find steel or ore for steel?
Its Iron Bars and Brimstone (which can be found in the black area of the map)
i unlocked the simple shed and i cant find where to make it...

So in the video you did everything. the NPC farmer just stood there. Do they do the work if you aren't there?
He was just standing there because of testing earlier and I didnt move him. You require a level 38 building to use NPCs on farms.
@@SovereignRPG what building ?
ah nevermind i found it ty
@@euscaris5322 No problem.
This is gotta be the most tedious farming process of any MMO survival game I played
Its been the same for most of the games of this type I have played tbh. LiF was worse haha
200 meters away is justification enough to build a water well
This was early game before a well was unlocked.
