Great review brother. Ill have to give this one another shot. I had it very early on in my na experience and wasnt very impressed. But my taste has changed greatly since then as well. And dos equis dark was one of my favs when i was drinking full leaded 30 years ago
I hope you have a much improved experience. I really enjoy this beer. I think it's a great substitute for the Victoria, Dos Equis Amber, and Shiners of the world. Thanks for tuning in as always, Jim. Have a great weekend!
Thank you, Sir. I actually think it’s the best of their core brands. I know a lot of people would argue Free Wave or Run Wild, and I wouldn’t begrudge them that, but I think this one is as close to a 1 for 1 analog with its Fully Leaded counterparts as they make.
@@thebrewingsailor9172 We got into a chat because I have been a home brewer since 1974 and like to know more about beer. Connection when he said Montpelier because my Mrs. and I went to Norwich, the military college in Vermont.
I’m familiar with Norwich. I grew up in Providence, RI. A high school classmate of mine went to Norwich. I’m brewing my second batch of NA beer on 7/2. We’re gonna cut a video together for it. Should be up on the channel by the end of July.
@@thebrewingsailor9172 I am from West Springfield, the Home of the Big E. My Mrs. is from Wilbraham. Lots of family still in New England. :-) I started brewing with Blue Ribbon malt syrup from the A&P.

Another great review…definitely gonna go out, locate it, and try……soooooo 😆
If you like Shiner or Dos Equis Amber, I think you’ll dig it.
Cerveza Athletica is a regular in my fridge too.. Would love to see a review on Athletic Free Wave
My next two weeks are already booked out with beers, but I tell you what. I'll do Free Wave for my Independence Day Review. Tuesday, July 4th!
Yeah this one is solid. Good review.

I met one of their field reps at my local booze shop here in southern Maryland.
Very nice young man, originally from Montpelier, VT.
Nice. They have a couple of reps in the NABAS Facebook group.

Yeah. You’re an OG Homebrewer. It wasn’t even technically legal when you started! Not just an OG, but an Outlaw Homebrewer!
