Though it does in fact have quite a bunch of upgrades such as the exterior body design, digital dashboard, and small tweak to some other things, Thats about it. the 360 cam is not present, it is underpowered and is FWD which is the most disappointing part for me since from just looking at it, you would think you would be able to off-road this thing no problem. But, if you take a look at it's performance, it is very sad that FWD was chosen as the Drivetrain as 4WD or even just RWD could've been a much better option. Although yes, people are in-fact complaining about the Xpander Cross NOT being a CVT, I think Mitsubishi made a right choice in making it a 4 speed auto instead. Despite CVTs being more fuel efficient, a traditional automatic transmission is more reliable and lasts longer (depends on how you look at it); although it would have been nice if there was a CVT model for those complaining. The Rush is a valid choice in this segment and arguably still surpasses the new Xpander Cross in value.
On papers it's the veloz On full comparison it's a different story. It's on the ride and refinement where the Mitsubishi edges the Toyota most of the time
I'm not saying veloz has a bad ride my main point here is that the advantage of xp cross couldn't be seen on papers because it is the ride and overall refinement that's why veloz wins this type of comparison
@@kobegarzon2577 The that depends more on the subjective judgement of the drivers then? I have both an Xpander and Veloz and I'd say ride wise Veloz wins, my xpander is way bouncier which is something I hate when driving. Though Xpander has the better ground clearance it's not as if I'm going to mountains every day so for every day riding I prefer Veloz.
@@djtron99 Comfort and space are roughly the same but Veloz wins a bit due to the long sofa mode which the kids and wife love when you're just having a stroll around the city, the third row of both are okay if your height is average like 5-5'6" maybe but you'll find it uncomfortable if you're a tall person because your knee will certainly hit the second row seat unless they move a bit forward. The ADAS, in my opinion, is a big help specially in light traffic with all those motorcycle that's lane splitting it'll alert you when you're signaling and it finds that some motorcycles is beside you, I gotta say I'm depending on it more and more. Lane departure also works but I rarely use them as I'm not fond of having my steering suddenly veering left and right when you forgot to signal before transferring lane. As for rear traffic alert those are also very helpful there have been many times in parking lots where I couldn't see the car yet even on my side mirror as my view on the side is blocked by a truck yet the sensor just alarms me that something is coming although it can be quite annoying when you're parking on very tight spots because the alarms are just so sensitive. The emergency braking saved me once in a heavy traffic when a motorcycle suddenly crossed my front trying to weave around the traffic just as I was accelerating a bit and it applied the brakes probably at 100% cause it was a very hard braking but still it did its job which I'm thankful for as it saved me money for paint job if I haven't had that feature. The 360 cam is probably the biggest help of all and one of the bigger reason why I like the Veloz as it allows to you to maneuver very tightly without any assistance at all specially on my garage which is a bit tight. The emergency braking saved me once in heavy traffic when a motorcycle suddenly crossed my front trying to weave around the traffic and I guess it applied at 100% cause it was quite a hard braking but still I'm thankful for it.

@@KuchingKingVideoGamer I would have to agree with you. HAS (Hill-start Assist System) was in-fact mentioned in the video and is on the official website of Mitsubishi. Although I would say that the Xpander Cross' Safety system is somewhat underwhelming. Although I do understand your points there
@@KuchingKingVideoGamer I'm sorry to disappoint you but Xpander Cross only scores 4 stars on NCAP ratings while the Veloz even in the 2 bag variant scored 5 stars so safety wise you'd still have better survivability on Veloz than Xpander, aside from that the NCAP test for Stargazer was the 2 bag variant which also scored just 4 stars. Why NCAP test results matter? Because their test are standardized meaning you can gauge the car's safety based on the parameters on their test, you may say not every accident would look like the same as the one in the test but would you rather have a proven and tested higher rated car or a lower rated car when you get into a crash? Remember a big crash only happens once and you wouldn't want to be in a situation where you'll be asking if having that air bag in the back would've save your child, wife, mother, father, brother, or sister lives. Ayoko sa xpander kase naguguluhan ako sa design ang daming ganap, veloz talaga dapat kaso nung nag walk around ako with toyota agent, nag back out ako kase mukha palang karo, for me lang yun ah and white pa gusto kong color. Ayun toyota rush grs nalang. 6 airbags din naman and hindi na cya matagtag like the previous variant.
@@Mika-vi1te The Rush has always been Toyota's answer to the MPV-trying-to-be-an-SUV sub segment. Unlike it's competitors, the Rush is actually a better fit for the job of going uphill because it's RWD, all while retaining the traits of the MPV segment with it's size and seating capacity. The Rush is a valid choice in this segment and arguably still surpasses the new Xpander Cross in value.
Toyota velos not proportionlower like pandak like new avanza Xpander proportion wid high and lendth good .
Toyota vs Mitsubishi. dun palang alam mo na kung alin mas reliable especially for long term use.
yep, ofc Mitsubishi

Daihatsu ang makina ng velos
Team veloz
On papers it's the veloz
On full comparison it's a different story. It's on the ride and refinement where the Mitsubishi edges the Toyota most of the time
Lol! smooth ang rides ng veloz
@@lunaFreya141 okay that's great you have two mpvs? Just my opinion it's kinda weird to have 2 mpvs since they do the same
@@djtron99 Comfort and space are roughly the same but Veloz wins a bit due to the long sofa mode which the kids and wife love when you're just having a stroll around the city, the third row of both are okay if your height is average like 5-5'6" maybe but you'll find it uncomfortable if you're a tall person because your knee will certainly hit the second row seat unless they move a bit forward.
Veloz v yung sa akin, sulit din
I can live without the airbags. As long as may seatbelts, ok na yun. hindi namn lahat ng aksidente gumagana ang airbags. need pa din tamaan ang sensor ng airbags para mag deploy.pqno kung may aksidente nga, hindi namn na-trigger ang sensor, wala din.

Nilampaso ng veloz ang xpander
Ang kuripot ng Mitsubishi sa safety features. Basic safety features kulang, wala pa Hill start assist.
May hill start assist ang Xpander Cross..Having lots of airbags and ADAS doesn't automatically make a car safe..Just look at what happened with Kia Carens and Hyundai Stargazer
Wag hintayin na nasa huli ang pagsisisi MPV is a family car focus on your family's safety.
