The only reason I see that the Senate wants to still put the ex-CJ into their trial is for political mileage for the midterm senatorial election. The Highest Court in the land already decided let them stand by with their decision. For as the legislators always imply and as per our Constitution that they too is a co-equal branch of our government.

The decision of the 8 justices are made contrary to the provision of the Constitution, on the interpretation as phrase "can be removed through impeachment" as other says "may be removed through ", the last phrase you cannot read in the provision under Article VIII.

Someone should remind senator pimentel that he is not supreme in his interpretation of our laws since the sc, of which he is not a part, is the final arbiter of our Constitution and its interpretation...and only the sc's interpretation matters (as it forms part of the laws of the land) most especially on whether sereno has attained the level of an impeachable official to warrant impeachment as a remedy for removal. If the sc says a quo warranto is proper then we should abide by it.

The law must be interpreted and not just administered. In this case the SC interpreted the law by deciding to oust CJ due to the invalid appointment.
Naku Koko Pimentel hindi nga pwedeng iimpeach si Sereno dahil she's a "ghost" SC chief justice. Her appointment as a CJ was null and void in the beginning dahil hindi nya nameet ang lahat ng rquirements (incomplete SALNs) for her to be legally declared as CJ so kung hindi sya legally recognized as SC impeachment is not the right way to remove her.. Ang nararapat lg na gamitin ay ang quo warranto proceedings para sya mapaalis. Para bang inappoint ka na chief pharmacist sa isang drugstore or hospital then later nalaman na hindi ka pala board passer. Gusto mo lg magpaepal. Tapos Supreme Court na ang nagdecide nyan...Mas mataas pa ba ang Senate kaysa sa Supreme Court? I'm not a lawyer pero yan ang pagkakaintindi ko.

So anong problema dun , its not legal strategy its called implementation of the LAW nasa batas naman ang QUO WARRANTO eh di pwede syang i implement and napatunayang may problema kay sERENO so implement yung LAW . Why call her law expert? Kung minsan naman political analyst ang label sa mga hinihingan ng opinion kahit hindi naman sila political analyst. Madalas fruit of of ignorance ang nilalaman ng mga comento nila. Katawa-tawa most of the time sa dami ng loopholes sa mga viewpoints nila. Yung iba ne-expose lalo ang lack of knowledge. Sabihin na lamang sana kung sino sila, what position a person holds for example sa isang organisasyon, grupo, companya, o ahensiya na kinabibilangan nila. Wag ng mag label na kesyo expert or analyst. Ano ba basis o standard to call someone an expert? I think this is one of the many terms that is often misused and improperly used para na lamang pakinggan ng mga tao ang kanilang sinasabi, hindi n bale kung kulang o hindi sapat ang ibinabahaging, supposed to be ay kaalaman.

Pimentel is right that the Senate is the only impeachment court, but what he did not address quo warranto.
the supreme court is the last arbiter of philippines law in what reasons you will say that the supreme decession can be reverse, being supreme you cannot reverse it because it was their final supreme decision and executory the only remedy is to accept the fact and tell the truth.
