As someone who never played the TCG, this take on cards looks quite complex.

It's been quite a while since I've played the Pokémon TCG, but I remember it being sort of complex for something targeted towards children. My friends and I mostly just traded the cards back then. I think with Isle of Swaps there's a learning curve at first, but once you understand how energy works it's not overly complicated. I might have just done a bad job of explaining it. 😅
