Here’s my last gift til next season.
You can all call me crazy.
But the bracket turned out just how I like. Don’t blame Jake for not sniffing out his former favorite dolphins if I’m correct. This is not an easy thing to say but it’s what I believe. It’s still Dolphins over browns (Marino comeback) and Niners over lions. It just makes too much sense to me. Too much gematria, super bowl guarantee, 70 point game, now they’re giving me the 666 with the seeding and 66 on the records. Mostert getting super bowl mvp and his blindside movie made on 50th anniversary of perfect team in rematch of 85 super bowl on LVIII. Tease browns v lions super bowl and leave em both blue. It could be a more boring scenario but this has been my pick since preseason and I’m sticking to it. I’m not letting some poor performances in a fake football league ruin my conviction. Donny football and Donald trump same year. I ran into a dolphins players brother by happenstance at a waterpark. Not a big name. Told me they would win. Thought nothing of it. Til I googled and realized he had been traded 5 months earlier….weird to pick old team and his new team DEFINITELY wouldn’t want to hear him saying that

Now I’m thinking 1957 browns lions rematch is a real possibility with Lions getting theirs finally. I put my money on the dolphins. Don’t love it as much as I want to. But that’s life’s use your best judgement when gaming the betting traps disguised as sporting events. Only things I’ve ever predicted right
04 Red Sox (86 years since and 1986) and 2016 eagles (last year of being a die hard eagles fan, said after week 5 they would win and knew I was right about two hours after wentz injury. Oh and I had Shady McCoy rushing title at over 40-1 but not a gambler. I don’t make predictions often. Not a sports fan. Take it for what you will but I’m telling you I’ve felt like this twice in my life. This could be the first time I’m wrong and time will tell. Tua got his scripted injury right when I predicted to give the excuse for week 18. I just thought they’d get revenge on bills twice for last year and let old man joe take care of the ravens

The Ravens are basically last years Eagles. The NFL is literally hyping them up to make them gag in the playoffs.
The 49ers fumble and Rams recovery at the end of the game in field goal range, down by 1, ensuring the Stafford/Lions storyline has got to be automatic contender for Week 18 top ten rigged plays of the week haha. Since 1990 28.1% of top seeds got knocked out in Divisional round. Before last year it was Aaron Roger’s who knocked out #1 Atlanta in 2010. Between 2010-2021 No top seeds were ousted so there is always a 28.1% chance of top seeds getting ousted. Looks like last year was top seeds so I think this year it’s #2 seeds that go all the way. Rams winning against Bengals both were #4 seeds, Last Year it was #1 seeds. See a pattern? Cowboys won the East So Watch Buffalo win the AFC East as well. All decided by the last game of the season too.

Jake I recommend a number system for next season. 1 is a lock, 2 is highly probable, 5 is a coin flip etc. i always grade my individual picks. Your audience could do that on their own with just the picks you give but this way we can have a record for your guaranteed picks etc instead of just overal which doesn’t do your accuracy justice
I am thinking I will pick a Top 5 but I don't like ranking the picks because then if 1 and 2 lose but then 3, 4 and 5 wins that means my best 2 picks lost and people will gripe even if 3 , 4 and 5 win lol. Plus since it is fake football I never know for sure which is my favorite play.

love the angle, just found this channel (so late!) but yea, i could see a handful of games going differently and not affecting the overall bracket detrimentally. like texans instead of colts, falcons instead of saints. bears beating packers but packers still going to playoffs via cards win.
I agree with you on this script. In fact, the AFC script I called over a month ago when everyone wrote Buffalo off. There are a few things to notice or consider when looking at these playoff scenarios. 1) Is this a Harbaugh fluff all the way? Alabama final play looked like a brokeback bend over for Michigan. Ten year anniversary of the Harbaugh bowl. 2) Notice how both 2 vs 3 seeds if it goes the way we think are rematches of the scripted dramatic ref call games? 3) Regarding the queefs, if this is not a Harbaugh fluff year, the queefs could be HOSTING the AFC championship courtesy of a Flacco beating the Ravens and the refs making a controversial call FOR the queefs at Buffalo. Then all of a sudden, the Taylor Swift big pharma, and sashe boy mahomes and his jackoff brother who just got charges dropped in overland park all become the stars to watch again..... If that scenerio were to happen, I could see a rematch of opening night which had its share of shitty officiating as well. Normally they script about 50/50 on home vs road moneyline first round which makes both south division winners look like losers this year. Just my opinion on this. 5) Here's a ballsy farfetched thought in the NFC. Eveyone knows that the 2 teams that hate each other the most are Philly and San Fran. What if they save that bloodbath for the final round? Jordan Love knocks off Dallas in Dallas and the media is screaming that Mccarthy got outcoached blah blah blah.............AND Stafford does remind Detroit, that they are Detroit 😂 and Now both San Francisco and Philly become the top 2 seeds again, and this time they can toss the 49ers head of security off the field 😂 just my three cents
This will probably be Derek Henry's last game as a Titan. I feel a great divisional game happening in Tennessee. Its like their Superbowl...knock TL and Jags out. We all saw his fake injury. I wouldn't bet on a team with a player i suspect of faking injuries. He's either on the take or weak. Ive seen him play and dont think he weak but you gotta admit there's something wrong with putting all your weight on the same ankle supposedly injured. I sure as hell didnt do that each time i injured my ankle playing sports (same injury too).

I think the NFL is trying to script Trevor Lawrence to go 10-7 or 11-6 next season. The jags have slowing been improving since Lawrence’s tenure, and I think they’ve slowly been building him up but the jags just don’t have a good enough offense line or consistent enough defense to compete. Through the draft I think they come back next season and are serious contenders.

Lawrence has better receivers and he can't do better? That just shows how much better Lamar is than Lawrence. And my man is ready win that MVP again
@@MattGatts Well Lamar is one of the most athletic QBs we’ve ever seen. The man is quite literally the equivalent of a a Tyreek Hill + Michael Vick Hybrid. The Jags Oline has been very shaky, and their pass defense is in the bottom 1/3rd of the league. Lamar has always had at the very least, a mid to upper tier defense and his lightning fast mobility helps him around any collapsing Oline.
I’m having a hard time deciding this falcons saints game but I think I’m going against you Jake, I think there’s something with that 33 degree latitude line this year which Atlanta resides on. Dallas and Houston are pretty much right there on that line as well. Plus mlb playoffs had those teams in too.

Also love that rams lions because yes its stafford going back home, but you forgot Goff can get his revenge against his former team that let him go (rams/Mcvay). Only one that seems totally wacky but i think my falcons pull that game out. We haven't been to the playoffs since 2018. Seems wacky i know, but NO seems like the obvious choice.

If there was ever a year to put an 8-9 team in the playoffs, it's in '24. 89 is the 24th prime. Lol
Also, look for the Raiders to finish 8-9 since they are hosting the superbowl in '24.

For the NFC this is my prediction. 1. SF 2. Dallas 3. Detroit 4. Atl 5. Philly 6. St Louis and 7. GB. This would create the best storyline. Dallas Vs GB is McCarthy challenging his old team. Detroit Vs St Louis is Staffords homecoming and Philly Vs Atl is the battle of the birds. Semifinal is Detroit Vs Dallas rematch and Philly Vs SF rematch. NFC championship is SF vs Dallas which was the old rivalry and has a lot of history. SF goes to the SB.
With those first-rounders, I go SF-GB (Too many suspensions AGAIN this year for Dallas) and PHI-DET, leading to SF-PHI.
Atlanta will not win division. Bucs will likely win division.
@@michaelfalkner1186 Idk we literally just saw SF-PHI in last year's NFC championship game and earlier this year SF got it's revenge on Philly I can't imagine they replay it again in the championship round. Having GB beat Dallas doesn't make sense there are bigger storylines for Dallas against other teams and the Packers will just be happy to make the playoffs with Love. Dallas vs Lions is too good of a matchup to pass on considering all the controversy. I'm tempted to go 49ers vs Lions for the NFC championship game but I think Dallas vs 49ers would be a much bigger game plus it would mean that you got rematches of Philly vs 49ers and Dallas vs 49ers in the playoffs. Who goes to the SB will depend on who they have winning the AFC if it's a team like the Browns or Bills I see Dallas going but if the Ravens or Chiefs win then the 49ers will go.

One thing that I think about the Jags Titans game is that the roles were reversed last year in week 18 when the Jags beat Tennessee to change the landscape of the south. I think Tennessee gets scripted to revenge. And possibly Mike Vrabel last game there if New England trades for him

LMAO!
having played soccer all my life and in those conditions before there is NO WAY IN HELL that ball moves against that type of wind no matter how strong you are and how hard you kick it unless there is something that is pushing it the other way!!! it was so hilarious watching that! its a MUST HAVE in the week 18 TOP Rigged plays!!

The Colts pick doesn't break my heart because I've always been a Colts fan but I don't see them winning. You can go back a month in your comment section in other videos and see that I was predicting this matchup would be a win-and-in game but I've never seen Indy winning this one, and it's not because of Minshew. I think Indy loses because of Anthony Richardson. First off if Indy wins then that sets the expectations a million times higher for a QB that still has a lot of questions marks and if he fails to get in next season everyone will complain about them losing Minshew in free agency, if they don't resign him. Secondly, If they lose then the story going forward will be Indy failing to make the playoffs in the last game of the season 2 out of the last 3 seasons, and with mediocre QBs, so once Richardson gets them in the playoffs he will finally be the savior in Indy. Houston will get #7 and Jacksonville will win the division.
Houston getting 7 and going @ Buffalo and keeping it very close is interesting , and the jags won a playoff game last year and have Tlaw so I think them and the Texans are a better choice than the Steelers to get 7 or colts to get 4 , those matchups r just straight dog ngl
I could be wrong for sure, but it seems all the money is on the Texans. The NFL is a business and the business includes robbing sports bettors who think the games are real. Colts winning makes money for Vegas even though it's not the best ratings matchup to have Browns vs Colts.
