    This video shows you how to de-solder unnecessary connections. If you want to see how to wire it up and install it watch my other video!

    I'm definitely gonna do this in the long run my OCD is sky rocketing after seeing how many unnecessary cables are on the controller

    Sorry this is unrelated but looking through your Google doc sheet. I have a 36v battery/controller with stock motor. Would I benefit if I did the 47 tooth rear sprocket? How much faster would I be if it was beneficial? Thank you for all you do!

    • @Francisco-Danconia
      @Francisco-Danconia  9 дней назад +1

      You will have an increase in top speed at the expense of slower acceleration, so you'll have to decide which is more important. That's just how gearing effects things in any application. Of course, the stronger the motor, the less of a hit your acceleration will take.
      I have added a link to the Doc for electricscooterparts website that has tons of super helpful calculators and such, so go check it out!
      Also let me know what happens!

    i use xt60 or xt90 connectors. i hate the standard crap connectors. still on hold for an XL i hope to get next week.

      Fair enough! I wasn't really aware of those when I ordered my stuff, but they seem really nice!

      @@Francisco-DanconiaI use them too! Also for the motor connector because the stock connectors don't make good connection with the pins

    If I get the 47 tooth sprocket and take off 3 links, how do I reattach the rest of the chain?

    • @Francisco-Danconia
      @Francisco-Danconia  11 дней назад

      @@mackskroll15 just hammer the outside part back on that you take off to remove the links. Or buy a master link from electric scooter parts. I just bought the chain tool and it's totally worth it. It removes the chain so so easily.

    hey i did the fafo 36v 1000w controller but i was wondering if you have to have a 36v battery for the controller to power the motor

    • @Francisco-Danconia
      @Francisco-Danconia  12 дней назад

      @@Viral-Shorts45 a voltage controller only delivers the power, it does not create the power. So yes, you would need 36 volts worth of batteries.
      Think of it in terms of performance Z rated tires for a car. The tires don't create the speed, they simply allow it to happen. They just transfer the power that the car has.
      There would be no point in putting tires rated for 160 mph on a car that only goes 80. At the same time you wouldn't want to put tires rated for 80 mi an hour when you intend to do 160 miles an hour.

    I just bought a used 36v 500w controller craxy cart, what do you suggest I do first not including new wheels?

    • @Francisco-Danconia
      @Francisco-Danconia  13 дней назад

      @@mackskroll15 your controller is 36v as well? First thing is the headset bearing in my opinion. Reducing speed wobble is a huge quality of life improvement. But if you have an XL, I'm not familiar with that headset bearing. It might be a better one on that cart. I would need more insight to give better opinions, but that was my first thought.
