    They still are, too. They've been married for 13 years and they have 2 children.

    Wendy Moniz was the BEST Dinah!

    I think Laura Wright did a very good speech to Wendy Moniz on Guiding Light

    Hart was asking for it. He was stringing them both along for months.

    I understand why Dinah wanted to make Hart pay (in the beginning). He left her for another woman (after telling her that he doesn't have any feelings for Cassie). Dinah should of made Hart pay where it hurts him by taking his money and his farm!
    The writers should have took Dinah in a new direction and gave her a new love interest to help her get over Hart. The thought that Sean McCullough was a good new match. They had chemistry!
    The writers screwed up Dinah by having her shoot Hart!

    I hated how they wrote Dinah in a corner back then in favor of Cassie who was an unnecessary character to begin with

      They sure did didn't they. I didn't like Hart and Dinah together, so I was happy when they broke up, but I wish that they would have put her with somebody else instead of making her go crazy for Hart who I think wasn't worth it. Dinah had chemistry with Vanessa's doctor. I see that TPTB probably saw that if they put her with somebody else and over Hart people wouldn't care about Hart & Cassie(just like when they put Eve with Ed and had her get over Nick, the fans didn't really care about Nick/Mindy as a couple anymore and they were happy for Eve/Ed). LW was the writer's favorite at the time, so I see why they made Dinah go crazy, so people wouldn't like her.

      @msrain1235 3 года назад

      @T L Townes , agreed! I also thought that it went too fast. TPTB didn't do their research where Hart was concerned. Hart ruined Dylan's wedding day. I seriously doubt that Reva would want her sister with Hart! I read that Frank Grillo didn't like the pairing.

      Dinah and hart were having problems long before Cassie ever came to Springfield. They only got together because they both hated Roger But when the scheme of making Roger think he was crazy was revealed that’s when their relationship began to go downhill. Also Diana had been causing mischief to long before Cassie was ever discovered Like when she faked a kidnapping

      @@zt1053 Yeah but there were more layers to her then when Cassie came in they made her full on fatal attraction crazy and wrote her into a corner

    @Robansuefarm Well i think Dinah is the guilty one in all of this. Of course it was stupid of Hart to be iwth Dinah for so long even tohugh he didn't love her, just because he felt sorry for her, but Dinah is still the real bad person in my opinion!

    I feel like this confrontation wasn't necessary. Cassie had already won. Dinah, in her desperate attempt to keep Hart, had already spilled most of her dark secrets to him and he still dumped her. He didn't know about the falsified paternity of Dinah's dead baby, but Hart had dumped Dinah anyways when he found out Cassie was pregnant. I feel like Cassie wasn't looking for justice, but just an opportunity to rub her victory in Dinah's face.

  • @Heida77

    @Robansuefarm Yeah I saw eveything after she came back and I've always thought she was the one who ruined their relationship, not Cassie. Their relationship was already distroyed when Cassie came, and Dspecially DInah's behaviour. Why do you think Hart fell for Cassie so shortly after she arrived?

    • @zt1053
      @zt1053 Год назад +1

      It was doomed from the start because I think they only hooked up because of their mutual hatred for Roger. When their hoax of making Roger think he was crazy was revealed that's when things began to unravel. Hart reconciling with Roger somewhat before Roger left Springfield was one of the many cracks in their relationship.

    The whole Dinah shooting Hart was so plot-driven!
    The head writers (James Harmon Brown and Barbara Esensten) were so plot-driven writers, they took a page out of James E. Reilly's book.
    GL could have Dinah leave Springfield to start a new life (not go on the run), and Hart could have died in an accident or caught in a different crossfire.
    Behind the Scenes:
    Frank Grillo (Hart) and Wendy Moniz (Dinah) were together off-screen and decided to leave GL together.

    Looking back wendy moniz ( dinah) was as selfish , insecure as her mother , hart & dinah were ick in my eyes because she was his step mom ...she married roger ( blakes father ) to spite her parents and blake .....frank grillo & wendy moniz recently divorced but were also " doomed " because they were married to other people when they met .......dinah never did do jail time for shooting hart because her too sweet father wouldnt let them press charges .

    @Rosannasfriend Well I never relly liked Hart and Dinah together. But I only started watching GL when there was about a year before Cassie and Hart met. Did i miss anything ? But from what I've heard Dinah is just a sick person who didn't deserve Hart.

    Well, I never bought that he cared anything for Cassie. She worked him & he bought it being kind of stupid & like his father utterly incapable of fidelity. I know there are a lot of people who thought they were great, but I never could stand her with anybody but Edmund. I know others disagree and some people even think Cassie & Hart are the best GL couple ever, but I never understood the attraction. It must be another case of my not seeing something other people are. :-)

      Hart and Dinah paired up to make Roger go insane by making him think he had shot his own son. Their relationship was built on lies and deception from the start which means it wasn't gonna last because other than their hatred for Roger and a need to get revenge they really had nothing in common.
