Sounds big for 200 cc. This and KDX 200 were under appropriated. Rode near a KDX years back, the worse the trail got, the faster that thing went. The wr450 is good too.
When you disconnect the power valve motor and turn the power valve to full open you summon the devil, it lifts the front wheel in sixth gear but it loses its bottom end power soooo worth it though. I found this out when my power valve motor malfunctioned. So technically I didn't disconnect the power valve motor I hope you know what I mean........great vid 👍
You are correct..all the wr 200s sent to USA had the power valves installed upside down from the factory.flip it over and it turns it into a completely different animal
Damn does your Wr ever rip! There a great bike, rare as hens teeth in Canada because we never had them here but I bought a 200r recently and I almost have it back together again, I can't wait!
I have a DT200R too! They are also great bikes, just more road-use friendly. In europe the 200cc's are rare generally, the DT125R is a common bike here.
Thank god there is the 125r or I would never be able to find parts for a 200r 2YY, the 3 wire servo is hard to find for the 200r but the 125r is the same and the 1988 looms are the same I think
I have a pro circuit on my 200r and it rips. I've been daily driving it in the city since 2015 and its a blast. Sometimes I get to take it on the trails but not as often as I'd like.

How I had one and raced it in GNCC a lot. I must say the thing to really watch and master is the power valve on these things. It’s electric and must not get gummed up. Also watch the rear shock if it wears out it is very pricy to repair or replace. Remember the suspension is very soft on these bikes on purpose. It is for the woods not huge motocross jumps! Have fun it is a screaming bike and can usually get in 125/250 four stroke class. It’s like cheating. lol

No mods were needed, just find ones made for wr200. After some time i noticed minor warp and had to turn them around. They didnt make a huge difference but it revs better and im happy with them. Enjoy
@@deborahchesser7375 Hi Sorry for the late response! I have just seen your message! Thanks for the advice!!! Nevertheless I´ve not been able to use my Wr 200 because of the pandemic and the lack of the CDI...
Look at that mushy suspension lol. I owned that bike new and had it for a couple years. Fun bike to ride in the woods and stuff but my god the suspension sucked! Even a little jump and it would bottom out and try to throw you off.
thats why I installed YZ springs on the front, it was super soft originally, yes. This year after the shock rebuild I also set up the rear SAG properly so its fine for me, definiately way better and stiffer than the DT125/200R suspension.
