For us, Laura is just the best travel vlogger on RUclips. She shows things you want to see and how you want to see them. We watched a lot of her videos 2 years ago, then got lost in the sea of hundreds of vloggers. Now we are back to a true professional. Her natural, creative style of presenting travel makes us want to go to that place. And if we've been there already we enjoy seeing it again through her lens.
Loved my Casita when I lived in Mexico...The country is absolutely beautiful and different in every region...Blessings and Positive Energy from Portugal...🇵🇹✌
Lovely. I love that it’s got both mountains and beach. That’s the ideal situation.
Por eso y muchas cosas más ! Tengo mi casita en Colima 🇲🇽 Mexico... amamos ir cada vacaciones...
Such a beautiful stunning home.. this is exactly what I want, a casita in Mexico. Goals!!!
Well do it girl
I love the idea of the 15-minute walk when I think of how much of my life is gone sitting in my car, driving in ever worsening congestion to work with a bunch of A-Holes who walk around trying to convince themselves they're happy. My hat's off to you for making a change.
It's a nice casita. Love the patio, the dog, and the cat. 😉
haha yea they're a great part of the package!

The view gave me chills I love this place 💕✨
I would love to see videos of the town, people, food, and culture. I’ve been thinking for some time of doing something kind of like what you’re doing. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻
I've already made a few videos which I published last week showing a bit of the town, but there are plenty more in the works since we'll be here for the month! Thanks for following along and taking the time to comment!
That is an amazing find for $600/month! Even a pool. You are living the life.
600 dólares.
OMG, this is so beautiful. I’m so envious of you. This would be paradise for me. I live in northern Canada and it’s -25 degrees here. I think I’d sell my soul to be where you are. You are so lucky!
I'm blessed to be mexican and live in Puerto Vallarta where is sunny everyday.
Why stay somewhere that makes you unhappy?
I'm sick of the USA. Very interested and thanks for the information. I want to be warm the rest of my life and hopefully never see ice again unless it comes from the freezer.

That’s lovely and so quiet for Mexico. Looks like you get to borrow a couple of nice pets too.
haha yea it's been nice to enjoy having a few pets around for sure!
Such an airy and beautiful house. I love it!
Spent a few months each year from 2005-2007 down in that area. Rented a casita on a small ranch outside of Pescadero, and a house in Todos Santos. We also stayed at the Los Milagros Hotel in Cabo San Lucas several times as the owner's guest, and she would cook dinner for guests when it wasn't busy, and we'd all eat, drink and socialize on the upper patio. Love that little place. Your videos bring back some really great memories of a special area of Baja.
Sounds like those were great years for you!
$600 per month for that place is incredible! And finally, a short introduction about yourself. I think you should put that clip into every video, as people may join at any point in time.
It's definitely a steal compared the other prices around this region of the country! Glad you enjoyed the intro, I'll definitely be incorporating it more now!
Love Mexico. The food and fruits are so yummy. So so nice. 🥰🌷🍹
Great Video Laura.
Thank you so much!
So jealous..in snowy Canada...enjoy🌻🌻🌻
Embrace your surroundings! Jeleousy isnt a good thing.
Looks so relaxing., would love to live in a place like that😃
Such a lovely rental, love getting the tours!💕
Your home is gorgeous!! We love your videos!!!! We're thinking about staying in Mexico for a month in December and my really big question is how'sthe internet speed in Todos Santos where you are? We need to hop on Zoom calls for work so internet speed is a huge consideration. Just wondering what your experience has been?
Looks very nice & cozy..Love the doors that open up to a beautiful patio area. Don't blame you for working outside in that gorgeous sunshine. I'm sure it sucks when it rains. Are you able to maybe buy a space heater for those chilly or rainy days?? Adorable Casita you got very lucky & the pool is an extra bonus for the price that's very cheap
The pool was a definite added bonus that we have been loving on a sunny afternoon - it's not heated so its FRESH, but nice! It's not so cold that we need a space heater, just a cup of tea and more blankets has been sufficient :)
is there a link somewhere?
Wonderful video,,thanks Laura for the uplooad😊
Wow. I'm packing my bags!
omg that house rockssssss so beautiful !!!!!
Hey Laura,
Love your vids and interested in your thoughts of rentals in San Jose del Cabo. Do you have a monthly cost range to consider for longer term rental?
Thanks!
As a "professional" RUclips video watcher may I suggest that you slow the camera pans down a touch and maybe stay a little longer on the shot. From the reflection in the window I see that you may be using a gimbal which certainly makes the movement smooth but a little to rapid. I enjoy your content. Thanks.

Hola muy bonita casita 🏡 saludos desde Chicago Illinois
I can’t be in Mexico yet. But I can stay in a casita in Asia’s only Latin City. Perhaps one day, I get to be in Mexico. Definitely a dream travel destination.
Thank u for sharing ur day to day . Can’t wait to move to Cabo. Looking forward to it.
Great video and I really like the place that you and your husband is staying in, And I can't wait for you to show us around the city and the food and culture.
Thanks, Scottie! Lots more videos to come!
wow what a beautiful place, a little piece of heaven
Wow, you scored! Enjoy the lifestyle.
Thanks for this. Reinforces our van life plans as retirees next year.
Your videos are awesome! I have been to San Jose 3x in 2019-2020 and fell in love instantly. Seeking to buy a little slice of heaven. Your vids are really nice - informative, well produced, and you have a great video presence. Thank you - keep them coming and blessings to you as you continue your beautiful journey!
Interesting that Mexican houses are built so much better than American... That's a beautiful place, my compliments to the builders.
Stunning little place!!! I love it! 🥰👍👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks!
To own a casita by the beach in South Florida, if you don`t have a couple of million dollars in your
saving account, forget it. Then the taxes eats you alive.
Same with this part of Mexico in reality. This casita is not 'by the beach' as the title says. I assure you a property like that 'by the beach' in Todos Santos will cost you over $1M USD. I've been a couple times, i've looked for property.
If someone can afford a million dollar home they can afford the taxes.
Try California; if it is expensive in Florida, it is impossible here in the people’s republic of California
@@1Barsamian people who complain about living in California because of it's expense should trade positions with someone living in Canada. You have no idea how good you have it. The state of California has about the same population as the entire country of Canada. Now most Americans know very little about geography beyond their own borders so i will remind you that Canada is larger than the entire USA. Imagine the population of California spread out over a country larger than your own. That's Canada. So why is California so populated vs Canada? Because everyone wants to live in California! There will always be a cost associated with living somewhere that is popular. It just comes with the territory and is part of the privilege of living somewhere so appealing.
alessandro Cipollone Exactly if no wanted to live in California then it would cost the same as most other places in the U.S. I hear a lot of people are leaving but inless millions leave it won’t makes a difference. Plus I meet people here all the time who just moved from other parts of the U.S,. They always say the weather is simply amazing which is why I will always live here.
This is such a beautiful house. I love your top too Laura.
How does the Pacific side (Todos Santos, Puerto San Carlos) compare with the Sea of Cortez side (Loreto, La Paz) in heat, rain, and wind? Thanks for your post.
Good questions. I would add to these somewhat-unique Mexican issues:
-) household water source/quality,
-) smells from lagoons, sewers, industry, etc,
-) distance and quality of roads to market/hospitals/airport.
-) neighbors dogs, roosters, traffic, long-term construction noise
You will not find perfection, but renting a place short-term can help identify game-breakers.
I visited both last year and it’s definitely a lot cooler on the Pacific side despite being a fairly short drive
All the beaches and towns in the Gulf side have warmer weather than the ones on the Pacific Ocean shore, sometimes Todo Santos is 10 Celcius degrees cooler than La Paz.
So how many people have reached out to ask for the owner's contact info? LOL Just a lovely casita!
that is a beautiful casita !!! excellent choice.. saludos.
Beautiful!❤️
Wow! What a great deal. Beautiful.
We have lived here for 5 years.
You are doing our town justice. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your stay here.
Please stay safe and wear a mask. We appreciate it.
Thanks Regginald! We are definitely masked up wherever we go - thanks for welcoming us to your little slice of paradise!
❤️it! Got a Lil dizzy from the camera angles 😆....love your videos. 💕
I love Baja!!
UPDATE :)! The prices are 30-50% higher now in Todos Santos, and Mexico… so its not cheap anymore in Mexico.
I really enjoy this channel. The host makes you feel like you are right in the story.
So many hosts cant tell a compelling story.
I may make a similar move in 2022. Thanks again.
Me encantó esa casita, espero pronto poder visitar Todos Santos!
I knew you could get way more than what you could get in the states for that amount of money, but I didn't realize it would be that much more. Amazing. Thanks.
You're reading Jorge Ibargüengoitia! He's muy favorite writer! Now we're talking!!
Great presenter, perfect voice
Lovely, I want to move in!
It's beautiful. I love it!

Always pleasant if not somewhat distracting. Surely though Thank You!

Comfortable telling me the rental info, I’d like to see if it’s available! Great channel!! Cheers
First video I watch of yours and I’m hooked! Love your Vibes...Subscribed! ❣️✨
This was only 600 us dollars?? Gorgeous!
Right !!
When you said only $ 600 it may sound cheap but in Mexico you have to be kind wealthy to be able to afford it.
@@LuisRivera-qu1el just comparing what youd get in canada for $600...in my area you may get a bedroom for this rent price 😲
@@rachelbritton3498 well 600 dls may sound cheap for that little house but the minimum wage in mexico is about 12 dls a day.
@@LuisRivera-qu1el Obviously it's not for those who earn minimum wages. It is cheap for almost everyone else
Love your videos !! You guys need to catch clean and eat some fish off those stunning beach’s. Your intoxicating to listen to and watch love your videos again keep up the good work.
Thanks Norm! We don't have any of the equipment to fish, but it does sound like fun!
@@laura-bronner you guys ever make up to California in the seal beach area reach out to me, wife and would love to show how it’s done(mostly me🤷🏽♂️😬) it’s the cheapest and easiest way to fish.
It looks wonderful! Do you feel safe? I don't see security. I live between Ajijic and Chapala. Security is critical lakeside.
Mood boosting casita!
Laura you look so happy and pretty in Mexico
Laura I'm going down to Todo Santos on August 1st for a month with my doberman. If things work out I'm going to move there permanently. A place like this would be ideal how could I find a place like this what would you recommend? Thanks for all your help I would appreciate it.
Love the house 😍.
Me too!
Great place!
My friend from Europe want to come to Mexico for in 3 months He would love something like that!!
Are things going on in the US affecting you in Mexico
I am enjoying your videos I just found you yesterday. Thank you for sharing......
Thanks Laura, we've been following along for a bit now, and subscribed from both of our channels, I have a music channel, and we have a sailing channel. We're gearing up to buy a house in La Paz, and found you researching the area. It's been very informative, thanks. We'll build a house in La Paz and will have a rental available if you're ever looking for another stay in the area. We'll be sailing to La Paz from the East coast after we buy/ build there. Thanks Paz y amor. Curtis and Christina
Hello, I noticed in several videos about living in Mexico that the drinking water is supplied in 5 gal. jugs. Can you buy bottled water in cases like you can here in the US?
Also, if someone like yourself who only uses a bike to get around would happen to need immediate medical attention, how would you get to a doctor or hospital right away? Do they have Ambulance services in Mexico?
Thanks for the video! Love Todos!
Love your video. I would like to go to Mexico to rent for a few months at least in the cold weather, but I don’t know where to start. Is there anyway to find some guidance? Thank you.
You have a wonderful place there. How long do you intend to stay and where might you go next? Maybe I’ll read that book by Jorge Ibarguengoitia if I decide to spend time in México. 👍🏽👍🏽
We'll stay in this region for a few months, hopping around to Cabo, La Paz, and hopefully up to Loreto, too!
Great video Laura
Thanks Gary!
I miss being able to eat seeds and nuts, especially almonds
Where do you “park” your bike when you go for a swim at the beach???
Thank you
Great video. Much appreciated! Love your Casita!
Wow that’s a beautiful apartment!!!
It's been great so far!
What about bugs
Surprisingly bugs are not so bad in Baja California Sur because it’s so dry, like Arizona.
There are scorpions and spiders, but they're mostly harmless and quite afraid of you. We usually just put a cup over them and ooch them out of the house and they scurry off.
