that is a unique question.. il try and answer it... actually enamel is translucent without colour... but when seen under light microscope it has a slight brownish hue... tooth sections are unstained, so it will be very difficult to represent them in diagram without giving them any colour.. may be thats why we colour the cementum yellow... i hope this helped :)
