We tend to forget that he is an actor portraying characters. Chief Phupa is a different character from Heng. He needed to act matured and serious for his role as Phupa. But since Heng's character is clumsy and dorky, he needed to portray it. It just shows how versatile he is as an actor.

I like seeing how they have to use their faces and bodies in gestures in this comedy genre. It works! Sometimes in comedies, the acting is too exaggerated, but this series is good in terms of the balance between the comedy and natural, felt emtions, too. I like how there are moments of genuine connection and sincerity where the comedy isn't the main feeling of the scene. Emotional range is here. The dialogue is so fun, and the tones of voice. Cute!
