Try to learn some Arabic language which will help you a lot especially on the border. I always watch your blog and always pray for your safety. This guy who took almost 25 dollars from you for nothing, I am fluent in Arabic and I think you did a mistake by asking him how much money did he want, instead you could have given him two notes as a tips. When you asked him he got you. These kind of brokers exists in Asian borders only. By the way stay safe and have a wonderful journey. I really enjoyed your Syria tour.
