Grace I thought we were leaving Uganda together 🤔 You left me 😒
Oh dear, you should have told me so I could wait for you😄
I wonder why East African countries such as Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, continue to stick with the colonial legacy of driving on the left. Those are the small but powerful symbols/gestures of colonial control that we pay little attention to but which influence us. Discard them.
Yea, the driving usually looks different to me, when I observe how they negotiate turns at roundabouts I'm really amazed😄 but that's their way
If driving on the left is a colonial legacy from the British, then driving on the right is also a colonial legacy from the French. Rwanda drive on the right because they were colonized by France. Plus, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania can get cheaper cars from Japan who also drive on the left.
@@chesshudsen4643 check your history records. France never colonized Rwanda.
The 2 European countries associated with Rwandan colonization were first Germany until 1922 when Belgium became its colonial power and ruled until Rwandan independence in 1962.
Nigeria and Ghana were not colonized by France for example, and they drive on the right as are the majority of countries of the world. It pays for former colonies to discard certain colonial symbols and institutions to truly assert their independence.
@@joeyternaagor6457 belgium is technically a french colony ..also nothing wrong if we driving on the left ..all East and southern africa countries drive on the left ...also it easier to ship cars from japan and UK to East Africa and southern africa these countries keep left too
@@marc8485 I take it that the idea is to not admit that it was a historical error to credit France with colonizing Rwanda hence this new line of technically equating Belgium to France and setting up new issues all in an effort to rationalize/defend the left hand drive status quo: - 1 all East and Southern African countries drive on the left,
2. It’s easy to import cars from Japan which also drives on the left, gosh the rationalizations we resort to just to resist effecting any change.
So, which is it, do you drive on the left because other East and Southern African countries drive on the left or because it’s easy to import left hand drive cars from Japan and they also drive on the left?
Here’s the bigger picture to guide you: of the 54 countries in Africa (at least in the AU), about 41 of them (including territories) drive on the right and only 14 drive on the left.
Evidently, you don’t think that it makes better sense to join the overwhelming majority of African countries to drive on the right than to stick with your colonial heritage of left hand drive.
And by the way, Japan exports cars to all the 41 right hand drive countries in Africa, just saying.
You know they killed 11 million kongolese and exploited Kongo resources to build their country with NATO and USA behind them who no longer had ways to exploit kongolese cause Mobutu turn his back on them at old ages. If we love Africa and want to freely built it we must fight against all the white supremacists influence in our continent.
The day that Rwanda will turn against Africans and start making Africans eat Mediterranean food and listening to Greek music is the day Africans will deeply understand the kongolese people cries
Right 😭😭
Ingeta !
times Rwanda in population, size, minerals, timber literally everything yet you say that a small nation like Rwanda is the reason you're not safe and not developing, what are you waiting for, if Rwanda is creating problems for you why can't stop those problems, why can't you stop Rwanda but just not staying crying Rwanda this, Rwanda that😡
Go on map and try to understand what you're saying. Heyo Congolese people unless you become serious as a country and stop blaming others for your mess and responsibility, you will not develop yet you have a country that 1000
@@patrickverified ruclips.net/video/RJA4Nol6IY8/видео.html
@@patrickverified Kongo is a developing country with a democratically elected so you wrong , Rwanda in the other hand need a democratically elected leader cause that dictatorship of kagame is getting old. Also when I remember , rwanda and Uganda are the only country we blame and why ? How come we never blame Tanzania , Zambia , Angola , Kongo , central Africa. Republic and south Sudan. How come we never blame those countries but Rwanda and Uganda ?
