Master perfumer Olivier Cresp made one of the greatest fragrances, Loewe Esencia which I believe is the best fragrance produced by Loewe. Thanks for the video.
Esencia Loewe, the small green bottle was a favourite of mine back in the 90s. My dad who worked in Saudi at the time brought me it back, it was one of the most popular fragrances at the time with Saudi men, despite it obviously being a warm countey.A fantastic scent, replaced now by the newer shaped bottle.
@@GerryT. Really cool story! I got into fragrances originally because of scent associations with childhood memories. I think this is perfect for hot weather honestly. Do you know the new version? Do you think it smells different than the version in this video?
Rogue Perfumery's Bon Monsieur is an exceptional Aromatic Fougere. Moss throughout. opens with Lavender, then Carnation with Fir in the background per my sample. I also like Mousee Illuminee by RP too. It has a lighter floral opening with a stronger Oakmoss dry down. Bogart Signature is very good and an exceptional value. It is lighter on florals, yet packs a punch with Moss, Birch and Leather. This one works with my nose and my frugality.
My two favorites are vintage Lauder for men, and Houbigant duc de vervins. They smell like drakkar noir yes but they both have civet in them. Amazing...
@@JohnMiller1983-s3p Excellent choices!! I love the Duc de Vervins Extrême, but the Bon Monsieur in this video, which I prefer, smells a whole lot like it and with better performance in my opinion
Nice list. I got 1 fragrance recently which would fit in your list. It is marketed for women, but it's actually unisex. Damn nice chypre floral perfume. -> Jean-Louis Scherrer Eau De Toilette. - Another 1 I got recently - has been discontinued - is D'Orsay Arome 3 Tradition. 🙃
@@Chinaski1 Unfortunately I don't like the newer versions of it and I didn't think it was worth coughing up a lot of money to buy a vintage bottle. But yes, the original was such a good fragrance

Great choices. 👌 BdJ a gold standard for me. Probably my favourite perfume genre too. Plus I'm wearing Beach Hut Man today so it fits! 😄
@@justaddlight Beach Hut Man... I can only say that I've sampled it once or twice. Great fragrance but too expensive for me
@@realscentreview Paris Corner's Killer Oud Cabana is actually not a bad take for cheap. Pretty strong too.
@@justaddlight I'll have to look into this. Thanks!

Great list. But I missed Rive Gauche by YSL.

Make one about neo fougeres like limsoumis, sedley and b612
@@edutottenham Great idea. B612 would have been on this list - the smell is so amazing but it just does not last at all on me, unfortunately
@realscentreview the projection is really soft on me as well
"Neo fougere" sounds cooler than "oriental fougere", which is a video I was planning to make at some point. Maybe I'll incorporate your idea
@realscentreview I got to know the term on max forti's video haha really sounds cool
Hi just wanted to let you know the word is pronounced like foo-zhair.
He has an accent. He is a Spaniard and lives in Canada. Some of us speak several languages; accents are inevitable for multi-linguists.
@@jlusk999 A good word to describe someone like you would be "pedantic"
@@alfredo2506 Thank you, but actually it's the other way around!
Wasn't trying to be ugly at all. A lot of people aren't aware of the proper way to pronounce French words.
Dude I appreciate you're really proud of your vintage Jazz etc... But come on, stick to bottles that can be purchased.
@@trublu72lewis77 Ahh I know. Maybe you're right
@@realscentreview Don't get me wrong, your content is really good!
@ I got a bit excited. I'll try to include more offerings that are more widely available in the future
