My response to the purple shirt with respect to the use of Indigenous tribal in ITLF. To say that it is illogical to use indigenous tribal without any representation from Tangkhul, Maram, Poumai, and other Naga tribes is very illogical and reflects his lack of common sense. In Manipur we have an organization by the name All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU). This organization was purely formed by the valley people and till today there is no representation from the hills. We never have any problem with this and several other organizations using 'All Manipur.' Then why do we have problems with the use of 'indigenous tribal' by the Kuki people. Instead of objecting it, the Naga tribes should find ways to be part of the ILTF. To go by his logic, nobody should be able to use the word Manipur, India, Bharat, etc without the knowledge of all states/communities living inside the territory. That is too senseless.
Sir Ashang says, Indigenous tribal forum must containg Tangkhul, maring, Etc. So, Did his forum contains Chin/Kuki/Mizo? , and does his umbrella organization gave the same shades to all indigenous people of manipur? If not..... His claim on this issue is Naga bias, not all indigenous.
