An interesting video. I've experienced similar dreams to what was described at 9:59. I personally don't associate myself as a Therian, but I'm fully aware of these jarring experiences that can happen in dreams in particular. I think in my case it was an over-active imagination, but yeah, it's a really creepy thing to experience. I have ADHD and Autism, so I think my imagination playing these tricks on me while I'm sleeping might have something to do with that - especially because in the dreams I remember vividly, there seems to be always something that feels VERY real during the experience, but then I look back at it while awake, and recognise - wait, that's beat for beat something I watched in a cartoon. I'm not saying that's how all experiences work - just that this was my own particular experience.
I absolutely love and appreciate the phrasing of "WHO are therians" rather than "WHAT are therians". It doesn't objectify us and make us seem rare or mythical.
So true! Countless times I've seen people online ask things like, "how are humans different from animals?," and I have to remind them that humans _are_ animals. And so often they'll argue that they aren't animals!
As a furry and a therian, thank you for using your platform to educate about therians! Therianthropy is so misunderstood, I have even seen furries hate on therians :(
I'm glad to see more videos on the difference between furries and therians . Considering a lot of people tend to get this mixed up and this will be perfect for people who are unsure about us and are willing to learn the difference.
As a therian who is also a furry, I absolutely love that you brought this into attention! Seeing this video within the furry community is so wonderful! I also feel not a lot of furries seem to know of therianthropy aswell, I'm happy that you've brought some light onto this subject! People become so misinformed with therianthropy and furries which certainly is very hurtful, I really wish that more people could come to a better understanding like this. You've explained this so beautifully, the editing is wonderful and you did so well with your research! I love your videos, Stormi! Thank you so much for sharing this!! ^^
I'm both a furry and a therian and I'm so glad you tackled the topic so well! A lot of people shorten it down to a stereotype, excluding psychological therians, trauma-caused therians, non-shifting therians ... great video !! :3
Im a bit confused, trauma caused therians, non shifters, and psychological are definitely valid. Even Otherpaws are valid. no one should feel excluded or alienated, especially if they feel strongly for something but not necessarily, *it,* you know?
Props to you getting actual interviews for the subject matter. I find it awesome that you're using your platform to shine light on other misunderstood communities.
As a therian, I'm grateful for how respectful and well researched this video is on the subject. Nicely done! I'd love to see more videos on the subject, too~
It’s nice of you Stormi to touch up on The difference between Furries and Therians. I myself am a furry but I do have a close friend who is a therian. This video was very informational. Thanks for making it.😺😺😺😺😺
I actually have a friend who is a therian through dreams. I haven't been told much past her dreaming that she was a Mountain lion wandering around and hunting. So I shared this video with her.
Well worth the weight. I think my favorite part in the video was the cave painting. It makes sense because it is believed by archiologists that caves were used as a place for going into a ritual trance. In this translate states, people would see animals, objects, and spiritual guides.
I definitely relate to the dreams. I'm a lucid dreamer, and years ago I dreamt that I could shapeshift into a werewolf at will. Running on all fours felt perfectly natural, as did shifting back and forth as easily as breathing in and out. It became the inspiration for a fantasy novel series, though I don't have as much time to devote to writing it as I would like.
I'd love to hear more about this, and about Otherkin as well! (as I have learned from this video, I fit more into the "otherkin" category since the "fantasy creature" I feel most similar to is a Dragon).
This is a fantastic video full of spot-on information, so thank you for that, Stormy. There are only one or two minor details that differed from my experience or understanding so really not worth mentioning. I'd have been very happy to participate and answer any question you have if I'd known you were preparing for such a video. I gained my awareness as a therian in 2008 and the experience was both profound and crushing. It's like being blind your whole life and then gaining your eyesight and realizing you're trapped in a cage. It explained so much about who I am and why I always felt inexplicably different my whole life. I don't talk much about it in my interaction with furries or on my FA page because those who don't experience or understand therianthropy tend to dismiss it as "furries who took things a bit too far". I'd just like to add that we shouldn't be shunning people. It's far better to talk, listen, and gain some understanding about those who are different. Unless the person seems outright creepy or unstable, give them the respect of getting to know them before judging or rejecting them.
God this was such a good video. I made a therian friend a while ago, and we met up irl recently and as he was explaining it to me I was so fascinated. And he even described a dream just like the one in the video! I really want to continue to learn and understand how therianthropy works now. Again awesome vid, would love to see more like it! 🧡
this was a really cool video! im a golden retriever therianthrope :) its rare to see videos like this out here about us that aren't negative. thank you for being positive! it means a lot. :)
Omg! Its so good for you to take a step into the therian community and learn about us!! Im a con-therian, and love the fact we get more representation from people, i loved the video stormi!! I would love more videos, especially talking about con-therianthopy!! Again thanks stormi for the spread of info !! Love the vids!! Keep up the great work and amazing fanbase!
I'm thankful that you approached something so misunderstood with care and tact. Even among the misanthropic world of furries, therians are an outlier, and even more misunderstood.
This was SO WELL MADE!!! You have been hyping up this video for a while and it did not disappoint. I love the way you presented the dreams. That was very unique and stood out to me. It felt very professional TBH I may not be a Therian but I recognise a well made RUclips video when I see one
As a therian & otherkin myself, thank you so much for making this video about us, it means the world to me, I love my community and I hope that this video will spread more awareness about us 🦊💝
There was something incredible about that dream sequence that tied everything together: the background, the colors, the tone, the art. It was all incredibly well produced. I am not exaggerating when I say this feels like the ushering in of a new kind of Stormi, something high quality, impactful, and from the heart. I'm looking forward to more. 💙💛🤍
amazing video!! no longer consider myself a part of the therian community due to the direction the community is going in but glad to see good, true information being spread ^^
Wow, this is very informative and interesting! I’ve always wondered what a therian was, but now I understand what it means. Thank you for the insight, and as always, great video! Much love!
Awesome video. The wealth if info into therians are incredible. Thanks for teaching me of this. I'm not therian myself, but have seen signs of those in the cons I go to. Love this awesome video. Protowave is an awesome voice. Keep up the awesome job.
This is an amazing video and your research and sources you used to make this is so on point on this subject on therians. Now I know more on this thanks to you Stormi. And I thought otherkin and therians are the same thing but actually isn’t. And there is this phase that I remember being a werewolf and then a reptilian. Thank you and your sources for educating me on this interesting topic.
Pawsome video! I got too busy with life and wasn't able to see it till now but OMG thanks for doing deep research on this topic and sharing experiences from therians
Thank you for this absolutely wonderful, informative video about therians. What many who try to explain it often gets wrong is the diversity and differences among therians. Ask 20 therians about what it is to them, and you will get 20 different answers, and you did a great job at covering this diversity. When I grew up I always felt that I wasn't human, but it wasn't until 1992 at the age of 15, that it crystalized that I was a therian. I felt extremely alone in this, until I got the opportunity to get on the Internet in December 1995, and the very first thing I did was to see if there were others like me, and I found there was, and I was euphoric to find that I was not alone. The definition that therians are always realistic animals and otherkin are not, were not there in the beginning. It's originally just two similar communities with different beginnings. There were gryphon therians and dragon therians, and regular dog and wolf otherkin, and some still define themselves like this. Once again, thank you so much for this excellent video! You explain it all so well!
Hi stormi! I’ve been watching your channel for about 5 or 6 years now. I’m a furry and a therian! It’s been nice to see you grow and change. But still, I really enjoy your content and now I can comment about that since I used to not be able to. That’s all, can’t wait to see you more!🩵
Lovely video. It's really strange to see therianism/alterhumanity become a huge trend, to the point it's almost mainstream... (among kids, at least) Some time ago i came across this video on youtube shorts where a person says "yes, I'm a therian, but I am completely human!". It seems to most people it's about masks and quadrobics... Most videos on the topic come from this place of "tiktok therianism", which is why I am very happy about well-researched videos like these ^_^ I'll also include what therianism means to me: It's a shorthand, it's a quick way to say "I genuinely believe I'm a dragon"". This belief explains a lot of feelings and experiences thoughtout my life.
This was very well put together, and fairly comprehensive. Well done. As an Otherkin, I can tell you there is often a great deal of overlap between the two groups. However, there is also plenty of detail and nuance that can be distinct, and whole other branch groups that are part of being 'kin, but not therian, or as some account for things, even alterhuman. If anybody is curious, and still has questions after watching the video, I'd be happy to help. And if you see this, Stormi, and you're considering doing a follow-up on Otherkin, I'd be glad to supply anything you might like to know. I've been part of the community for some 20+ years now, so I know a thing or two. :)
I've been pondering it for a while going back and forth in my mind. I know I am a furry. However, after reflecting I have a strong feeling I might be otherkin yet also another that isn't a mythical creature. For the otherkin I'm referring to dragons. When I was younger I said aloud, "I feel like a dragon wearing a human skin suit". I drew myself as to how I would look like as a dragon. Besides that there are cat behaviors I do innately without thinking about it. So I would like to know how to classify that being together? I do want some clarity on this matter.
@@FoxdragonAzul You can be both a therian and an otherkin. There are some therians who have multiple 'theriotypes' too; sometimes they're experienced completely separately, sometimes as a blend.
As a therian, I was really confused when I first learned the term because I thought all furrys wanted to be animals. It's still kind of strange to me to this day that my fellow furrys often still identify as human! Also, these days we tend to include theriomythic identities under the therian umbrella, so one could totally identify as a folf and call themselves a therian! It's also important to recognize that being a therian does not have to be spiritual. I myself see me identifying as non-human as simply just a result of my autism. But it's also valid to have spiritual beliefs, too. In the end, therianthropy is really just craving a bestial appearance and feeling that is what would be the most you. I'm really glad us therians are becoming more known! I hadn't heard about us until early 2022 which is when I realized I was one!
before i watched this I was questioned what they were. why they are but after watching this. I understand more about them TikTok has had a lot of influence on everything well at least I know the truth now thank you Stormi
This video was amazing Stormi! It was absolutely worth the wait! I can definitely see the amount of time and effort you put into it, and it really shows! The interviews you did were great, which reminds me of the Kemono suit video you did where you said you interviewed 3 people before you started recording. It's great that you were very thorough with your research in this video too! The dream sequences were a really nice touch too with the art style and music! Also, I LOVE that you used a small snippet of Kainé Salvation from NieR Gestalt and Replicant during the intro! I don't know if it was you or Proto that chose to put it in, but as a huge NieR fan, it makes me so happy you did it and it fits well! As I said back when you made that short asking people of how they got into the fandom and shared my story with how Automata led me to it, I'd love to see you play through both the Replicant remake and NieR: Automata on stream some day! Anyway, keep up the awesome work as always! I would love to see more deep dive videos like this and think follow up videos to this topic would be great! Therians ARE quite fascinating as you said at the end, so I think doing more videos on them and going deeper into it is a great idea! I look forward to seeing more soon!
Been a little rough lately but that’s life sometimes, but you did a really great job on this. It’s hard to correctly balance entertaining vs informative but you did that very well
This has been an amazing video stormi! I've heard the term Therian before but i never knew what it meant, this video has been really informative and insight ^^
I’m in a philosophy class and one of the questions that is thrown around is, If humans are more like animals? It’s based on the relation between our behaviors and those of other wild animals. How we commonly associate ourselves with animals, social packs, senses, and intellect are all based on the human if it is greater or less than. We call cats and dogs as our furry friends. It’s the idea that if we were to take out bias from assessing ourselves, we are no more different than any other species. The experience I have with the furry fandom contributes to my philosophy, learning how people have a different take on life and how they wish to life to its fullest.
I mean, humans are absolutely more alike to other animals than we are different. Humans keep trying to come up with ways that objectively and definitely make us special compared to all other animals, but those keep being debunked by actual observations and experiments (like "tool use makes us special", or "recognizing oneself in a mirror makes us special"), so we keep having to come up with ever more convoluted and specific definitions of our specialness.
hay my friend! I FINALLY got some time to sit and take in your therian video. I, as a therian myself, think you do a wonderful job putting this informative video together, and should you chose to, would like to see you delve further in what it's like being therian. I also really appreciate all your research to accurately report on those like myself, and dispel inaccurate, harmful misrepresentations and misunderstandings of those of us like myself.
I know me being therian didn't really cross my mind until after a major car accident that kinda just got things started. Felt the phantom tail and just didn't know why. Didn't really know any other therians until I've met a few.
As a dragonkin, I can say that expressing non-humanity in furry conventions is very welcomed when compared with living with conservative parents or doing so in the office.
There are enough dragons around whose experiences align more closely with therians than with otherkin that I often think of therians as "those who feel like their sense of self is that of a non-human animal that exists or has existed on the earth... and also sometimes dragons". :D
I always felt and acted differently since I was a kid and alot of friends and partners say my personality was very "fox like" and it was seen as weird so when I found the furry community I felt understood but not quite, now hearing this about Therians, I think this might be where I can find people that understand more how I feel. Thank you for the informative video and I believe you did I really good job.❤
@@StormiFolf That’s a great question 🤔 I suppose the minor nuances within the alterhuman spectrum - things like species dysphoria, more details about what supernumerary phantom limbs feel like, specific types of alterhumanity (such as shapeshifters, fictionkin, and otherkin types like fursonakin and conceptkin in particular), copinglink, otherhearted, trauma-related alterhumans, Awakenings, fictionflickers, theriomythics, clads, and there's probably more I've forgotten about
it great to see people reasearch more about therians, therianthropy is different to all therians, i myself, fit in a few "boxes/spectrums" i am a non-shifting therian, so i dont shift in anyway, which is probably good seeing as i have a very strong prey drive, i also am a polytherian, in which i identify as multible animals. (marbled fox, redwolf, bald eagle, spix macaw, horse, achilobator(dinosaur), and smilodon(saber toothed tiger)) i also have extinct theriotypes, and i forget the term for it, so i guess you could say im alive, dead, and endangered all at the same time! some therians do quads to help connect with their theriotypes, and for some, it can lead to alot of dysphoria, or is just uncomfortable for them. for me, i personally love quads, my only real dysphoric thing i have is my bird theriotypes, i cant fly belive it or not, and it kinda hurts, and as much as i want to, i have to tell myself, that "ill never be a bird, ill never be free, i cant fly, im JUST a human" and it hurts. because, atleast i can do quads and be like my four-legged types, but i cant EVER fullfill my dreams of flying, ive always wanted to fly, even when i was younger, and didnt know i was a therian, and i told myself and others around me that "i will make wings that can actually fly someday, i know it!".. guess what.. yea, anyways, my fingers hurt. (if you have any questions, then i can answer them! i just wont see them for a bit bc im on pc and well, yea no notifications sadly, so it might be a bit untill i can answer them! sorry!) (oh one thing i forgot! you can do quads, wear masks, and tails, and not be a therian, or any type of alterhuman, if you want to identify as an animal, there is funlink, which means to identify as an animal as a means of fun!)
Yeah, if you ask ten therians for a definition of therianthropy you'll get eleven definitions. :D Thanks for making this video about us. I'd say it's an accurate and respectful summary. One point on specifics; it's not the act of physically shifting that's condemned, but the _claim_ that one can. If someone could prove they could physically shift (p-shift), that would be amazing, and envied by so many therians. But of course nobody can, it's just that some people will lie about being able to p-shift for attention or, worse, to manipulate. There have been cases of people promising the 'secrets of p-shifting' behind a cult-like power structure. Also be wary of any 'packs' that have a power hierarchy or involve paying money.
After watching this video,I realized that I have a phantom limb or tail in this case,it’s been a while since I had it and now I have a proper name for it,I’m not a therian/otherkin though but it’s cool to know that
Wow, you've put it all very nice! ^ ^ This video is genuinely feels kind and respectful towards therians and I like it so much! Unfortunately not all videos from non-therians are positive like this one... I'm myself a questioning alterhuman. I don't feel fully human, and I always felt more connected to the non-human beings. When I think about my soul, it feels non-human, like originating from a different world. It doesn't have a specific form or look, I think. And when I think about my mind and psyche, some days I feel more animalistic then the others, and I experience shifts, usually mental and envisage shifts. In mental shift my mind and thoughts change a little bit more to the animal-like pattern. And in envisage shift, when I think about how I look like, I "see" myself as a different being in a thought form way. It's a little bit hard to explain, but I have a good analogy)) It "works" and feels almost like a VTuber model, or VRChat avatar, wich constantly mimics your body's and face's movements. So for example, if I'm in a Spyro envisage shift, when I smile, this Spyro "picture" in my mind will smile too, and it happens almost automatically. But I don't feel any sensations like those in the phantom shift, or see any of it literally. I'm questioning having a kintype (specific being you identify as), but I'm not sure if I do. In mental shift I usually feel draconic/dino, bird-like or canine, and for envisage shift, I experience a *lot* of different things - it can be any animal or character. So I'm like, um, an unspecified kind of thing at the moment :3 Also sorry if my English is a potato🥔😂
Thank you so much for doing proper research and asking therians about their experiences. Im a therian, furry, quadrobist, and an otherkin if anyone has any questions.
I will mention that some of those 'tiktok therians' are actually therians, we shouldn't judge if they actually are or not, however I agree that alot of people will do it just for attention.
I’m not a therian, nor am I spiritual in any way, but I have one experience that makes me question those above statements a little. I’ve always had very vivid dreams, but a reoccurring theme is that I’ll either see corvids or be a corvid in my dreams a lot of the time. Magpies and crows make up most of these occurrences. Corvids are not my favourite animals by any means, I’m pretty neutral towards them, so why do they show up instead of my favourite animals? I love reptiles but I hardly ever see them in my dreams. When I am a corvid in my dreams, it feels pretty realistic. Like how would my brain be able to create such a vivid depiction of flying? It’s just odd to me. I have a connection to these random animals when I have no concrete reason to. So I’m just curious as to what people think..
It's been quite a while since I last watched this channel, glad to know you're still uploading! I last joined during a livestream and learned why you used to think snow wasn't real lmao
Been in burn out mode for a while ^^; So I'm trying something new! I might do more deep dive topics like this in the future! Not everything has to be furry related on a furry youtuber channel haha
@@StormiFolf Of course, do what you enjoy! I'm here for the vibe you bring and of course to support a fellow trans sister, so I'll watch whatever you make next! ^w^
Huh, found it interesting when one Therian said "existed or HAVE existed on Earth." Could that mean there are therians of extinct animals too, such as dinosaurs, mammoths, sabertooth etc?
12:33 i can help a bit on that! Poly therian: a therian With multiple theriotypes(ex: Eurasianwolf, artic fox, black cat, sealion) Paleo therian: a therian who's theriotype (or one of them) is a prehistoric creature(ex: pterodactyl) My brain just stoped braining 😂
Heyo, therian-adjacent person here. I'm in a little bit of all of the above categories, as I'm in the furry fandom, and I'm kinda both a therian and otherkin, but also neither. I'm sort of in a weird place where I haven't found anyone like me - I'm a nonhuman consciousness that hasn't been properly incarnated just yet, because the technology required for me to exist in my true form hasn't been invented. Physically I'm similar to a mountain lion, but I'm actually a cyborg. I'm a result of careful genetic manipulation and mechanical augmentation alike. Some friends have referred to me as a sphinx or a manticore, which are from myth, but I'm not a 'legendary creature' like those nor am I really a true animal as they exist in nature. I'm just me. Brains be complicated, and having this on top of being trans in this sleeve/body definitely makes things interesting when it comes to navigating the world. I guess the point I wanted to make with this is to say thanks for making this and making it clear that there's a lot of different ways to be therian - hope you got to learn a little more about your own identity too in the process, even if you aren't yourself alterhuman!

Fascinating video the discussion about dreams remind me of a common recurring dream i have.
this was a really cool video! im a golden retriever therianthrope :) its rare to see videos like this out here about us that aren't negative. thank you for being positive! it means a lot. :)
Wow, Stormi! You did an amazing job on this one! Fantastic work!
Very interesting video thank you so much for delving into the topic. Would definitely love to hear more if you ever would!
This was SO WELL MADE!!! You have been hyping up this video for a while and it did not disappoint. I love the way you presented the dreams. That was very unique and stood out to me. It felt very professional TBH
I may not be a Therian but I recognise a well made RUclips video when I see one
Thank you so much dear!!!
Would love to see more videos like this! Yes, more videos about therians in the future sounds great!
As a therian & otherkin myself, thank you so much for making this video about us, it means the world to me, I love my community and I hope that this video will spread more awareness about us 🦊💝
This video is very informational and very interesting, I would love more vids on it stormi!!
Me too!! I wanna do more deep dive topics like this!! Not everything has to be furry fandom advice xD
amazing video!! no longer consider myself a part of the therian community due to the direction the community is going in but glad to see good, true information being spread ^^
It makes me so happy to see my community represented with kindness and respect! Thank you!
Wow, this is very informative and interesting! I’ve always wondered what a therian was, but now I understand what it means. Thank you for the insight, and as always, great video! Much love!
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@StormiFolf My pleasure ^^
Awesome video. The wealth if info into therians are incredible. Thanks for teaching me of this. I'm not therian myself, but have seen signs of those in the cons I go to. Love this awesome video. Protowave is an awesome voice. Keep up the awesome job.
I loved how relaxing this was :) thanks for all the info too I’m currently stuck on if I’m a therian or not so this helped
Glad it was helpful! Will me covering deeper topics in the future! 🥰
That dream was so interesting to watch i loved it
Thank you for this absolutely wonderful, informative video about therians.
I forgot about Stormi’s existence for like 4 years and i’m back once again to hear her explanation about my identity yipeee
I'm still here! Going through my washed up phase 😅 but hoping to get back where I was 💙
(among kids, at least)
Some time ago i came across this video on youtube shorts where a person says "yes, I'm a therian, but I am completely human!". It seems to most people it's about masks and quadrobics...
Most videos on the topic come from this place of "tiktok therianism", which is why I am very happy about well-researched videos like these ^_^
I'll also include what therianism means to me: It's a shorthand, it's a quick way to say "I genuinely believe I'm a dragon"". This belief explains a lot of feelings and experiences thoughtout my life.
Wow! Thank you stormi that really clears it up. I had no clue these other people existed. I only knew they got us and them mixed..
Awesome video Stormi. Learnt a lot about therians from this video. Very well made.^-^
Thank you!! I'm glad you enjoyed it ^^;
@@StormiFolf You're welcome
You did wonderfully on this Video, Stormi. ^^
This is nice- sibling is poly therian, so quads are actually very fun to learn(if you can get walking down-)
This was an amazing video, very well researched! Im not a therian myself but i learned a lot from this vid!!!
us therians are so proud of u Stormi you silly goober!!!
Dropping the furry (and therian) education right into our laps =w=
This video is very good! Almost all of your information was correct! witch is rare even in the community.
This is one of your best videos I have ever watched, Great Job as always, Stormi!! 💚
before i watched this I was questioned what they were. why they are
but after watching this. I understand more about them
TikTok has had a lot of influence on everything
well at least I know the truth now
thank you Stormi
I look forward to seeing more soon!
that was me, lol, i still have to finish both of those games but i LOVE the soundtracks from them
Great job on the video Stormi, hope to see more like this in the future. Stay awesome
Hope you been doing okay hon 💙 Thanks btw ^^;
Been a little rough lately but that’s life sometimes, but you did a really great job on this. It’s hard to correctly balance entertaining vs informative but you did that very well
This has been an amazing video stormi! I've heard the term Therian before but i never knew what it meant, this video has been really informative and insight ^^
Thank you so much!
EVERYONE WAKE UP THE THERIAN VID DROPPED
😴😴😴
I am so glad to see videos like this!! I am glad you wanted to take the time to learn about us
Hi, copinglink and fursonakin here! This video was very informative ^^
If you don’t mind me asking, what is a copinglink? (Also sorry if it’s in the video I haven’t finished it lmao)
@@OrganismAssemblyLine13 a copinglink is a voluntary non-human identity created to cope with trauma ^^
@@voidratproductions thanks for the definition! I’ve been seeing the term around and not been sure of what it meant.
Beautifully done video Stormi. Good Job.
I love this video! So fun and interesting. Also it’s so nice to hear Proto in this, too.
hay my friend!
After a very long time, the video about therians is finally out!
Took me long enough! 😅
Amazing video stormi! Keep up the great work!
Thanks!! ^^;
D-DRAGON?
Therians can be fake animals too?
Very interesting subject.
And I loved the dream sequence art 😊
Thank you so much! :3
I'm not a therian, but it's interesting to see them
And I love that you use Zelda music in the background
I have been summoned by Zora's Domain
Great job on explaining Therians!
Very nice essay, and the animation is very good!
Thank you so much!! ^o^
DO MORE, DO MORE!!! We absolutely need more therian content - GOOD therian content!
What would you say is lacking with informative Therian content that I could cover? I'm not a Therian so keep that in mind 😅
@@StormiFolf That’s a great question 🤔 I suppose the minor nuances within the alterhuman spectrum - things like species dysphoria, more details about what supernumerary phantom limbs feel like, specific types of alterhumanity (such as shapeshifters, fictionkin, and otherkin types like fursonakin and conceptkin in particular), copinglink, otherhearted, trauma-related alterhumans, Awakenings, fictionflickers, theriomythics, clads, and there's probably more I've forgotten about
@@FrostfireTheKannik You should check out Therian Territory
With enough research I would be rather interested in seeing an almost documentary like video on this
it great to see people reasearch more about therians, therianthropy is different to all therians, i myself, fit in a few "boxes/spectrums" i am a non-shifting therian, so i dont shift in anyway, which is probably good seeing as i have a very strong prey drive, i also am a polytherian, in which i identify as multible animals.
Great video Stormi
I loved the dream sequence part
This video is genuinely feels kind and respectful towards therians and I like it so much!
So I'm like, um, an unspecified kind of thing at the moment :3
Also sorry if my English is a potato🥔😂
The Zelda music, yes!!!!!!!
Wow! very insightful ♥
Glad it was helpful!
Zoras domain from Zelda BOTW/TOTK is so relax music
It's been quite a while since I last watched this channel, glad to know you're still uploading! I last joined during a livestream and learned why you used to think snow wasn't real lmao
Been in burn out mode for a while ^^; So I'm trying something new! I might do more deep dive topics like this in the future! Not everything has to be furry related on a furry youtuber channel haha
@@StormiFolf Of course, do what you enjoy! I'm here for the vibe you bring and of course to support a fellow trans sister, so I'll watch whatever you make next! ^w^
I. Love. That. VOICE. my fursona is also a folf
8:15 i sometimes feel tail, ears, and fangs. But not always. Phantom shift ✨ it dosnt hurt at all for me tho
Huh, found it interesting when one Therian said "existed or HAVE existed on Earth." Could that mean there are therians of extinct animals too, such as dinosaurs, mammoths, sabertooth etc?
12:33 i can help a bit on that!
Poly therian: a therian With multiple theriotypes(ex: Eurasianwolf, artic fox, black cat, sealion)
Paleo therian: a therian who's theriotype (or one of them) is a prehistoric creature(ex: pterodactyl)
My brain just stoped braining 😂
People have phantom tail?
I taught that feeling wings on my back was just a me thing.
I have phantom wings, it's called phantom shifts:)
