You chose the Alberic campaign! Heir's bringing chivalry and horse-riding to the lizards! Glad you aren't grinding through legendary on this - less stressful and maybe the fog of war will be less terrifying.
Legendary gives a ton of combat buffs that effectively make player based cavalry near useless. I didn't feel like it would fit Bretonnia well.
@@HeirofCarthageagreed. I enjoy my games on hard. I never liked the unlimited moral buffs for the AI. Even on hard it’s a little crazy. I’ve had units of 120 down to 10 and those ten come back to attack me after routing for a bit. Just insane and frustrating
Don't worry about not posting as often as you used to Heir. Family is important and we completely understand that you have been busy.

It is not proper Bretonia campaign if you have no Monty Python references, so here you go:
- any knight unit: The knights who say NI!
- halbereds (or any foot unit): The defenders of Shrubbery.

P.S. Also, every peasant unit you have should be named Patchy's squires. Or, maybe, depending on the type of unit: Patchy's Bows, Patchies Swords etc.

I think it would be cool of you could get an alliance with Markus Wulfhart going and then get some Empire units in your army.

And you make smart moves that’s freaking the best part also and fun, being smart is fun and cool to watch
If I could make a suggestion for the campaign, your plan is to expand to the west to fight Wulfhart which is a fair strategy, but Bourdeleux gets tons of bonuses for port cities so you may actually want to head the opposite direction soon, and go down the eastern coast of Lustria taking the ports all the way down, fighting skaven, and making friends with the lizard bois

Hi Heir! The X should be pronoucned as a 'sh' sound. So Xahutec would be 'Shaw-oo-tec'.
You could also go with a more Spanish sound by pronouncing the X as a 'h' sound (or Spanish 'j' sound) like in the Spanish pronunciation of Mexico (Meh-heh-ko) or Ximena (Heh-me-na).

If you are planning on playing the tabletop game with your family, I would recommend one page rules. It’s a lot faster to learn and there is like 90% less stuff to worry about. I haven’t looked at the fantasy side to much but the 40k side of one page rules looks like a lot of fun
Hey Heir! I just wanted to put my 2 cents in on the dificulty vs thematic campaign idea.
I personally have fun when the content creator creating the campaign has fun and the dificulty meter really has not merit or effect on my enjoyment of watching a campaing. Thematics and special conditions and things like that are AWESOME and if its properly dificult aswell, then that is fine! But personally I don't see a reason to push massive dificulty. Enjoy your campaign and I think others will enjoy watching!
Heir you should rename the paladin to Patchy the Exsalted One, as a little bit of a pun and a throwback to the Salt Lord himself

Hey Heir. I had one of my favorite campaigns as these guys. Beware the dark elf invasions around turn 50. I was surprised when morathi and rakarth both attacked me at the same time in a pincer move from the north against the capital on the coast and the south thru the mountains. It was alot of fun but they can just spawn out the fog rather quickly lol
Also I found that lance formation is pretty good on the knights of the realm cus of the faction buff as it offsets the minus to the defense
Hey Heir! Great video as always. Quick note on confederations, for planning purposes so you know how much cash you need to have on hand. If you spend cash for confederations, which I pretty much always do, it is 7500 for a legendary lord, and 5000 for all other Bretonnian factions. Not sure what the Chivalry cost is since I never go that route.
Good to see Patchy making his appearance early in the campaign, but I think it should be rendered in the more Bretonnian "Patchie" 😉

@heirofcarthage.. you may need hot pepper sauce to get this one.. Lang.. CA blended a style of Mayan Aztec we um thinking.. So how do you pronounce an “X” in Mayan? It's actually quite simple. If the X comes before a vowel, the “X” is pronounced like “sh” So for Xahuayxol the pronunciation is like Sha Why Shoal. If the “X” comes before a consonant it is pronounced “Ish” so our town Xcalak, is pronounced “Ish Kah lock”
The 'x' is usually pronounced between the 'sh' sound and the 'cs' sound.

Alberic, good thing he came to Lustria now in Warhammer 3 after the rumble moved to the Southlands.
Here's to your colonization efforts in Lustria. And hope you can ally with Markus and potentially get Empire units in your army. Outrider Cavalry and Empire Knights could be useful alongside your own Knights.
