Lil Shakz (the dude who came on when the Jersey sound of the beat jumped in and had the hand of God bar) was in the Hardest U18s Cypher 2022 by Blackbox and he was easily one of the coldest in it. It's a long cypher but definitely worth checking out with a reaction or just privately
Multiple people from within a 2 mile radius of my house, have collaborated with some of the biggest rappers (and artists in general) in the UK and even the USA. Yet still, most of them aren't that famous, because people don't give them a chance, just like other rappers in my 141 square mile city... Which probably explains why a lot of them have changed their styles and/or names multiple times, to try and get noticed. CY (formerly known as Crysis) in this 2:38, isn't from within a 2 mile radius of my house, he's more like 3-5 miles away, however... I agree on this. He's OK. Three of his original crew mates (Leejay, Jakus, and Lycan) from Up North Development aka UND are better imo, however they seem to be less active nowadays, after at least 10-15 years of trying. CY used to be more of a Grime style, and has only started doing this Drill style in the last year or two.

Just 1.5 miles from the world's first camera, the world's first TV, the world's first colour images, the only place in the world where you can watch Cinerama films etc. And also 1.5 to 2 miles from where films and TV shows are constantly being filmed... Bodies (2023) filmed in at least 5 Bradford locations came out in October 2023. Platform 7 (2023) filmed at Keighley Railway Station came out in December 2023. Upgraded (2024) filmed in Bradford City Hall, came out in February 2024. Six Triple Eight (2024) filmed in Little Germany, Bradford, will be out some time this year. Emmerdale (1972-present) filmed in Bradford City Hall multiple times this year as usual. Virdee is currently being filmed this month, and will be out in late 2024 or early 2025.
