As a Mavs fan, Rick Carlisle is a legend. In the early part of this game when it was closer, he always took timeouts right when OKC was gathering steam and shut it down. I feel like he deserves a lot of props for how he’s managing this Pacers team.

Wrong, The speed and pace of the Pacers is what made this a series. Carlisle is coaching them to play as fast as possible so OKC cant get set on defense and use their illegal 1980s tactics of bodying on the perimeter, arm slapping and hand checking. I've never seen a team get to play defense like that before this year. Since they banned it ofc. Caruso is the most blatant at doing it. And to top it off, SGA getting fantom calls on offense. Not as much in this series tho. Thank God.
This series was always MUCH closer than what media pundits originally advertised to everyone. The Pacers have had playoff games just like this since last postseason. Even when they made it to the championship of the NBA Cup last season against the Lakers. knew they were a real up-and-coming team. By the middle of March I absolutely believed we could win a championship. I don’t think many did outside Pacers nation. I really hope we can win a championship. I’ve wanted it for over 30 years now.

This series was always MUCH closer than what media pundits originally advertised to everyone. The Pacers have had playoff games just like this since last postseason. Even when they made it to the championship of the NBA Cup last season against the Lakers. knew they were a real up-and-coming team. Both team, once the postseason started, seemed equally talented to me.
We’re getting blessed with the first Game 7 since Cavs-Warriors in 2016. Lets hope these final 48 minutes of this NBA season on Sunday night is pure CINEMA. 🔥

Jason Kidd, Jason Terry, Tyson Chandler, Shawn Marrion, and JJ Barea all had major and consistent contributions while 2022 only saw Wiggs as a consistent player. Jordan POOLE was the next best player as Klay and Dray were absolutely garbage in 2022

I’ll be an honest Pacers fan. I didn’t either, and we still haven’t, but the start of our year was pretty rough. Beginning in January, we started to get healthy and figure it out. By the middle of March I absolutely believed we could win a championship. I don’t think many did outside Pacers nation. I really hope we can win a championship. I’ve wanted it for over 30 years now.
