I had no idea all 3 were getting released again…you are a godsend! Only saw Fellowship in theaters when I first came out this is awesome! Off chance do you know if they’re a one day showing or longer?
Me too, i only got tickets to rotk but that's fine, that's my favorite one. My friends have never seen any of em so we are watching the first two tonight and tomorrow and they get to see the extended edition of rotk in theaters for the first time viewing on Monday. Sooooo excited.
Me and my friends are watching two towers tonight, it's their first time, we are going through the trilogy. Also, we got seats to see rotk in theaters Monday. I've never seen any of em in theaters, and it's my friends first time seeing them period. It's gonna be an experience to be sure :)
The first half of 2024 has been very LotR-ific for me, in large part because of EFAP, while also rewatching the trilogy AND the entirety of the behind-the-scenes documentaries. And it really puts into perspective how much I love these films, and this world that Tolkien created, and Peter Jackson brought to the silver screen. It's the major experience that, even as an adult, by the end I always wish I could spend a little more time in this world. If anything, these past months helped to give me some perspective, as to why some people so desperately cling to so many IPs that have gone to shit, because they don't want to let go of the good times, yet all they get is bad. Even with all the shit that's come out after the mid-2000s related to Lord of the Rings, I can at least feel content with what we did get. Sure, the dreams of my youth, of having this big animated anthology, covering several of the stories of the Silmarillion, might never happen (especially with the current state of the industry), but I still have the films, the books, and the epic celestial proportions that are the two movie tie-in games, and the big grand-daddy of them all, The Third Age, babeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
I do love wolf's sadistic giggle as he sends people down the hell hole lol
It's his only pleasure in life
The last time I was this early, the entertainment industry still had some semblance of shame.
I see the joke there, you've never been early before.
Hollywood's never had shame
Man... I am honestly stoked to see the extended cuts in the theater this weekend.

I called my brother in to listen to the first joke and he stayed to listen to the whole thing :)

Memes bring me joy and make my diabetes go away, at least for a moment.
Earliest I've ever been for sure
One does not simply meme the Lord of The Rings 🧐
Can't wait til they get to The Four Kings!
Now I want a southern accent dub over for lord of the rings :/
I wanna hear every one of this panel reading the first chapter of Fellowship in an Alabama accent.
*I saw some things...*
LOCK BALLS
*LOCK BALLS!*
Early
I'm not going to lie. I'm really sick of these tiny Lord of the rings chunks
Don't watch them then???
There is an easy solution to that.
