My hardscapers were dreading making these cuts on pavers for a fire pit I’m building. I’m forwarding your video to them! Thanks for sharing and beautiful work!

Thanks for the video. It was exactly what I needed. I'm tiling a fountain today and although I've been tiling for 30+ years, have never tiled an arc like this. We mostly tile indoors. Backsplashes, feature walls...

Did you try a chalk line to mark the tiles where you wanna cut?

    • @HowToTileLikeaPro

Chalk wouldn't stick to this tile, since it's a high gloss to tile.

Looks amazing. Hope you charged a pretty penny for this job.
Definitely takes a ton of skill to do something like this. I don’t even think those top cuts were probably the hardest part. The outside is all full tiles right?

Good eye! Thanks! You're the 1st person who noticed that👏. Yes, since it's patterned tile,I didn't want to cut the outside perimeter tile👍. The fountain originally had precast, so had to float it all flat🤣. But the end result was definitely worth it🙌

@@HowToTileLikeaPro you gotta float that out perfect so everything fits perfect. That’s skill.
I’m a tile guy myself. What you’re doing is the furthest from amateur work. I wish jobs like this popped up where I live. I’m in the Midwest. We don’t see stuff like this often. Let alone outdoor work. It’s very rare. Different climates.
What are you grouting with on this type of outdoor stuff? Epoxy? Since it was a outdoor fountain, was any kind of water proofing required?

@@meetstepsisalcoholicdouche6167 Thanks for the compliments! Nice to meet another tile guy. Definitely interested in what the tile world is like in the Midwest! Yes, epoxy is best for fully submerged Grout, and I used Hydroban by Laticrete as a waterproof membrane 👌
