There is nothing like Gale ka Ghamak or sitar ka Ghamak. A note sliding to another note is ghamak. But we need to see what can be possible for the instrument. Slides are something to get by ears and applying it to playing. What is discussed here is a very basic version of slides. But practically slides can come from any note and one should try the best possible way to justify the sound.
