    Step 1: Surface Preparation
    Cleaning and preparation for the cementitous layer ( cement : sand ) 1:4 we can also add a waterproofing compound with mortar of ratio 200ml for 1 bag cement.

    Step 2: Lay Brickbat Layer
    Lay the brickbat on the mortar prepared in the first step with a gap of 15 to 20 mm according to the level marked and provided.
    Reference: IS 16557:2016
    Step 3: Apply Cement Mortar
    This will fill all the gaps of bricks, this will be done after 2 to 3 days of doing brickbat work so brickbat doesn't observe water of mortar that can create cracks.
    Step 4: Finish with Cement Plaster
    This will be the finish layer of brickbat waterproofing work for the terrace.
