  • Autodesk Nastran In-CAD uses the Autodesk Nastran solver for more accurate and faster nonlinear transient analysis. This type of analysis can include all types of nonlinearities at the same time. Some examples of non-linear behavior include displacements which cause loads to alter their distribution or magnitude, materials that change properties as they are loaded, and gaps which may open or close.

    Hi. I would like to ask what is meant by proximity based stiffness for the parameter slineslidetype. Does it mean the stiffness for each node is a variable that depends on the clearance?
