Ford shudder is a known issue, they first try to fix with sw. Next major issues on f150s is the cam phasers. Mine failed at 27k miles, luckily under warranty. My 2017 f150 had several transmisions but that one was a lease. My 2019 had engine issues but good transmission. Traded it in for a titan and havent looked back. They are great trucks, nissan is making a very bad choice to cancel it.

Wow that’s nuts, it just needs an update on the Titan and Nissan to play the numbers game like all the manufacturers on towing capacity. The XD can tow 14,000lbs no issue but Nissan caps it at 10,000 🤦🏽‍♂️

the transmission has been the only problem. from 10th gear back down to 1st gear and shifting hard and the revvs for no reason. we had a 2007 fx2 with ZERO issues.
transmission shop that rebuilt it ended up having MULTIPLE problems with 10 speeds to the point they said it's not repairable, only temporarily working. and those guys have a reputation for great work and transmission knowledge.

Sadly I got rid of it, after 28k miles a lot of issues started coming up. Didn’t even have a chance to make videos on it.
      1- 40-50mph whine
2- groaning coming from front end at low speeds
      3- shaking at 40-80mpg
4- transmission started shuddering like my ford
      5- long hard starts
6- front wheel bearing was replaced
      7- upper bal joints failed
      8- idler arm failed
      9- steering was feeling loose
10- rotors had to be replaced rusted and grinding
11- radio started freezing and resetting itself out of the blue.
It scared me to be honest, 1 year old and 33k miles when I finally let it go and so many issues. I bought back my 2017 ford and haven’t looked back.

@@Sun_Singh yeah lol that’s why I went back to my 17 for now. Everyone has a 5k issue 😂 so far the best contender is a 5.0 10speed f150. Apparently the transmission woes of the 3.5 aren’t there on a 5.0. I have a friend with a 21 5.0 60k miles and only thing he had issue with was drivers side window would go up then down as if something was tripping the safety. Other than that it’s been oil changes. I’ve driven it for a week and can confirm it was smooth as glass and the transmission did not act like my ecoboost and averaged 19mpg.

I have owned Chevy 2006 and 2008. The cylinder deactivation caused issues in the 08, there were.issues woth tbe 06 thus the switch in 08. Witjin 4 years and 80 thlusand miles engine reolaced(out of warranty of course). They were the 5.3 litre v8s. 2014 went to Ford F150 V8. Engine was solid but began having electric issues on and off. Finally 2019 5th generation Ram. Beautiful interior hemi was pretty solid but battery and sensor for battery went out at 8 thlusamd miles. More electrical.issues. parking sensors would come on and slam truck in to park. Titan since then and no issues yet. Sad to hear they discontinuing it. Hope your truck takes care of you. So far only complaint...cheapy plastic interior especially on top interior kf doors and fake wood on the platinum. Otherwise been solid for over 2 years. Good luck with yoir XD and may it keep you going. Friends have Titans with 200 to 300 plis thousand miles. Rarely any issues

Bought a 21 PRO4X! Then bought a 22 F-250 Platinum 7.3 SuperDuty the verynext year. Didn't like the gas mileage on the Nissan whatsoever. Not a fan of a CVT in a pick-up truck. Nor getting recalls notices without a fix. It's ashame the Titan's weren't a bad looking vehicle and supported American workers. Not to mention, there families and local economy's.....

    • @newenglandrvadventures

The reason we didn’t get the f250 was the gas mileage. We average 16 in our Titan and every one we know with a 7.3 claimed 12-14mpg. The Titan doesn’t have a CVT it has a Mercedes Benz sourced design 9g trounced transmission. It’s a solid transmission rated for over 500ft-lbs of torque.
The factory will keep going so those people will be taken care of.
