how do we consider a watch a "tactical military smartwatch"? 1. it tells you the time and date 2. it is ruggedized 3. it has built in compass 4. it has built in altimeter *5. it has built in barometer, thermometer, speedometer 4. it has gps tracking and navigation capabilities 5. it has atleast topographic map 6. it does shows your actual location in mgrs or lat/long format 7. it has long battery life.. workout, fitness tracking and messsage/call notification features are just freebies feel free to add some...i'm open for enlightenment
And here I was thinking the tactical watches were full with elite commando functions like a laser to call in an air strike, self destruction button, a speed dial to the command center or a bomb diffusing quick guide.
Your video is good, but you should also consider, vibration and shock resistance structured watches, I also have came across alot of problems with a touchscreen compact watches, their screen may flicker or even not work after 5-6 years, you cannot design a watch so compact to be very effective and effecient to shocks, you need spacing and allowance for vibrations, you did not even include any Gshock, the problem with colored screen is they gave up after many years, with my Gshock watch I can bring it even as a survival watch that would go for months of battery life.
Thank you for your comment and suggestion! You raise a great point about the importance of shock and vibration resistance in structured watches, especially for those who need to rely on their watches in tough and unpredictable environments. I agree that touchscreen compact watches may not always be the most durable option, and that certain types of watches, like Gshock, are designed specifically to withstand extreme shocks and vibrations. While the video focused on a particular type of watch, I appreciate your input and will certainly keep this in mind for future videos on this topic. Thank you again for your thoughtful comment!
@@-TacticalGear Me and my wife have used some of these samsung smartwatches but they all failed after 4years, its really hard your watch suddenly dont work anymore, I alao had used the older garmin watches that also gaved up the screen, all screen problems, thats why I finally decided to go Gshock, my GBDH1000 may not be the smartest watch there but its smart enough for me and the toughness and solar power is unbeatable, i dont need to use my charger cable again as long as you do good power save settings, steps counter is enough, gps and hr monitoring is just a plus for me, but imagine a watch that you dont need to charge again and very durable, I think in a zombie apocalype I rather forget all my gadgets BUT not my GBDH1000.
So which one is the best and how long will each watch usually last. Will it be like gschock and last a lifetime or couple of years like any other smartwatch
Thank you for your comment and question! It's difficult to say which watch is the "best" as it ultimately depends on your personal needs and preferences. Some people prioritize certain features, such as battery life or durability, while others may prioritize design or additional functions. As for how long each watch will last, it can vary depending on usage and care. Some watches, like Gshock, are designed to last a lifetime and are known for their durability, while others may need to be replaced or repaired after a few years. It's always a good idea to do your research and read reviews before making a purchase, and to take good care of your watch to ensure it lasts as long as possible. I hope that helps!

How is Garmin 7 first watch for paying i haw old Vivoactive 3 hee has that future before peying was able and scrolling. And now with Instinct 2X, solar after 7 ares they progres 15% like Apple .
Thank you for sharing your opinion about the Tactix 7 Pro Ballistic Edition! It's great to hear that you have found a watch that you consider to be the best. The Tactix 7 Pro Ballistic Edition is known for its durable design and advanced features, including ballistics and other tactical tools. It's a great option for those who need a watch that can keep up with their active lifestyle and demanding activities. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
Thank you for your comment and suggestion! The Garmin Instinct Crossover Tactical Solar Edition is a great watch that offers many features and benefits, including solar charging, tactical-specific functions, and rugged durability. I appreciate your input and will keep this watch in mind for future videos on this topic. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I apologize for the mistake and any confusion it may have caused. You are correct that the Garmin Tactix 7 is not the first watch to come with Garmin Pay. In fact, several other Garmin watches, such as the Forerunner 945 and the Fenix 6, also have Garmin Pay. Thank you again for pointing out the error.
Smart watches for combat situations, that's laughable... smart watches aren't useful in any way for that. Measure distance using age old step method, learn to read a map using 6, 8 and 10 figure grid references, and use a good compass.... no recharging necessary with less chance of the tech failing you

I recently purchased the Garmin fenix 7x pro sapphire solar primarily for work and it does everything plus
Ordered my Garmin Instinct 2s yesterday and happy waiting,
I don't do any Tactical or Extreme things, just lazy to charge my Fitbit.
Are these tactical? Not sure if you mentioned that
Are there any strategic watches out there ?

How about a review of tactical Rambo knives?
Sounds like a generic commercial instead of a review. You never had them in your hands. The voice over is uhm monotonous. Computer generated?..
Ai generated voice which reads the product description
The Garmin Tactix 7 is certainly NOT the 1st watch to come with Garmin Pay. You might want to check your facts before recording your video next time.

The falcon is just a fancier version of the trex2

All except Garmin are just JOKE not tactical watches. No NV compatible means not for MIL/LE.
