Wow amazingly simple explanation. God is both loving & merciful as our Father, as well as Just & righteous as Lord that He cannot allow sin to not be unaccounted for. Christs sacrifice is the culmination of who God is: Loving that He would free us from sin completely through His grace, as well as atone for sin justly through His worthy sacrifice.

I don't feel the need to punish others who on very rare occasion have done something to me I consider wrong. So why does God? He asks us to forgive others 70 times 7 times but he can't forgive once? Totally illogical.
1. There is an irony in asking humans to commit a sin, i.e., murder through crucifixion, so everyone could be saved or forgiven from sin. 2. If you asked me for forgiveness and I said, "Yes, if you kill my dog" or "Yes, if you kill me," no one would think either of these actions is justice. I have trouble understanding how punishing innocents whether humans, animals, or God is somehow just.
That's why it's called sin offering. It's like when u ask someone for forgiveness, u give them gifts or fruits as a show of sincerity ( which we don't normally do of course ). God requires blood for a sin offering. I forgot what the blood represent, but it has a meaning and importance hence God requires it and why it isn't allowed to be eaten. If we feel guilty of taking the lives of animals, then might as well not sin. But if u still sin after knowing u would need to sacrifice an animal for an attonement, aren't u guilty urself for causing something to die for u? Well we all know we could not stop sinning. We can refrain from time to time, but as long as we are in our dead bodies, we would eventually sin.
Because God cursed Adam and Eve in the first place.. the first man must have been innocent and must mot subject to cursed, they should have been warned since they dont have yet the idea of sin and punishment.. also if adam and eve commit sin then why even animal and plants have to suffer and be subjected to dearh also like mankind? God doesn't exist. The founding principle of creationism proves it "something can't come from nothing". Man is something, materialistic (observable by touch) thus, according to the law of creationism whatever created man must be something (materialistic) as well. Anyone who disagrees with this conclusion is dishonest. God came from the minds of man. That's why you can't prove his existence scientifically. He doesn't exist in reality. If Jesus is God and God is omnipresent, then why are you awaiting his second coming, if he's everywhere at the same time, all of the time (omnipresent). Why is Jesus coming and going if he's everywhere at the same time? Can you explain that?

John, I am super impressed with your multilingual skills. I envy that about you... in a good way. Thank you for answering this question which I too have been asked in the past. By God's grace, I was able to give essentially the same answer pointing out the manifold nature of God's righteousness. I also pointed out the idea that in our own suffering due to the fall of humanity, we somehow grow in communion with Christ, who also suffered on our behalf. This idea was important since the person asking the question also added a related question - "If all suffering and death is a direct result of man's fall into sin, and God's subsequent curse upon His creation, but He then sent His Son who paid the price for our sin fully, why do we still suffer? Why do we still eventually die?" I suppose there maybe multiple ways one might respond to this question. My thoughts have been that in our sufferings in this life, we in someway (however limited, but still real) can comprehend the price he paid and thus His love for us, which then makes it possible for us to truly love God in return - making for a real love relationship in which we know this righteous and loving God more fully and completely, which is the very purpose for which mankind was created. To be in perfect loving communion with the source of all being. I'd be interested in your thoughts on that question.
So... I am still having a hard time with this answer. I understand that God needs to be just and that sin needs to be repaid. But if sin is a spiritual offense, how does a physical death atone for that? If we atone for our sins through confession and repentance, and since we are condemned to die no matter what, why would our individual repentance and physical deaths not be enough for our sins?
Living in this age learning about Jesus from some 2000 years ago, it's "stupidly magnanimous" how God loves us by choosing to suffer and die on the Cross. I mean, I wouldn't be convinced if he chose not to die. Because it's an ultimate price to pay for a human. I often imagine myself if I could choose to suffer and die like that if my family depended on it, but I can never convince myself that I can because I cannot imagine the immense physical and mental pain that would bring to me. But Jesus did.

I thought of something that somehow cleared up my mind a little bit. I think even though He is God, He also wants humans to freely choose what to do. And if He changed something in us, then we wouldn't be authentic humans. If He would've created us again, we would've made the same mistake.. maybe... We as humans are hypocrites in that as a parent..a child does wrong..you rebuke or punish that child and teach that child the right direction and yet GOD AS A FATHER HAS HIS WAY AND HAS SHOWN US THE RIGHT WAY BUT because we think we know better...we choose our own wrong path and yet we know there are repercussions in everything we do but blame GOD FOR OUR OWN DOINGS!
The answer to that question is mixed with being bought at a price, being adopted into God’s family so that we are His children. From a human perspective think of a mother’s love that would die for her child - or a father’s protective instinct to do the same.
Forgiveness means thinking mercy over wrath , and we all know that our head use blood to think so when we used blood to think wrath against someone who offend as, what will we do when he repent and ask you to forgive ,as we all know we first pour new and clean blood from our mercy cup to cover the wrath blood which contains destruction materials. I have a question for you. Why did God create humanity know full well that we would be sinners, feel pain, loss, go through terrible times and suffer? What was the point? He knew even before He created us what we would do. What was going to happen.
That is a good question. I am going to try to answer it. Maybe someone else can answer it better. Perhaps it will open up a dialogue. God formed man to be in fellowship with him. He also was proving his goodness and justice to the angels who had already fallen. If man chose him despite becoming sinners, experiencing pain, loss, suffering, it would show all of creation that he was good and just when the angels, who had fellowship with him and were not experiencing any of those things, rebelled and were cast out of heaven. See Job chapter 1, especially verses 7-11, and 2 Chronicles 16:9. God desires to bless us as we follow him. He will carry us through any trials that come our way. Satan desires to cause us to rebel and be cursed.
if it helps God wanted free creatures,not robots to love Him and obey Him so He created the act of freedom to chose to love Him or to go our way. Love by definition must be freely given otherwise it would not be love so He created a realm with free choices and with that made a universe for the best possible way to save as much people as He could without forcing anyone. The ultimate answer is because God allows necessary evils for a greater good. God did not want those evils, but He permits them knowing that a greater good will come out of what He plans to do with it all.
If a murderer is sentenced to death, what righteous judge would ever accept instead the death of an innocent person who has lived a life of a saint as a satisfactory replacement? That's exactly what the Pharisees did to Jesus. THEY demanded the murder of Jesus and freed a murderer in his place at the cross, not God. There's something very wrong about how mainstream Christianity interprets God's character.

Yes, this does help. Plz let me add some extra info. The wages of sin is death, Jesus paid the fine, In the courtroom, the judge cannot let you go, what if you repent? Good says the judge, you should be sorry, but you must pay for your crimes. That's where Jesus comes in, He paid the bill, so the judge (God) can legally let us go free. Remember, the sanctuary setting is God's throne, His throne is the mercy seat, but the wages of sin must be paid, hence the sacrifice of lambs (or Jesus) . We must repent, yes, but put your faith and trust in Jesus, like a parachute, you dont just believe in the parachute, you put your full trust in it. Hope this helps. Yes, God can forgive just like that. Moreover note that God hates human sacrifices and that one cannot bear sins of someone else. If you want forgiveness, just turn to God.
There are some things God cannot do, he said. God cannot lie. But an eternal being, an immortal being cannot die. The NT is clear that Jesus died. It refers to him as a man. It says he died and was raised by God.
Why does Jesus have to be God in order for His sacrifise to save us? The early christians didn't seem to think it's necessary. They always said "God AND the Messiah, Jesus Christ, our Lord". Christ means the "anointed one" in greek (I know that because I'm greek😅). Like, God chose Him and anointed him for this mission. It doesn't mean he's God himself! Even if Jesus isn't God, He could also save us if He was completely without sin. Born of a virgin (so without the first sin of Adam and Eve), and blessed with the spirit of God (so sinless his whole life). You forgot to tell that God is holy. sin cannot exist together with a holy God just as a piece of ice can not exist in fire so no, sinners can not just be forgiven . Sin has to be taken away, removed from precense of God.

It’s a good try but , there are some faults . For example David said . A broken and a contrite spirit god will not despise. Another scripture says , if we humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways then god will forgive us. Mind you , these verses were said in the Old Testament. Even then god only required that we be sorry for our sins and repent. A sacrifice only given for unintentional sins . And we have completely massacred this teaching , which is why most Jews don’t believe in Christ. Remember, we can’t say something about the New Testament and Christ , that wasnt mentioned in the Old Testament, everything has to align. Did Christ die in stead of us ? Or was his death for our benefit? It’s question that needs to be asked and I think it’s the latters. In fact there is the three fold aspect of Christ’s death, and it doesn’t involve taking the punishment for someone else’s sin , because the same Bible says the soul that sins he shall die. These thee aspects are; 1. It was his mission to institute a new covenant . He fulfilled the old and was about to put in place the new , the scripture refers to a testator , who’s will and testament only comes into effect when he dies. 2. He had to gain power over death . Meaning, by rising from it. Which in fact ties in with point one Now the cruel nature of his death was just the devil torturing him . As a means of trying to get him not to die. Also Jesus had to be tempted in every way we are . In fact being scourged and nailed to the cross was his final test and temptation. He was tesoted by the pleasures of sin now he was tespmted to not complete his mission which through pain. How many times have we given up on exercising because it hurts, it’s the same thing , the devil was trying to get him to give up on the plan of dying . Because the devil knew what it meant. Answer is Jesus had to die . In order to write out names on his will and testament . He also died to condemn sin in the flesh . And in doing so rising up with power over sin . Which was in the will .

He is almighty and powerful in a relative sense, not in an absolute sense for the most part. Being the most powerful Being ever has to have some value right? There are certain areas where God is infinite in power, but he is not like that in every area (like the areas of evil).
Yeah but who made the rules? Oh wait it’s god and you still have to accept Jesus and god and you have to live to the best of your ability. If he was forgiving he would have the “sacrifice” done and make peoples decision’s what makes them righteous if you make the rules you have the rights to change them. Angels are immortal, he didn't just want to erase lucifer from EXISTENCE , otherwise the other angels would question him. So God came up with a plan to make sure evil never rises in heaven again. The reason he didn't take the tree out of the Garden is BECAUSE of free will. He gave us a choice to obey him or not, he didn't create robots that would have to obey him, he wanted people who would choose to obey him and love him.

From the standpoint of God, redemption is not necessary; everyone is already forgiven from on high. Jesus' teachings on forgiveness is about forgiving ourselves and others, so that we can move on and not remain stuck in a pain of the past. Jesus did not come to redeem humanity from Satan, that would required Jesus to annihilate Satan; who is perfectly designed to do what he does. Even if Satan could be annihilated, Jesus would not annihilate what God created. Jesus came to teach humanity how to free themselves, to teach humanity how to conquer Satan and return to Love. Satan, through the voice in our head, tempts us to go against our divine nature; to go against Love. Satan, through the voice in our head, tempts us to act selfishly and short-sightedly to do what is in his self-interest; rather than what is best for the whole to which we are intimately and inextricably connected. When we go against the whole and harm others, we also harm ourselves. Sin is like hitting ourselves, because we also suffer when we cause others to suffer. This is one of humanity's primary lessons. Which is why: do unto others as you would have them do unto you, work so well as a guideline.

I would think that Jesus is God, even though he is called the son of God and The Father God is called The Father. There obviously more to this, as although Jesus makes clear distinctions between him and The Father, he also states, "I and the Father are one.” John 10:30. So the question goes back to square one which is the reliability of the Gospels, whether they have contradictions, made up stories, whether it was exaggerated through out history or whether Jesus was a liar or a lunatic. Aside from the reliability of the Gospels, which I hold the view that they may just be reliable.. (as I'm talking from the perspective of a person who lacks faith in what he knows) your question as to why Jesus asked if the Father had abandoned him is satisfied in the book of Psalms chpt 22. It is a prophetic foreshadowing of the crucifixion.. don't take my word for it compare the gospel accounts and Psalms 22, now this begs the question, how can The Father abandon the Son if they are one (John 10:30), well if you study that Psalm real closely you'd have the realisation that the person who wrote that Psalm (David) never claimed God straight up abandoned him.. it is expressed more in the sense of the feeling of abandonment compared to actual abandonment. Jesus himself states that the Father (on the crucifixion) will not abandon him, Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you (the disciples) will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me. John 16:32. So in John chapter 16, Jesus is talking to the disciples and saying that they will abandon him and that The Father won't, the only time we see the disciples abandon Jesus entirely, going their own ways, was during the crucifixion. So to conclude we must remember that Jesus was fully man and fully God, otherwise how can he claim that his life how we ought to live, if he had a supernatural ability to not succumb to the desires of the flesh.. and he Has to be fully God because, first he claims to be God (John 10:30) and second, he, or least the disciples claim he rose from the dead.. and died for this belief (that many believe they made up) so if a book claims that this guy rose from the dead.. we have to look at the reliability of the book and the cause of the death of this man who "rose from the dead". Which is up to you to do if this truly concerns your eternity.
*OFF TOPIC* (read this if you have spare time or are concerned enough to do so) I just express my idea about the trinity which takes a sharp and wide turn branching of to the law of human nature You know I find in it interesting that the traditional view held by Christians (not Judaism) is that humans have flesh, soul and spirit. I find this interesting because it is, in the light of the Christian doctrine, a Trinity of it's own. Here's what I mean, Our flesh is sinful and corrupt showing partiality to all the wrong instincts. Our Spirit on the other opposes the desires of our flesh, and our soul is in a sense a battleground as it is the part of us that is condemned or preserved (supposedly) after we die. I would say our soul is the law of human nature seperating us from mere animals. The law of human nature, at its core states that we expect a sort of decent behaviour from others, like for example, we expect a soldier to be selfless and sacrifice, to die in war than to save himself and flee. This law of human nature differs from, let's say the law of gravity, as when I drop a stone it has no choice but to merely fall, that's just how it is. But for humans we have the choice to either obey the law that expects a sort of behaviour from us or to not obey it. Now some atheists say that this law merely evolved for our own convenience/benefit, but I don't think that's true.. for example, it's winter and you come across a frozen lake, you see a child drowing as the ice below his feet have shattered.. in this case, you have two instincts, one to just ignore it (as you wouldn't have the risk of dying aswell, afterall if you didn't save that child, no one's gonna know) or to save the child (even though it means you could die) The law of human nature helps you decide the right choice (not the safer choice, but the right choice) From this we can infer that, this law exists beyond human existence (on the level of maths) as whether we exist or not it is still gonna be there as it is above us and the only way it can express itself is through and intelligent brain, pointing to a creator. The law expects us to do what we would want a stranger to do if he were in our position, which is why I think Jesus said “Judge not, that you be not judged. Matthew 7:1, I'm not saying that we shouldn't judge afterall, logic and reasoning and based on judgement, something we see Jesus do. I'm merely stating that the higher the expectation of strangers we have in accordance with the law, the more burden and misery we bear. Hence, why stoicism works and why a spoiled brat bursts into tears at the idea of responsibility (aka past me).

Okay so he cant overlook the original sin despite being all loving/powerful. So he chooses to sacrifice himself so *someone* is punished and justice can be served. Great. But.... jesus suffered for a very limited time whereas humanity would suffer infinitely. For the sacrifice of jesus to be worth even one human soul, hed need to be in hell forever for us. But he isnt and he didn't. So not only did he not really sacrifice himself since he got out of it because of his father, but he didnt even really pay our price since divine judgment will still rain down on us regardless of his sacrifice or not. Wouldnt true justice and love have humanity finally freed of the taint and thus a proper saving rather than one that depends on the constant gratitude for a sacrifice that for all intents and purposes was not at all a sacrifice when compared to the people already in/going to hell and their truly infinite suffering?

Justice doesn't mean that somebody needs to suffer justice means that the guilty person must suffer. If you punish the innocent person instead of the guilty one this is not justice. Anyway I think that you think that justice is very important. But if you are newborn child in Christ you don't care about justice u care about saving people life. I think the justice is a construct of People. They have sadistic will for revenge and they call it "justice" . So question still stands. Why God has killed Jesus?

I don't feel the need to punish others who on very rare occasion have done something to me I consider wrong. So why does God? He asks us to forgive others 70 times 7 times but he can't forgive once? Totally illogical.

1. There is an irony in asking humans to commit a sin, i.e., murder through crucifixion, so everyone could be saved or forgiven from sin.
2. If you asked me for forgiveness and I said, "Yes, if you kill my dog" or "Yes, if you kill me," no one would think either of these actions is justice. I have trouble understanding how punishing innocents whether humans, animals, or God is somehow just.
That's why it's called sin offering.
It's like when u ask someone for forgiveness, u give them gifts or fruits as a show of sincerity ( which we don't normally do of course ).
God requires blood for a sin offering. I forgot what the blood represent, but it has a meaning and importance hence God requires it and why it isn't allowed to be eaten.
If we feel guilty of taking the lives of animals, then might as well not sin. But if u still sin after knowing u would need to sacrifice an animal for an attonement, aren't u guilty urself for causing something to die for u?

Man is something, materialistic (observable by touch) thus, according to the law of creationism whatever created man must be something (materialistic) as well. Thank you for answering this question which I too have been asked in the past. By God's grace, I was able to give essentially the same answer pointing out the manifold nature of God's righteousness. I also pointed out the idea that in our own suffering due to the fall of humanity, we somehow grow in communion with Christ, who also suffered on our behalf. This idea was important since the person asking the question also added a related question - "If all suffering and death is a direct result of man's fall into sin, and God's subsequent curse upon His creation, but He then sent His Son who paid the price for our sin fully, why do we still suffer? Why do we still eventually die?"
I suppose there maybe multiple ways one might respond to this question. My thoughts have been that in our sufferings in this life, we in someway (however limited, but still real) can comprehend the price he paid and thus His love for us, which then makes it possible for us to truly love God in return - making for a real love relationship in which we know this righteous and loving God more fully and completely, which is the very purpose for which mankind was created. To be in perfect loving communion with the source of all being. I'd be interested in your thoughts on that question.

So... I am still having a hard time with this answer. I understand that God needs to be just and that sin needs to be repaid. But if sin is a spiritual offense, how does a physical death atone for that? If we atone for our sins through confession and repentance, and since we are condemned to die no matter what, why would our individual repentance and physical deaths not be enough for our sins?

Living in this age learning about Jesus from some 2000 years ago, it's "stupidly magnanimous" how God loves us by choosing to suffer and die on the Cross. I mean, I wouldn't be convinced if he chose not to die. Because it's an ultimate price to pay for a human. I often imagine myself if I could choose to suffer and die like that if my family depended on it, but I can never convince myself that I can because I cannot imagine the immense physical and mental pain that would bring to me. But Jesus did.

And if He changed something in us, then we wouldn't be authentic humans. If He would've created us again, we would've made the same mistake.. maybe... I have a question for you. Why did God create humanity know full well that we would be sinners, feel pain, loss, go through terrible times and suffer? What was the point? He knew even before He created us what we would do. What was going to happen.
That is a good question. I am going to try to answer it. Maybe someone else can answer it better. Perhaps it will open up a dialogue. God formed man to be in fellowship with him. He also was proving his goodness and justice to the angels who had already fallen. If man chose him despite becoming sinners, experiencing pain, loss, suffering, it would show all of creation that he was good and just when the angels, who had fellowship with him and were not experiencing any of those things, rebelled and were cast out of heaven. See Job chapter 1, especially verses 7-11, and 2 Chronicles 16:9. God desires to bless us as we follow him. He will carry us through any trials that come our way. Satan desires to cause us to rebel and be cursed.

In the courtroom, the judge cannot let you go, what if you repent? Good says the judge, you should be sorry, but you must pay for your crimes.
That's where Jesus comes in, He paid the bill, so the judge (God) can legally let us go free.
Remember, the sanctuary setting is God's throne, His throne is the mercy seat, but the wages of sin must be paid, hence the sacrifice of lambs (or Jesus) .
We must repent, yes, but put your faith and trust in Jesus, like a parachute, you dont just believe in the parachute, you put your full trust in it.

Why does Jesus have to be God in order for His sacrifise to save us? The early christians didn't seem to think it's necessary. They always said "God AND the Messiah, Jesus Christ, our Lord". Christ means the "anointed one" in greek (I know that because I'm greek😅). Like, God chose Him and anointed him for this mission. It doesn't mean he's God himself! Even if Jesus isn't God, He could also save us if He was completely without sin. Born of a virgin (so without the first sin of Adam and Eve), and blessed with the spirit of God (so sinless his whole life). Why do we just assume that God had to come dowm here HIMSELF and "kill himself" for us? It seems upsurd to me..

It’s a good try but , there are some faults . For example David said . A broken and a contrite spirit god will not despise. Another scripture says , if we humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways then god will forgive us. Mind you , these verses were said in the Old Testament. Even then god only required that we be sorry for our sins and repent. A sacrifice only given for unintentional sins . And we have completely massacred this teaching , which is why most Jews don’t believe in Christ. Remember, we can’t say something about the New Testament and Christ , that wasnt mentioned in the Old Testament, everything has to align. Did Christ die in stead of us ? Or was his death for our benefit? It’s question that needs to be asked and I think it’s the latters. In fact there is the three fold aspect of Christ’s death, and it doesn’t involve taking the punishment for someone else’s sin , because the same Bible says the soul that sins he shall die. These thee aspects are;
1. It was his mission to institute a new covenant . He fulfilled the old and was about to put in place the new , the scripture refers to a testator , who’s will and testament only comes into effect when he dies.
2. He had to gain power over death . Meaning, by rising from it. Which in fact ties in with point one
Now the cruel nature of his death was just the devil torturing him . As a means of trying to get him not to die.
Also Jesus had to be tempted in every way we are . In fact being scourged and nailed to the cross was his final test and temptation. He was tesoted by the pleasures of sin now he was tespmted to not complete his mission which through pain. How many times have we given up on exercising because it hurts, it’s the same thing , the devil was trying to get him to give up on the plan of dying . Because the devil knew what it meant.
Answer is Jesus had to die . In order to write out names on his will and testament . He also died to condemn sin in the flesh . And in doing so rising up with power over sin . Which was in the will .
Of course a real 'Justice' would be able to find people guilty ,of whatever mythical 'crimes' they are accused , and accept such mitigation as is reasonable, without committing Hari Kari.

Of course God can forgive; "Matthew 6:14- For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you". Jesus died for mankind . He did exactly what he intended to do and accomplished redemption. Read John 3:16 you see that God "so loved the world" In Hebrew 2:9 Jesus taste death for mankind", and in 1 John the scripture says Jesus was and He "is" the propitiation for the whole world" -1John 2:2- And He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." God didn't create sin, he gave us free will, If free will exist, people will ultimately sin..
Angels are immortal, he didn't just want to erase lucifer from EXISTENCE , otherwise the other angels would question him. So God came up with a plan to make sure evil never rises in heaven again. The reason he didn't take the tree out of the Garden is BECAUSE of free will. He gave us a choice to obey him or not, he didn't create robots that would have to obey him, he wanted people who would choose to obey him and love him.

Why did Jesus prayed for someone to save him from death?

I would think that Jesus is God, even though he is called the son of God and The Father God is called The Father. There obviously more to this, as although Jesus makes clear distinctions between him and The Father, he also states, "I and the Father are one.”
John 10:30. So the question goes back to square one which is the reliability of the Gospels, whether they have contradictions, made up stories, whether it was exaggerated through out history or whether Jesus was a liar or a lunatic. Aside from the reliability of the Gospels, which I hold the view that they may just be reliable.. (as I'm talking from the perspective of a person who lacks faith in what he knows) your question as to why Jesus asked if the Father had abandoned him is satisfied in the book of Psalms chpt 22. It is a prophetic foreshadowing of the crucifixion.. don't take my word for it compare the gospel accounts and Psalms 22, now this begs the question, how can The Father abandon the Son if they are one (John 10:30), well if you study that Psalm real closely you'd have the realisation that the person who wrote that Psalm (David) never claimed God straight up abandoned him.. it is expressed more in the sense of the feeling of abandonment compared to actual abandonment. Jesus himself states that the Father (on the crucifixion) will not abandon him, Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you (the disciples) will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me.
John 16:32. So in John chapter 16, Jesus is talking to the disciples and saying that they will abandon him and that The Father won't, the only time we see the disciples abandon Jesus entirely, going their own ways, was during the crucifixion. So to conclude we must remember that Jesus was fully man and fully God, otherwise how can he claim that his life how we ought to live, if he had a supernatural ability to not succumb to the desires of the flesh.. and he Has to be fully God because, first he claims to be God (John 10:30) and second, he, or least the disciples claim he rose from the dead.. and died for this belief (that many believe they made up) so if a book claims that this guy rose from the dead.. we have to look at the reliability of the book and the cause of the death of this man who "rose from the dead". Which is up to you to do if this truly concerns your eternity.

*OFF TOPIC* (read this if you have spare time or are concerned enough to do so) I just express my idea about the trinity which takes a sharp and wide turn branching of to the law of human nature
You know I find in it interesting that the traditional view held by Christians (not Judaism) is that humans have flesh, soul and spirit. I find this interesting because it is, in the light of the Christian doctrine, a Trinity of it's own. Here's what I mean, Our flesh is sinful and corrupt showing partiality to all the wrong instincts. Our Spirit on the other opposes the desires of our flesh, and our soul is in a sense a battleground as it is the part of us that is condemned or preserved (supposedly) after we die. I would say our soul is the law of human nature seperating us from mere animals.
The law of human nature, at its core states that we expect a sort of decent behaviour from others, like for example, we expect a soldier to be selfless and sacrifice, to die in war than to save himself and flee. This law of human nature differs from, let's say the law of gravity, as when I drop a stone it has no choice but to merely fall, that's just how it is. But for humans we have the choice to either obey the law that expects a sort of behaviour from us or to not obey it. Now some atheists say that this law merely evolved for our own convenience/benefit, but I don't think that's true.. for example, it's winter and you come across a frozen lake, you see a child drowing as the ice below his feet have shattered.. in this case, you have two instincts, one to just ignore it (as you wouldn't have the risk of dying aswell, afterall if you didn't save that child, no one's gonna know) or to save the child (even though it means you could die) The law of human nature helps you decide the right choice (not the safer choice, but the right choice) From this we can infer that, this law exists beyond human existence (on the level of maths) as whether we exist or not it is still gonna be there as it is above us and the only way it can express itself is through and intelligent brain, pointing to a creator. The law expects us to do what we would want a stranger to do if he were in our position, which is why I think Jesus said “Judge not, that you be not judged.
Matthew 7:1, I'm not saying that we shouldn't judge afterall, logic and reasoning and based on judgement, something we see Jesus do. I'm merely stating that the higher the expectation of strangers we have in accordance with the law, the more burden and misery we bear. Hence, why stoicism works and why a spoiled brat bursts into tears at the idea of responsibility (aka past me).

Okay so he cant overlook the original sin despite being all loving/powerful. So he chooses to sacrifice himself so *someone* is punished and justice can be served. Great. But.... jesus suffered for a very limited time whereas humanity would suffer infinitely. For the sacrifice of jesus to be worth even one human soul, hed need to be in hell forever for us. But he isnt and he didn't. So not only did he not really sacrifice himself since he got out of it because of his father, but he didnt even really pay our price since divine judgment will still rain down on us regardless of his sacrifice or not. Wouldnt true justice and love have humanity finally freed of the taint and thus a proper saving rather than one that depends on the constant gratitude for a sacrifice that for all intents and purposes was not at all a sacrifice when compared to the people already in/going to hell and their truly infinite suffering?

I am sorry, but your answer is not satisfying. You simply said that God cannot forgive without sharing the blood. You are talking about justice. But the way your defining justice is incorrect. Justice doesn't mean that somebody needs to suffer justice means that the guilty person must suffer. If you punish the innocent person instead of the guilty one this is not justice. Anyway I think that you think that justice is very important. But if you are newborn child in Christ you don't care about justice u care about saving people life. I think the justice is a construct of People. They have sadistic will for revenge and they call it "justice" . So question still stands. Why God has killed Jesus?
