This is a magnificent build and madification, I'm speechless looking at it, and it just really inspires me to want to scratch build. (I would still consider a kit, but not fibreglass)

Hi Alan, Do you want to build from scratch or a kit? Building from scratch is cheaper, but requires a lot more time. -ed

@@crownvalleytrans Hi, firstly thanks for taking the time to get back to me! I'd consider both, a kit would have to be a timber kit. On balance I'd prefer the scratch route, I don't have so much cash to throw around but I am patient, methodical and good with my hands. Would be super grateful for anything you can suggest!

Here's the frame kit to get started that I would recommend modellers-workshop.com/modellers-workshop-mw107-j-class-1937-ranger-116-scale-laser-cut-frame-set-total-length-102/ I can share a copy of Weetamoe's plans, but you'll be cutting out every rib individually from door skin material and would require a lot of man hours. Here's a build video of that process: ruclips.net/video/i0luxQcGC6M/видео.htmlsi=sd4g7K72Q-WgO6IB If your serious read this: amyajclass.com/building-a-j-class-model @@alannewman85
