Yes- so as you continue to work on straddle back- take note during your entrances- the first pole to come under your arm pit or across your back is going to be underneath- it is associated with the opposite leg- so typically if the right foot is in front (for say split roll up entrances) then it will be the pole in the left armpit that is closest to the back- making the pole in the right armpit attached to the left foot the one that rests on top.
Oh yes, that can be tricky! Well there are alot of entrances to get the X on the back. I have two different tutorials posted for that aspect. But if you are putting it on the standard way (crossing the fabrics behind you) be sure to keep your ankles together, because if you are lettings your ankles pull apart, you are creating more tension on the X. The second thing is to keep your core tight. Try not to arch your back as you lose power that way. Then shrug the silks around your shoulders first, then reach your arms around. I will post a tutorial for this.
@@aerialesteem um I’m not sure me and my dad put it up alone without someone doing it for us and it works perfectly I do lessons and yeah I’m sorry I’d not know
I would start with a different tutorial. I have some of them labeled on the cover but they are all labeled by level in the description box. In my “fundamentals” playlist you can find beginner tutorials. Getting footlocks even can be tricky in the beginning! Keeping your supporting leg (the one already in a footlock) and the leg you are wrapping straight, after wrapping around the foot pull the slack from knee to hip and then finish off footlock. That should get you pretty close to even every time!
Thank you for the feedback! I will add in slow mo in the future. What part are you specifically having trouble around? Perhaps I can help answer a question for you here!
