Thanks Aaron! It’s definitely nice as a beginner to have options to get going right away with microscopy. I would love if you put together a video on different spore shapes and sizes. It’s sometimes hard to tell what reference materials mean without clear examples.
@@andrewbeutel8044 definitely. When the mushrooms aren't growing much I can focus on these kind of videos. Stay tuned for the one coming up with Alan. It's going to be amazing
Hi Aaron I bought an Omax a couple of years ago second hand off Ebay, it's an American brand mostly sold in the US but the person I bought it off lived there and brought it home with them, it's a cheap and very well made microscope it's less than $200
SERIOUSLY THROW THESE OUTDATED MICROSCOPES OUT PLEASE! I ALWAYS HATED THOSE FOR SCIENCE CLASS! BECAUSE YOU CAN NEVER SEE THROUGH THEM FOR CRAP! WELCOME TO THE FUTURE AARON! THERE'S DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY 4K ULTRA HD YOU CAN CAPTURE PICTURES AND TRANSFER THEM TO A TV WITH NO ICE CREAM AT ALL! I HAVE A 1,000 X 4K ULTRA MICROSCOPE THAT CAN FIT IN MY POCKET! I'M JUST TRYING TO HELP GET RID OF THOSE ACE OF TECHNOLOGY THAT WAS ALWAYS AN EYESORE!
PS IT'S THE FUTURE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SQUINT YOUR EYES THROUGH A SMALL HOLE ANYMORE TO FIND A MICROSCOPIC IMAGE! IT'S KIND OF SAD I WATCHED YOU OPEN A FRESH BOX TO OPEN UP SOMETHING THAT HUNDREDS OF YEARS OLD AND OUTDATED!
@@ScottieD369 It's okay, settle down buddy. Compound microscopes are still the industry standard. I understand there are some with fancy little screens and stuff but it's good to know the fundamentals and the standards.
Very cool! Thanks!!
Yay! Science stuff!!!!
