I am a subscriber to quite a number of ID related channels and but nothing compares to yours. Yes, it is soothing, well structured and informative but it’s the reference projects that speak to my design aesthetic a hundred. Well composed, diverse and of great quality. I pause every other picture to screenshot or let the beauty sink in. Suzie, you are such a class act! Thanks for the tons of inspiration.

Hi Suzy , I await your videos. First I started watching you because I loved to interior decorate. I loved your decor and tips etc.,
But now I love to watch them every day ,early in the morning to hear your soothing voice, calming me, and showing interiors that I my self fall in love . It makes me feel like I am in a spa. Relaxing.I love all your videos, in every style. I see vintage furniture, linen covers , walls in whites, blacks , neutral tones , rustic pieces, decor items that I keep falling in love over and over. And every thing I my self have and crave to have at home.
I used to love watching other RUclipsrs. But I don’t like it any more as I feel I am wasting my time.
when your videos are full of all what I want , it fulfills my appetite for all my decor inspiration. I feel as if you are making these videos only for me.As that’s how close to heart ❤️ they are.
So thank you so much for all you do keep up that quality of simplicity and style.and your ideas, and inspiration. The pictures are breath taking beautiful. And also for the soothing voice that narrates .
Love you Suzy Anderson . I am your biggest fan. A Sri Lankan who lives in USA. A bit shy to comment every day but love and appreciate your videos more than you know. May god bless you. May be some day I’ll meet you in person to tell my self. ❤️

@@suzieandersonhome , Thanks for your beautiful reply. So far I have been happy with all your topics .
I am about to buy a new small house by a lake. So would appreciate any info about what to look for in a new house etc., /
also another topic would be a glam home / or a modern home / when every thing in the house is new how to make it not so sterile looking .
Also a video about choosing and putting up wallpaper . For a soothing look. Lot of maximalist go for it. But most of the time it looks overwhelming and gaudy. Since I love your soothing decor I know you will do a great job.
Also decorating with gold accents like decor items, mirrors and chandeliers .
I have a bit of gold antiques In my collection.
These are just a few things that came up. please feel free to select any topic. . Or all .
Even as education hardly people talk about these topics.
Thank you so much for being kind.
By the way you are so beautiful. You and your hubby look so happy together. I am glad I wrote to you ❤️

Hi Suzie 😊 Sorry for being late. I'm quite occupied at this time. Wonderful info and delightful displays. Thank you! I have "my time" in my attached double garage. I have 2 windows, which helps. My theme is my happy memories of the 70's. It's colorful, filled with comfy furniture and wall pictures galore. It truly makes a statement and is certainly appreciated by all. I have an existing skillshare account, but haven't been on in maybe 2-3 years now. Thanks for the offer dear! 🌹

Great video! My problem is that I love too many different styles including maximalism and grand millennial as well as classic and modern country! So many choices and I have started to decorate one style then changed my mind and bought decor from another style so nothing matches and it looks awful! So now I’m stuck with a mismatch plus bare corners in rooms as I’m too scared to continue! Anyway, I look forward to your videos every week! Thank you !

Hi Maree, thank you for your comment. Have you considered doing themed rooms, maybe even just starting by grouping furniture and items in similar styles in a certain room and seeing how that feels? It could be an expression unique to you to have a few different feels in your home if curated. I am happy to hear you are enjoying the videos xx

Hi Suzie i love your videos ,I wanto to ask you can i mix different color woods dark and light or how do i know if it works together thank you

    • @suzieandersonhome
      @suzieandersonhome  2 года назад

Hello Maria, thank you for your question. You can definitely mix wood tones, and actually is can help lift a room and add dimension and dimension through the contrast and texture.
I think it is always best to have a primary wood tone, like you would when selecting a colour palette, then decide on the feel you want to create... dark and moody, raw and textural, casual and soothing. You can start to layer other wood tones in furniture, decor and lighting, and also pay attention to the finish of the wood.
I will add this question to our video ideas, but in the meantime I just found these two resources if you want some more ideas:
