- In todays episode we knock out the body work on our s2000. We are waiting on parts for the f550 so we decided this would be a perfect opportunity to get this done. Now we can begin prepping it for paint!

I can’t think of anything better to share my lunch hour with than a new Motohead.co video 😊. Mark and Vlad stole the show today with excellent detail-work and paint prep. I’ve been into wraps lately so I can’t offer much of a paint suggestion (other than gun-metal grey and red calipers - yeah, I’m still harping on that 😄) but I’m sure whatever you choose it will be amazing!

I did some online checking for you on best sports car color and here's what I found... Generally speaking, sober colors are best when it come to long-term value retention, because they have the broadest appeal. Black, grey, silver, blue and white are among the most popular shades for new cars and the ones most likely to generate strong second-hand prices. With that stated... I suggest paint the Honda a light silver grey metallic, install a black interior, and change the wheel color to look chrome. Most show cars have chrome wheels to enhance the body color.

If it’s for the road, then something like a heavy cherry 🍒 red metallic, (maybe similar to the Goonz Trackhawk) would look very classy...😊🇬🇧

Coming along nicely.... any reason why you didn’t just mask up the plastic filler cap to the fuel pipe... small detail , hidden, but would be nice given you creating an otherwise v clean look.

I would paint the S-2000 that Mercedes-Benz Blue/gray or call it gray/blue, It is no pearl or metallic and plain paint with painted gray wheels
if you need that much cheeze on the quarter replace it dont build a cheeze bucket
Appears Motörhead is very partial to the color red! Is red the color planned for the S2000 ? Goonies painted theirs metallic lime green......wouldn't have been my choice but it looks good. How about something bright and hot!!!! Hopefully not red in MHO! Waiting to see what turns out on this little HONDA .

I’m not a big fan of y’all using the iwata lph400 for primer , it’s a 500 dollar paint gun , use a more cheaper one for primer , still amazing work!!
I mean they do production work in a family owned body shop. A $500 gun likely is their cheap gun 🤷🏻♂️

Check with your main body shop guy, but the way you are mixing the filler by stirring it induces air into it and that causes pin holes. I believe the proper way is to lap it over and over till mixed properly to the same color.

What’s going on with the 550? Why is it just sitting there unfinished and you keep jumping from project to project? Can you focus on just finishing one?
thats not how it works buddy, hence why they have more than one project - beemer, 550, new project, honda whatever they can do to make content at the time, respect the game

Just polish the primer, that's virtually nardo! I like nardo on a lot of cars, but wouldn't choose it for an S2000.
