I have owned my 2019 Ram Promaster since brand new and have had multiple problems! The biggest lesson I have learned and would like to share from experience is to save yourself time and aggravation and always take your van to the dealership for repairs! In most cases it is not anymore expensive when you consider it will be done right the first time. Their diagnostic computers are amazing right down to detecting my rear license plate light being out. The service technicians at my dealership are awesome and know these vehicles inside and out! Or you can take it to your closest generic auto repair shop where they will make excuses for each time you have to bring it back for the same issues! I definitely learned this lesson the hard way!
Bring it to the dealer and pay for having it fixed twice the first time. That is all I ever hear. I do my own work, so the dealership is never going to happen with me

@@thev5140 I really dislike rude people! You must be sitting on your brains if you think “engine problems” does not include an alternator since the vehicle can’t run without one! Advanced Auto Parts does have a computer to check the charging system so that is not a lie. I’m sorry you have to leave mean comments to boost your self esteem.
You are doing a terrific job on your van ,glad you have found someone you can get advice and help from. It hopefully will help in not having to do things twice. Getting the proper elec. install is paramount and this guy should be a great help. Bunny endings are always nice and calming. Seasons Greetings from Vancouver , Canada.
With the roof rack you can install security cameras (highly recommended). 2 on each side, front ones pointed back and the rear ones pointed forward and a top in the middle back up camera. Then EVERY parking becomes easy, and you have security too. There are a few van builds on YT that show how good 5 or more cameras are a must have.
Hi Elisa, I’m picking up my Promaster in another month or two. The options I ended up going with is the high roof, 159” wheelbase extended. I wanted the extra length because of my shower. Thanks for sharing your build process. You’ve been a big inspiration to me and I think I’m ready to start building. 😅❤
You probably had a low battery. That would be the most common problem. Just ðriving a few blocks doesnt fully charge the battery. Its time to add a house battery and use the starting battery strictly for starting. And you will have a battery meter for getting an actual reading on your batteries. And im happy the windows went well. No leaks! You're now officially a van builder. Anyone can throw in an interior. But cutting holes and having no water come in is the real test. So from here on in the build will be a lot easier. Time to celebrate with bunny! You're doing a fabulous job.
Practice makes perfect on the parking. You're doing all the right things. Im a full time rv'er and im really enjoying your videos as well as your attitude towards things.
Elisa it is good to see the progress in your van .keep in mind to insulate the floor well if you are going to be in colder place than where you live. Also don't forget to insulate the wall with noise insulation .little by little you will have control of your van .I m happy to see how you perform in the construction of the van . I m admire you .
I wish you nothing but the best with your beautiful van. With that being said, years ago we used to say, Chevys rust, Fords leak oil, Dodges have electrical issues. I've owned a Dodge conversion van and 2 Jeeps. All three had electrical issues. Good luck with her. She is a beauty.
I highly recommend that, as a new van driver, that you learn to back into parking spaces. It’s a lot easier to learn and you are using your side mirrors as a guide. You just properly adjust the side mirrors. When your are backing into the parking spot use your left mirror to slowly back around the right front of the vehicle to your left. As you clear that slowly straighten your van as you back along the side of the vehicle while also checking your right mirror look to make sure that your clear as well. Sound difficult, but it’s not. Buy a few orange cones and practice in an empty parking lot. It is also so much safer just pulling out instead of backing into the flow of traffic. Also, just park further out in a parking lot away from other vehicles if possible.
I was in a tactical intelligence unit when I was in the Army, and the system I drove was basically a tractor-trailer, and believe it or not tactical parking was always easier. Just use the mirrors to line up the trailer and follow it back.
Yes backing in to parking spaces has many advantages, and when possible park in a manner that allows every having to back in or out. Example, at your residence if real estate quantity permits, install a horseshoe driveway.
Over time, you'll get better at parking. I believe the project is starting to get more serious now. And I believe you'll do a great job. I'm glad the engine light went off. A blessing. Thanks again for sharing...🎥😃👍👌👊🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Trust me, you'll get used to driving it. What you always need to keep on your radar is: 1. Your overhead limits when driving into places, and 2. Caution when pulling into gas station bays to get gas. They often have cement columns to protect the pumps and you don't want to hit them. :)
Highly recommend "Battery Tender" charger and maintainer whenever your van is going to be sitting for extended periods of time without being run. Love your vids! Keep up the good work and keep plugging away. You'll never be done with a van build, but it will keep getting better and better! And you will learn so much on the journey!
You will get used to reversing the van for sure. Love watching you videos. I have converted 2 vans myself, just take your time and think about what you are doing and you will do a great job. Make a plan and stick to it. Enjoying it is important so if you get stuck, walk away and go back to it. Keep up the great work. Mark from the U.K.
I always enjoy your videos. You do a great job of bringing the audience along with you. I think a power station is a great idea. You can seamlesly imcorporate it into your build from the start. I use a Bluetti on my truck camper. I can plug the 30 amp power cord directly into the unit. There are some advantages too, for instance, you can easily remove it if you get a new camper or if you need it for a power emergency in your home. The Bluetti is also expandable in case your power needs grow. I like that it has all the components for a solar setup in one neat box, charge controller, battery, and an inverter. . Don't make the mistake of going too small. With 400 watts on the roof get the largest watt hour unit that you can afford dont start small. And be sure it is expandable, as the Bluetti is, in case your power needs grow. . Good luck! Thanks for the video.
A little tip on check eng. lights. If it's on steady you can drive it to a repair shop, however if it's flashing it's best to pull over because you're doing damage to the engine .
You need a trickle charger for your van if it's being left standing and not getting regular use. Love your laid back content. Your brave to attempt these things on your own. Look forward to the rest of the build. Watching from a long way away in the United Kingdom

One tip with a vehicle so large is to remember to not pull into parking spots unless you are able to drive straight out as reversing out if others park next to and behind you can make it impossible. I always reverse into parking spots to make leaving a breeze
Hello, big compliment for your doings. Some times modern cars are crazy. My Jeep for example says in one second hey the fuel is enpty- 50 km later, the gasoline tank is full again without refuel!!! Hope your error will not appear again. Many regards from your greatest fan, Ralf from Berlin
BALTIC BIRCH PLYWOOD (19mm) is the BEST for cabinet making and other fine work where plywood is needed for stability, such as high grade kitchen cabinets. There are more ply's and only top pick ply's all the way through, unlike standard construction grade using softwoods, but all Birch throughout. Almost like solid boards and stable for warping. Great choice
Miss Elisa, I so wish more people would take a basic mechanic course! Raising my kids, my girls especially I had them in the shop with me as we restored motorcycles and my Willys. You are correct about the Baltic Birch plywood, average plywood is 5 ply where Baltic Birch is 9ply meaning more layers glued up for rigidity. Also it's finished on both sides with knot free veneers. A note for the future, your rooftop AC units have the same size access hole as your vents, so just remove a vent to install an AC in the future. I wrote a lengthy comment about floor framing and then wrote you an email offering any assistance but I am truly happy you found someone local. I enjoyed bunny time, you both are quite Beautiful in your own ways and a joy to watch you growing as you build your dream. As an Over The Road truck driver I aimed my mirrors at my trailer's tires to judge where to pivot backing up. You can do the same with your van, if you can see the tires in your mirror then you know where they are headed while turning. it's also good for city driving seeing the rear tires as you turn corners. Wishing you the best of luck. With Love and Respect, You are in my prayers Hoka Hey

Awesome! No leaks..😄 Just my own opinion, but after building out and traveling is a few vans I'd suggest skipping the adhesive and the 1x2's under the plywood. They're really not needed and having wood there can feed mold. The polyiso foam board is stronger than you think, and won't compress under the plywood (Mine's been fine for more than 5 year in my PM). Also, make sure and seal or paint the plywood (Edges and the underside). That way it won't absorb moisture or odors if water does get into the van somehow. Van's coming along nicely!
I’ve been thinking about getting a van, and your videos have motivated me to actively look for one. I’m looking forward to the challenge of building it..thx
Hi, just had to make a comment. I purchased a 2019 Ram Promaster a couple years back, and when I left, it sit for a while without starting it. The van would not start! I would have to jump start with my Noco Jump Starter-nice item to have! I, too, had the battery checked a couple of times and was told the battery was fine. Finally, one day, the check engine light came on for low voltage, but this time, they said the battery was bad. Replaced the battery and was told that the check engine light would go off after I drove it for a while. After a while, the light went off! So I expect just driving was your cure. You should start your van ever so often and one day that battery will go bad
I have an couple Ecoflo Pro units. They have preformed extremely well with consistent output. They have more power storage than most similar units. They are not cheap but are e collect reliable units. I have used them to power my house during power outages. They ran the induction stove, well pump and AC units with no problem. They have symmetrical waves and power iPad, Computers and other electonics.
Love your videos! Great to see how much your into building your van . I enjoy camping as well . I live in the Georgia mountains but did live in Ft Myers, come take a road trip up this way. Alan
Those vinyl flooring are tricky to install! Leave them in the van for a week (leave them spread out where each piece will be) before putting them down permanently. Change in temperature will leave gaps between them afterward if you don't let them acclimated to the new environment.
@MoB, We experimented with vinyl tiles. Moisture collected under them, resulting in a muddy swamp stench. . For sale: Twelve 16x16 interlocking vinyl tiles. Significant stains. Significant 'abandoned fridge in a meth-house' fragrance... but that should dissipate in a few decades. Best offer. As-is.
Even though you live in the south please consider insulating the floor, walls and ceiling. Keeps the hot out in the summer and the hot in in the winter.
Keep practicing the backing into parking spots and it will all start coming together. I agree with the comment about keeping the van battery on a trickle charger. There are electrical systems that draw from the battery when the van isn't running so keeping it charged with a trickle charger is an affordable solution.

I would highly recommend purchasing a light weight model of the DTC Car Code readers, they have some very simple easy to use readers. It can save you a lot of headaches when dealing with repair shops and such if you already know some information before showing up. Parking will come with time in the vehicle and driving around, your confidence level will continue to grow exponentially the more you drive. Have fun and try not to stress....
Hi there. I admire your adventurous spirit. It's good to be independent and move like wind. I just started watching your video 19, then subscribed. Wish you good luck in such a lifestyle but keep safe, wide open eyes 👀. Not to be paranoid but certain caution on traveling. Blessings 🙏
to back up: keep looking at the same mirror as you are turning so you get a consistant visual of your angle going in. Go slow and take a quick glance at the other side mirror and rearview 1/2 way through to the backing to make sure nothing has popped up or someone walk into your patch. You'll figure out quickly how long it takes to turn the van and then it's just lining it up and watching that mirror and the line you want to be next to as you make the turn. Yes, learning to back with mirrors is a learned skill. Practicing in an empty lot is the PERFECT way to learn it. It does't matter that the first time you took 2 spaces, your brain and your muscles saw the arc the van made as you turned it. Over a few more times they will "know" how sharply the van will turn and you'll adjust that part way through the turn in to be where you want. I'm guessing you've already got it down if you are worried about it and working on it. ;)
I think the van looks great - you're doing an amazing job and it's been so much fun to live vicariously through you on this project. Can't wait to see the floor go in!
You’re cute. Wash the van problem goes away! A suggestion with parking for you hang a curtain, right across behind the seats so it will force you to use those mirrors for reverse parking and changing lanes even cover your interior reverse mirror Once you put a Wall and door up you’re only left with side mirrors Great job on the little windows well done, and I like the colour of the flooring that you’ve chosen See you on the next one .Graeme in Queensland Australia❤
We had curtains we kept drawn on a custom 1965 split window VW camper, had a humungous snrf from a microbus. One day at Yellowstone I was backing up doing side checks when there was this huge crash and I came to a sudden stop. Had I looked turned my head I would have seen this massive tree that filled my wide open snrf. Hit it dead center! Totally smoked the bumper.
I spent $20 USD on an WiFi/Bluetooth OBD II scanner. Now I do not have to take my car to an AutoParts place or depend on my personal mechanic to read/clear Check Engine lights on my 2010 Mustang. Having this one tool has given me back the power when it comes to my car's engine repairs. (and has saved me a lot of money). Still gotta Mark I estimate mechanical issues...but when it comes to the computer controlled parts of my car...I can learn as much as my mechanic. So buy yourself an OBD II unit...save yourself alot of hassles and not knowing why your service engine light is on.
You should add a sound dampening material like dynamat to interior of the van. It is expensive but it will reduce both sound and vibration. Alternatively, it will also give you a small amount of insulation, which is needed in Florida to keep the van cool in the summer months. If you decide to, it needs to be done before you install the interior.
You should be proud of yourself you did a great job and you convinced me to do the same. I’m buying a ram pro master and gonna build it out. Hello from Cape Coral
Very impressive work! I am enjoying watching your progress, seeing your confidence and expertise grow; it's an inspiration. Much respect for opting out of product promotions. Freedom is what the lifestyle is about. Watching (and worse feeling) #vanlifers selling their freedom, thus parts of their souls, to promoting products is depressing (though I understand the need for some to do it). Bunny is cute and precious. I really appreciate you dedicating moments in your videos to him/her(?) -- very heartwarming! More Bunny, please. 👍🙂
New vehicles are heavily dependent on computers, and they are sipping away your battery power when it is sitting idle for a long time. You either put a trickle charger on the battery or start it up and leave it running for 15 minutes or more to charge it back up. Besides, running the engine circulates oil on the engine and the transmission. Hope the Engine light stays OFF!🙏
What nationality are you. I noticed you speak Spanish. Your windows look very nice. I can't wait to see your van complete. Big vans or trucks wider turns and yes try to find a parking area because lot of blind spots and you are going to do very well as a driver like you say practice makes better driver. Have ablessing day.
Exactly what I was thinking. I had a Chrysler 200 that I had to park in 2020. I was shocked at how much battery it drained in just a couple of months. Chrysler and Doge/RAM are the same company BTW.
Just reset the light. Give it another chance. Also be aware of weight and weight distribution when building the van. Lightweight items are available. 3/4 plywood is heavy. The wrong insulation in the walls and ceiling can rattle when driving. Careful!
If your engine light comes on again check your gas cap could have something to do with it love your videos hope to see many more take care be safe😊😊😊😊😊😊
Try starting the van and let run until it gets up to operating temperature once a week ,if it's sitting idle. Maybe consider a backup camera , it will make backing up easier if you will be visiting campgrounds. At some point adding cameras so you have a 360 degree view of the outside of your vehicle will give you some peace of mind at night while remote camping solo. Unless of course Bunny "barks loud enough" to deter any nosy people. Good idea on finding someone local who's familiar with van build outs!
Thank you for sharing this. I am considering a van so these videos help me decide one over another. Sounds dumb since all vehicles have problems. I have a Chevy truck and my check engine light comes on and goes off all the time? Sometimes it can be something simple like the gas cap not on tight. My biggest pet peave is my trailer brake buzzer goes off to get it serviced. I have never ever used it and it wont let me cancel warning and I have to listen to the warning sound all the time? Very annoying. Good luck with your van. Stay safe.
Congrats on your build plan . I also have a high top Van that I will be building out . I already see ideas that I will probably use . Thanks ! The Blue Ridge parkway offers many beautiful places for Van camping. The foliage is amazing year round . However, many higher elevation areas are closed for the winter . I look forward to the continuation of your build .
Blue ridge parkway does not allow commercial vehicles. Technically the Pro master is commercial vehicle. I would call park services.First on that road..
@@williamryan9195 There are campgrounds with many Van campers . It’s just seasonal. I’m not aware of any Van restrictions of travel . I could be missing something?
@@stevem9766 I saw a sign saying commercial vehicles not permitted on the parkway in North Carolina so I stayed off of the parkway because I was in my Promaster high roof .I was assuming it was because of height or weight restrictions. I did find one website saying they meant all commercial vehicles with commercial logos but tour buses are the exception. I probably want to get a clear answer from park officials on that one. My van was clearly marked commercial.
@@stevem9766 I was confused when I saw the sign because it didn't say it was weight restricted or length related. But when I googled it there was no real reasons given. Your build appears to be coming along nicely. Good idea checking for leaks with high pressure Before continuing with interior. With electronics no telling, but I have had a fault code cause the engine light to appear but the sensor was good. I disconnected the battery terminals, cleaned and reinstalled, and presto, the engine light went off. Gremlins lol. I attached a Gremlin Bell to my Harley to help prevent that. 🙂 You should have seen me backing when I first started driving a tractor trailer, lol was comical to say the least. Like you say, practice. Nothing trumps experience. I have a midsize truck and pull a cargo trailer or a boat sometimes and even though I’m more experienced now I have considered installing a backup cam just to make it easier. Happy Trails ✌️
WOW great to see you doing the work yourself. I wanted to do this a few years ago after I lost my home due to getting a divorce. It would be great to do an electric version of a motor home ❤
I feel your pain. I went through a Merry-go-round with my van's dashboard issues. And yes, the carwash did fix your engine light.....it WASHED it CLEAN (of COURSE! 😜)
It can be an air filter... or top up on power steering fluid. Check the oil. Etc. Main reason these come on automatically is every 20,000 mile maintenance check up. You still have 3,000 mile too that. Check the manual for automatic checkup miles. That light will start too shut your car down and force you into the dealership for a scheduled electronic maintenance. Good luck.😊
Take it from a van & truck dweller AC is a must have .My last two choices have been Mini-Split systems which provide AC & Heat. Roof top ACs are noisy & a one trick pony - only AC
Hi, I've just found your RUclips channel and I'm so envious that you are converting this van into a mobile home. On your contence about reversing just keep practicing,it will get easier. All the advice by previous comments are good. I was thinking would installing a reversing camera help and assist you as the bigger mobile homes have them now. Best wishes for your van build and travelling. Looking forward to watching your progress, lol Sophie
Enjoyed your video, you are doing a great job......i think your van has French electrics and are known for it's annoying occasional electrical issues normally not serious. Don't worry too much about the parking....just takes a bit of confidence and practice....i have the extra long length version, you soon get used to it. Best wishes from David in the rainy England UK.
With the floor....stick on sound deadening patches are great for floor (and walls and doors too.). Insulate all internal surfaces well. Multiple layers. . For walls and ceilings, suggest you lay in electric cables before walls/ceiling are finished. Roof racks are good, especially for solar and cameras. For front seats, see if you can find ones that rotate to face back into van as well. Lastly, as space is limited, good design principle is every space is a multi function space (Must have at least 2 uses, 3 if possible. For example, Storage under bed, plus table slides out from under bed. Shower and toilet in same space..etc.etc.
Always back in a parking space, when you can. 3 things that will get you in trouble, when driving, speeding/following to close/ backing up. Drove a delivery van for 27 years WITH NO Accidents.😎
To back up, usually the lines on the blacktop are lined up. Pull up to a space half way. Back into that space in back of you. Use your mirrors to line up. You need to slant your mirrors down so you can see the lines and back into it. I learned that while driving 18 wheelers and School Buses. Just takes practice!
To back with the van is a learning prosess it is the with as you se in the mirrors and the lenght and you "feel" the lengt and use the mirror's and find a "goal" to reverse against and sight is 100 % stright and it is no problem at all if your are unsure of the length go outside and se you get the reight feeling very soon! It is a teck to do this right and you wil feel when it is right! And dont be afraid if you do wrong practice and you se it is pretty easy hehe! So use both mirrors all the time!👍👍 And the best if you gonna have a hanger on the van use the mirrors and the visible on both sides must be 100 % right on both sides then move slowly back and you can almost feel when it is enough then go out and se and you know so it is a learnig prosess ofc :)
Unfortunately pro master series are prone to numerous issues. I’d suggest Chevy or Ford. Any decent mechanic can work on those brands. Unfortunately nobody wants to touch these. I hope you can find a way to trade in for Chevy or ford. Best of luck!!
That engine light is probably a blessing in disguise because your plans moving forward will greatly depend on a reliable charging system, especially with added accessories. If the auto parts store said your battery was good I was leaning toward the alternator. But when the light went away I was thinking more of a ground issue. Something any mechanic can test for 🙄. If you can remember any bolt or nut you took off whilst cleaning out the van or maybe painted over can cause a ground issue. But I'd start looking in the engine bay like any good mechanic could do first🤨😂. Hopefully it's just easy as a loose nut on your negative terminal to you battery, alternator,or starter. Cute bunny and I guess his compa monkey?!😂..nice touch on your thumbnail with the slit dress😊. Cute
Hello beautiful, I just bought a 2016 Mercedes sprinter it has 52,000 miles on it 6 mouths a go. I had to change the oxygen sensor and I have been test driving it and it's working. RUclips has help me out on how to fix it. I have been customizing it myself so it's really cool to see a beautiful woman doing the some! It's looking good.
I'm sure others have already told you this, but a P0562 code on your van is due to a voltage drop in the system. I see that others have mentioned putting a trickle charger on the battery if it's going to sit for long periods, or even if you're only going to drive it for very short trips. This will not allow your battery to stay charged and will drain it slowly over time if you're not careful. Try driving your van for 30-45 consecutive minutes per week or putting a trickle charger on the battery to keep it topped off. That would explain why the light went off after you washed it. :) The battery probably drained too much while sitting but got charged enough to clear the code as you were out running errands. If you see a yellow, solid light, you should be good to drive the vehicle until you can get the ECU read, so long as it's not running erratically. If it's flashing and/or not running properly, you may have issues. If that light comes on and it's red, pull over IMMEDIATELY and have it towed to a mechanic. Red check engine lights are VERY bad news and should be investigated ASAP.
I have a dual lens camera fitted just above the high level brake light. It’s an absolute must for rear view when driving forward but then switches view when selecting reverse and looks right down onto the rear bumper. Makes reversing my 6m van a breeze.

Thanks for sharing your build process. You’ve been a big inspiration to me and I think I’m ready to start building. 😅❤
This is the first time I’ve “subscribed” to a channel. You and your message are mesmerizing.
I can see courage in your eyes. Never stop, never quit. Enjoying your content. Thanks
I'm glad your van is okay. You are doing a great job.
As a former DHL courier I totally agree. Backing in into parking spaces avoids the most common accidents.
Drove a cargo van for my work. You quickly learn how to back using your mirrors because you don’t have rear windows to see
Frankly, I usually park away from other cars and trucks and walk the extra distance - whenever possible.
The van looks Great with those windows! Awesome progress. Can't wait to see the final product. Blessings from San Antonio TX!
I agree, if my wife does not drive her car enough we get a battery alert
That....happens on motorcycles all the time but I personally have never seen it happen to cars/vans.The battery is so big it should not be happening.
@@michaelpayne1737 UGH. Don't start me with motorcycle batteries. Even with trickle charging, I only seem to get two-three seasons out of them.
Promaster engine problems!?? RUclipsrs these days have to lie to get views, bringing her car to Adavance Auto Parts to diagnostic a problem is a joke, they are not trained in Auto technical school, how can he tell your car's engine problem, code p0562 Voltage Low , is alternator some time not charging that why it stored code p0562 , alternator is not parts of engine , beautiful but no brain ,
Van and camper builds are fascinating. I get so many ideas, how different people do their unique builds. Cool.
One tip with a vehicle so large is to remember to not pull into parking spots unless you are able to drive straight out as reversing out if others park next to and behind you can make it impossible. I always reverse into parking spots to make leaving a breeze
Just found your channel Elisa. Liking it so far, love this kind of journeys. The new van will make life a lot better and easier. Good luck!
So sorry, always disappointing when this happens. I hope you can recover and keep going forward with your adventures. ❤ your content stay positive 😎👍
Nice work. Enjoying your progress. Thanks for throwing some bunny footage in! 😊
Hi there. I love your tenacity for your van build project. It’s going to be awesome 👏.
Miss Elisa,
I so wish more people would take a basic mechanic course!
With Love and Respect, You are in my prayers
Hoka Hey
Thank you! I will check ;)
Like anyone out there doing this life, I just want you to succeed and be happy.
Hoka Hey
Basic mechanic course? Who wants to work on their own vehicle..not me 😅
@@FORKandFIFTIES no kidding.. these highly computerized vehicles are wayyy beyond the abilities of your typical mechanic.. take it to the dealer who's equipped with the knowledge and proper diagnostic tools.
@@soloelisa Hey Lil sister , newbie to you and a mechanic ... Reset ur check engine light , sometimes they get a false signal , reset it , there may be nothing wrong at all ... Peace to you ... * Jumped in to early , now it's out , the computer is also self diagnosing (to a point) it may have noticed it picked up a false signal , did a do over and said "nevemind"...
Very fun when the van has a good sound system and interior. Cool that you choose it.🎸👍🏄
Do yourself a huge favor! Read reviews BEFORE you buy.
I have a RV travel trailer toyhauler and thinking about a promaster and thats how i found your channel. ✌️ Love it.
Love your videos! Great to see how much your into building your van . I enjoy camping as well . I live in the Georgia mountains but did live in Ft Myers, come take a road trip up this way. Alan
I bought the 5kw EcoFlow Power Kit and it’s pretty great. No complaints and it suits my needs. Go for it!
So glad your check engine light went off! Nice blessing❤
Your channel is such a joy to watch.
I enjoyed your video Elisa. More and more women are taking on the challenges of camper van life. I look forward to your videos as a new viewer. 🙂
Bunny Buns ❤
Love watching u build the van .. can’t wait for you traveling.
Those vinyl flooring are tricky to install! Leave them in the van for a week (leave them spread out where each piece will be) before putting them down permanently. Change in temperature will leave gaps between them afterward if you don't let them acclimated to the new environment.
@MoB,
We experimented with vinyl tiles.
Moisture collected under them, resulting in a muddy swamp stench.

For sale:
Twelve 16x16 interlocking vinyl tiles.
Significant stains.
Significant 'abandoned fridge in a meth-house' fragrance... but that should dissipate in a few decades.
Best offer.

You're doing great!. Get some sleep and you'll drive fine. I've made mistakes when I don't rest enough. You're amazing....
Hello Eliza How you doing, Just wanna to say to you, You are doing a hell of a job. What I like about this project is your persistent, inaivitive, your desire to tackle a project.... We learn by our mistakes don't you agree.... Keep at it Girl 0: Your Doing great job.....Say Hello to your Bunny Rabbit, looks like he's great......gatta go, Bye
Another Great Video 👍 Great content, keep up the great work!
Seeing Bunny is a plus ♥️
The van looks great!!!! You will get the backing down with no problem!!!!!!
Hi there. I admire your adventurous spirit. It's good to be independent and move like wind. I just started watching your video 19, then subscribed. Wish you good luck in such a lifestyle but keep safe, wide open eyes 👀. Not to be paranoid but certain caution on traveling. Blessings 🙏
Fan of your content. Great that you are very hands on and like to do this build yourself as much as possible. ❤
I’m enjoying watching your build process. Subscribed. 👍🏽
coming along nicely with ur build........just take ur time and u will get there.
to back up: keep looking at the same mirror as you are turning so you get a consistant visual of your angle going in.
Window installation, parking, hair. All looking good!!
That’s great! I’m having a lot of fun with it, I just wish I could go faster!
I can't wait to see your
van complete.
Careful!
"Elle avait des yeux où il faisait si bon vivre que je n'ai jamais su où aller depuis.

If your engine light comes on again check your gas cap could have something to do with it love your videos hope to see many more take care be safe😊😊😊😊😊😊
BEAUTIFUL choppers...take care of them.
Nice to see you attempting to work on your van alone. Great content. Hailing from Fort Lauderdale
Hello! Keep practicing, use the side mirrors and you will be good to go. Beautiful lady! Good luck!
@@williamryan9195 Ok. Yea maybe in the case of clear marking commercial vans .
@@stevem9766 I was confused when I saw the sign because it didn't say it was weight restricted or length related. But when I googled it there was no real reasons given. I stayed clear of it because I was definitely commercial with DOT numbers. Commercial means commercial to me. I didn't want too risk the violation or worse.New England has a lot of restrictions as well/ They are clearly marked.Weight, length,Height restricted.
Hello, don't worry about the engine... it's the nature of cars, it doesn't run without it...
Merry Christmas and Happy New year great video Houston Texas USA 😊
Hi, I've just found your RUclips channel and I'm so envious that you are converting this van into a mobile home. On your contence about reversing just keep practicing,it will get easier. All the advice by previous comments are good. I was thinking would installing a reversing camera help and assist you as the bigger mobile homes have them now. Best wishes for your van build and travelling. Looking forward to watching your progress, lol Sophie
Fantastic 😍 work 👏🏿 you getting the job done 👍🏿✅
Enjoyed your video, you are doing a great job......i think your van has French electrics and are known for it's annoying occasional electrical issues normally not serious. Don't worry too much about the parking....just takes a bit of confidence and practice....i have the extra long length version, you soon get used to it. Best wishes from David in the rainy England UK.
I wish Toyota would build this size van🤔
Many of them exist just not in USA don’t think USA is the world bud
Drove a delivery van for 27 years WITH NO Accidents.😎
just subscribed as I’ve been trying to build out a van on and off for couple years now. looking forward to future vids.
Thank you Jimmy! Hope you get yours done too! It seems to be a slow process though 😆
I’m glad the engine warning went out. xx
The Eco Flo Power Kit is a great way to go it’s probably the most advanced off grid/ RV system money can buy.
So use both mirrors all the time!👍👍
And the best if you gonna have a hanger on the van use the mirrors and the visible on both sides must be 100 % right on both sides then move slowly back and you can almost feel when it is enough then go out and se and you know so it is a learnig prosess ofc :)
Cute
Wonderful! Waiting for the EP20
Pro tip. Call for dealer appointment, you wait 2 or 3 weeks. Just drive in and drop off and you likely get service within 24 hours
BEautiful and practical, what a woman... Great video.
I have a dual lens camera fitted just above the high level brake light. It’s an absolute must for rear view when driving forward but then switches view when selecting reverse and looks right down onto the rear bumper. Makes reversing my 6m van a breeze.
