As a Kiwi living away from home it’s a proud moment to see our challenge, and a respectful moment for our Maori people. If the crowd show disrespect then that’s on them.
Bok supporter. The AB Haka is up there as a goosebump level spectacle in WORLD SPORTS, not just rugby. Stuff the snowflakes who think otherwise or would want to change that.
Anyone who took what Joe Marler said seriously clearly don't know Joe Marler or his humor. He's a wind up merchant. Loves getting under peoples skin. Extremely dry sense of humor. Of course he doesn't actually believe those things and he even said it himself after. Just wanted to create a bigger buzz for the match and look what happened? It absolutely did because it was all anyone was talking about haha. So he succeeded.
I remember the very first time we saw "Kapa O Pango" against South Africa when Aaron Mauger was 'advancing' towards the opposition by himself. Happy to see the entire team 'confronting their opponent'
England been shut, ego tore down and humbled downd by loosing 2 points. This 2 point cuts through their ego and will be remember as a knife cut loses. Awesome performance from the All Blacks. Respect their Haka tradition, England must learn to respect other nation's tradition by now.
respect? Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, all either start their challenge during or simultaneously on regular occasions, I see 'swing low' as the equivalent... and the line walking to halfway? Awesome. We need to get back to the challenge and the 'answer' as it used to be.
The crowd missed the opportunity to hear the haka as a great spectacle by singing over it - two loses on the day. If they had waited until after it was over to sing then it would have been seen as a great reply to the haka but no they stuffed up again. English rugby is sinking back to the deeps of where they were under Eddie Jones and don’t know how to pull themselves out of it.
Jeff Wilson and John Kirwin both doing commentary for sky were both in agreement that the crowd response was awsome! Having learnt about and performed haka myself through rugby I would agree with them. If we expect them to respect our challenge, should we not also respect their cultural response? The week before the Japanese were completely silent. That was their cultural response. This is just my personal interpretation and I humbly acknowledge that there will be vastly differing opinions.
They were respectful and they're allowed to sing especially on their homeground. All teams should be encouraged to sing if they want and that was awesome👍
@Stillcantthinkofaname but in france they are silent . I m not telling they must silent in response to haka. But I'm telling they must have some respect.
@@shehansenanayaka3046 Respect is earned not demanded. Surely it is better for the Haka to be met with a real challenge as opposed to the neutered response preferred by the rugby authorities?
@andrewpaul9199 then why joe marler has resigned and posted a tweet i just want to make things spicier. I read a article about their is some issues regarding their response to haka. 🤔
I prefer Ka Mate because it's about laying down ones life for his enemy. It's a reminder for the AB's to remember that Pakeha and Maori were once at war. The AB idea puts this to bed. Kapa o Pango is different. If anyone performed this to me I will want a fight rather than play Rugby.
