I’ve owned this pod for a few years, was the first one I bought and have had no reason to ever look at replacing or upgrading it. For the price you pay it’s simply fantastic. Never had any issues with it, simple to use and set up, 10/10
Bought it after seeing this vlog Joe..for feeder fishing on rivers which I haven't done in 30 years.(carping).ie tips up...luv ngt kit...no carp tax..cheers m8 for the upload..as i now own one...perfect..👍👍🍻🍻
The comments on here are funny. If one of the big brands put their name on it. Everyone would say its amazing. Rods, reels, pods all made in the same factories. People just love to pay the carp tax 😴😴.
I'm using this rodpod for about a year now over here in Holland. I tried other pods from Sonik Tripod Cygnet Fox and Avid, but this one is the one for me. Price quality wise unbeatable with the added addition of the longer legs in one package. I added some extra washers underneath the legs and the plastic frame on where you screw the legs tight on to give it more space to hold. Love this one, many carps already caught off of this pod. Sidenote, you get what you pay for so the alloy tubes are somehat thinner. So dont put supermuch force on it to settle it in mud or you have the chance they bend. Other than that....its a winner.
I bought one for my son and liked it so much i kept it. I have nice gear and did buy all the expensive overpriced stuff. Beginning to realise with some gear there is no need to pay 3 x the price
This looks awesome for not only beginners but anyone who’s carp fishing. At a great price point too - well done NGT!! 😊 I have the solar worldwide pod which I’d never swap but makes your eyes water when you look at the price … but this is an awesome all purpose pod for just about any situation.
This is product is brilliant, don’t listen to any clown saying stuff like build quality tackle such as your rod pod alarms chair ect mean fuck all to being a good fisherman ovs good rods reels n line yh but side tackle like this if taken care of lasts a lifetime
I have pins which sometimes fall out of my Fox A+ pod, but I just put them back in again. Was not a lot more in price to this when I bought it. For a tenner more, you could buy the Fox EOS pod (Same as the A+), so your point is somewhat mute. They all have issues somewhere.
NGT has come on in leaps and bounds. Cracking gear which easily can take on the 'top flight' brands.... or you can continue to be a tackle tart and spend your well earned on inferior over priced gear....
They've lasted at least 7 years so far and i've not heard of any issues you wouldn't also find from other manufacturer's. The more competition in the market is always good for consumers.
@@willrose6862 All because it didn't last long for you, doesn't mean the same will apply to everyone else. Also, if it broke that quick they'd replace it. Just contact the place you brought it from and they'll handle the fix/replacement. I believe by law (in the UK anyways, prob EU too) anything that develops a fault within a year you are entitled to a fix/replace unless it broke due to being mishandled/used by the owner.

So it’s cheapy made?
This pod looks amazing. Is there a chance that it gets pulled in/unbalanced after a big run? What holding it down? Thanks!
For the price this has gotta be 1 of the best pods on the market. The configuration is absolutely insane.
Won’t last long
Y is that then u sausage because of the name numptys like u get robbed every day because of a name 😂
Why wouldn’t it last long?

Cheap gear
@willrose6862 wrong I've had a ngt 42inch net for 4 years and it's still works better than most brands nowadays.

My JRC compact pod recently broke... This looks like a great replacement!
Thanks for great review, that's what i was looking for: compact adjustable.
I got this because of this review, thank you i am very pleased with it :)
good value for money

Looks a great pod and great price
I'd use the pod on the Thames.
Spot on..that's exactly what I'm going to do 👍👍🍻
I dunno if you do requests Joe, but any chance you could do a review/overview of the Carper Speedflex popup bivvy or has anyone seen or used one?
I have one they're very good

Didn’t mention is the length adjustable
Yes it is, sorry..it was shown in the adjustability section 👌🏻
That's lovely 😍
Looks good to me don't care about names or brands just like price and size
Looks like Prologic Sky pod.
Need a new pod, was looking at the saber pods, but this may be a cheaper alternative 👍
Don’t do it…. Won’t last
keep looking at saber. I have a supra low pro pod and its a brilliant piece of kit for the price
I second the super low! Great bit of kit
Hi Martin I've got two saber low pros the standard and compact, they're brilliant kit, tight lines👍
I've been using a Saber Compact for a while now. Zero problems with it, highly recommend.
In Brazil we have none of that, and it is extremely expensive to import
The big knob that wobbles says all about the quality of this product…

I do like these but the looks I would get with expensive rods and reels lol
Tart 😂
Prat more like do more expensive rods catch u more then ya sausage
No I'm just a tackel tart pmsl
