    I really appreciate this channel! I have been using the tutorials to teach my son. I have a blue belt in BJJ and competed in kung fu Sanda for several years. I regret that I did not wrestle in high school and want to expose my son to it along with other martial arts. He is 7 now and hopefully will be open to wrestle in middle or high school.

    Awesome! Do you mind doing a vid about the best takedowns for taller guys? High CoG and being far from the other guys hips makes double legs pretty much suck!

    • @robertw6546
      @robertw6546 7 лет назад

      mc swagger Im pretty tall. know what ya mean. throws, duck unders, single legs, arm drags to back. these what suit me for my height

    • @youlilgremlinkun
      @youlilgremlinkun 6 лет назад

      Snap downs, single-legs, arm drags, ankle picks, even low singles and blast doubles can work for a tall guy. Try faking an ankle pick, and when the opponent reacts by pulling their foot back (making them heavy leaning forward), snap them down to either a spin-behind or for a low leg attack.

    great video...but I wonder how practical some of the moves really are...given that the training partner offered ZERO resistance in each situation.

    • @tlang8960
      @tlang8960 7 лет назад +1

      I've used all of these moves multiple times in competition so I'd say they're pretty practical.

    • @vandamme6379
      @vandamme6379 6 лет назад +3

      It's a demonstration of technique so what's the point in resistance? He wouldn't be showing the techniques, instead he would just be wrestling his buddy. Some people 😕

    • @sebastianGunnarson71

      He probably vetted these techniques against live opponents and knows they work, and then shows it to us
