I'm from Matt's generation. And I dated a tow truck driver for a gas station, and yes, it was fun. Also gathered the local fast food restaurant parking lot where the owner was cool about it. Remember, we had no cell phones. We listened to car radios or amazing car stereos. Settled our fights with fists, not guns. Had loads of friends that hung out together on weekend nights. We were respectful to our parents. Took our punishment when deserved. It wasn't goody two shoes era but it sure was fun.
