Try puncturing the seal with the underside of the lid top. It'll make a hole right in the middle of the seal. That way you don't get it all over your finger and it's not so messing when using it
The colour will develop a little bit more over time. You can always let your colours develop overnight if you want a deeper colour, although I found that this one created a nice shade right away and didn't change that much once the buttercream dried out.
Great question. Color Mill is an oil based colouring and as such it isn't advisable to use it with royal icing, as it will affect the consistency of the icing. The general rule of thumb is to avoid any oil with royal icing as it can cause it to separate. Color Mill works better with oil based icings like buttercream, whipped cream and you can also use it with fondant. I highly recommend AmeriColor or Master Elite colours for royal icing. Hope that helps.
Great video once again. Congrats on the 1k subscribers milestone!
