That’s a really great price for Harlem! When I first moved to nyc I lived there and paid $750 for a room in a railroad style apartment. One of the roommates had to walk through my room to get to hers. It was a nightmare
That's really cheap I used to pay 2,800. For 1 bedroom in the bronx. And so small. But thank God I move out of their. Now I live in Arizona. I have a 4 bedroom house and 3 baths for 1,500
I don't live in NY but I've seen several apartment tours and you seem to have happened up on a great deal there. It may be small but you are making it work. I saw a rectangle box somewhere in NY with no bathroom (shared one down the hall), just one big rectangle room maybe 10 foot wide by 25 or 30 feet long....over $1200. It was crazy. So yeah, your $800/mo for one with a little space AND a bathroom AND a bedroom....hold on to that.
There is something so satisfying about figuring out how to make a small space cozy & work for you. You did a nice job. I have mostly lived in small spaces -- nice not to spend a fortune on rent!!
I love your bed! The yellow blanket and the little sun pillow with white bedding in front of the window looks so comfy, like you'd want to just lay there with a cup of coffee and people watch out the window, or curl up with a nice book. Beds don't have to be fancy, they just have to look inviting and yours does 🥰

You mentioned you don't have a kitchen, but if you like to cook and have the space, how about getting an air fryer? I recently purchased one, and so far I've made a lot of chicken in it: wings, legs and one of the best 5 lb rotisserie chickens ever! Frozen cauliflower pizza was great. The fries came out a little dry. This is a must-have appliance! An electric wok, microwave oven, electric frying pan, toaster, mini food processor, electric tea kettle, French press, and toaster are life savers for me. I'm a Bronx native, living in Ohio, and I never rented anyplace that didn't have a kitchen. I couldn't do it.
Whoops, if there's any restocked anywhere online or in stores, I hugely recommend the Hamilton Beach convection 6 slice rolltop garage style door for awesome everything in small space. I'd researched for months, before going into self isolation early Feb. Lol, they weren't sold out back then. The door and pizza and Crispy bone in chicken (shake 4 pieces with 1 T baking powder and spices, 450 ° 30 mins on convection!), Kodiak chocolate mix keto muffins from the pancakes box, reheat takeout fast without meat destruction. You can make anything and prep right in front of your toaster oven without clearing space to open the oven door!! wow i’m shook. I love how it’s organized. it’s crazy how these states are different with their apartment prices. I stay in mississippi and the smallest apartment you can get is worth $500 a month for 1 bedroom with 600 sq ft and it’s newly updated. New York prices are off the wall 😩.
Pointing at top drawer “you know what’s your nightstand drawer be looking like. It’s got a lot of stuff in it”😆 Oh girl, we know about the “stuff”!!😆😆 You too funny!!😆😆😆
LOVE! What a great deal on this place. No kitchen would be a bummer for me, but paying just $800 a month for rent in NYC is unheard of! Super cute place and just like you say, it’s real life. So cozy!
I can totally make it work with the right piece of furniture to put one of those hot plates on top and storage below. It's the having to wash dishes in the tiny bathroom sink that would be my biggest issue. It will look like a duck splashed around in there by the time I'm done trying to wash a pot or big pan 😂
One, you definitely need to stay in that cute apartment till you are ready to buy. I live in the Bronx and prices are crazy. Two, I will be checking out Shein for home decor 😄 Also you can get an air fryer or an instant pot to cook meals in. Great video. Love the #reallife Looking forward to more videos. New subbie 😀
I absolutely love your apartment and the decor ,it is more than enough space for a single person and the price can't be beat not having a kitchen is not a deal breaker when there are so many small appliances that you can use to improvise, and I agree a coffee pot is everything. Thank you for sharing. 😊
If I was single I could live without a full kitchen. Your apt is cute! I live in Oxfordshire England with my British husband and two cats and we are lucky to rent a 3 bedroom house for £700 a month. It’s old and needs renovating but we know the owner. 🙂🤗
Considering that you don't have a kitchen that is still a nice amount of space to have while living in the Bronx. Even for just one room some people might pay about 800 a week in the NYC metro area. You got a great deal. Love the tour🙂.
THE CUTEST apartment...EVER! I can't live without a kitchen, but other than that I'm re-thinking my entire living sitch right now. I have 3bdr/2.5 bath townhome with a garage and driveway for $1425 (new construction) in Charlotte, but I'm moving to Jersey and want to downsize considerably. This is so inspiring. Girl...you don't ever need to move unless you want to purch. You're very smart!
@@MandaDanda LOL! In comparison to 350 sqft...maybe. But your place is so charming and cozy. I'm SO OVER this townhouse. What you have is perfect for your lifestyle and it really has inspired me to downsize when I move.
I just screamed.... LOL "That's just my bag of wigs"! I love that, so real, so authentic. Thank you for this. Have you ever thought of getting a small hot plate or actually recently when visiting an airbnb in a tiny house I was introduced to a induction hot plate which is more conventional and safer for a small place.
Lol, 🤣 when you didn't open the shower curtain, I went to subscribe ...cuz you keep it real. Your apt is what my apt looks like no fancy stuff, just little touches of cute stuff.
What a sweet apartment you have! Love how resourceful you are & how well you honor what works for you. When you talk about special items in your home, (such as your tapestries, for instance), it's lovely to hear the delight & appreciation in your voice. Thank you so much for sharing part of your world! May you have a blessed life. 🙏🌾🍁🌾😊🌾🍁🌾🙏
Adorable apartment. Love how you nicely decorated such a small space. Love how you display items from your travels. I love seeing the uniqueness of individual apartments. Great job!😊
Love your space, it's one for true living in small spaces. So bright and charming, you've mentioned SHEIN so many times, you have me curious now. I have to check them out now.
Whatever makes you happy. I love it, and I actually like small spaces. You really love lots of room to use, go vertical . Lots of room for floating shelves. You can put shelves over the fridge, microwave for soups or whatever. If you do not use under your bed for storage there is a whole closet worth of space under there. I keep a Christmas tree, decorations, and extra bedding in huge ziplocks under my bed.
I love your apartment tour and I dont blame you for staying there. Even without a kitchen that's still a good deal! I have a great deal with my apt as well. I live in a beautiful brand new studio apartment with updated/modern appliances and i pay $865 per month. I thank God everyday 🙏 for being lucky enough to win a lottery apartment. The building is beautiful with great amenities and I'm not leaving here until I'm moving into a house or another apartment with a great deal. If I'm lucky again! Lol. I want to do an apartment tour video but I'm so socially awkward 😫 Or I may just post the pics on my pinterest page.
Girl i want your luck with the lottery!!! 🙏🏾. You should definitely do a tour of your place. Don’t worry about being awkward, just pretend you’re talking to a friend.

This is such a great place for 800!! I live in Queens in a 1bd pay almost 1300 and live with my mom bc seriously its just way too much. The only way to save in this city is by sharin the apt. Right now im able to save thank God and my mom. Your place is great and looks like a safe neighborhood. 👌🏼
That's a really good price. And is big too. I'm from the bronx and I used to pay 2,800 for 1 bedroom. And I live in Arizona I have a 4 bedroom and 3 bath house for 1,500 ☺️
Ok I’m glad to see that affordable places exist... praying I find something within my budget when I move to the city (whenever that will be 🙁) everyone pray for me thanks
Your apartment is so nice and cozy, you have it organized so well that it all looks seamless. I can't believe you carried that huge mirror up to your apartment by yourself that must have been hard. Love Love your apartment 😍😍😍
Manda, you have done a great job decorating your apartment. You are able to live with just a few items. I am more of a collector, so the space would be hard for me to manage. But your place would be like a large single dorm room in college - so in that way, you have a good size space. Nice video!

@@XSemperIdem5 just adopt a duck and then you will always have an excuse for the mess!
Thank you so much. I appreciate the support ❤️
@@MandaDanda You're welcome and Thank you for the great content. I have binge watched all your videos since finding your channel.
Is she going to wash them in the tub? There is nothing redeeming about NYCC
Absolutely lovely. Creative & a great view. Enjoy!
Your apartment is great. It’s real for a real person who lives there.
I absolutely love your apartment and the decor ,it is more than enough space for a single person and the price can't be beat not having a kitchen is not a deal breaker when there are so many small appliances that you can use to improvise, and I agree a coffee pot is everything. Thank you for sharing. 😊
Awww thank you so much for watching!! 💛💛💛
If I was single I could live without a full kitchen. Your apt is cute! I live in Oxfordshire England with my British husband and two cats and we are lucky to rent a 3 bedroom house for £700 a month. It’s old and needs renovating but we know the owner. 🙂🤗
That’s a big space for that price!
Considering that you don't have a kitchen that is still a nice amount of space to have while living in the Bronx. Even for just one room some people might pay about 800 a week in the NYC metro area. You got a great deal. Love the tour🙂.
800 a week?? Wowwww!!!
Very cute. Great view, enjoy.
Hello, really love your apartment. Very cozy. Thank you for sharing.
The prices in nyc are so ridiculous I agree your rent is good and you making it work. Very cozy simple life. Love it
Thank you!!! 💛💛💛
Well, if it works for you, and you are comfortable with it, then it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks!
Exactly!
@@MandaDanda Personally, I think you did a great job...your apartment looks so cozy and homey...
So pretty much what you’re telling me is that you currently live in a mansion 😂
@@MandaDanda LOL! In comparison to 350 sqft...maybe. But your place is so charming and cozy. I'm SO OVER this townhouse. What you have is perfect for your lifestyle and it really has inspired me to downsize when I move.
I just screamed.... LOL "That's just my bag of wigs"! I love that, so real, so authentic. Thank you for this. Have you ever thought of getting a small hot plate or actually recently when visiting an airbnb in a tiny house I was introduced to a induction hot plate which is more conventional and safer for a small place.
I love how organized and efficient your place is. You have a lot of stuff but it doesn’t look cluttered.
Thank you for inviting us to see your lovely home. You really make that space work for you.
Thank you so much for watching 💛💛💛
Love your home! Warm and cozy! Thank you for sharing. Stay happy and safe!
Thank you for watching! 💛💛💛
Lol, 🤣 when you didn't open the shower curtain, I went to subscribe ...cuz you keep it real. Your apt is what my apt looks like no fancy stuff, just little touches of cute stuff.
😂 thank you so much for supporting 💛
Thanks
What a sweet apartment you have! Love how resourceful you are & how well you honor what works for you. When you talk about special items in your home, (such as your tapestries, for instance), it's lovely to hear the delight & appreciation in your voice. Thank you so much for sharing part of your world! May you have a blessed life.
🙏🌾🍁🌾😊🌾🍁🌾🙏
Thank you so much! 💛💛💛
your voice is relaxing. i am using this video as a tool to calm down.
Tf bro
Same! She could do ASMR videos
Dope space. I'd have to get a burner and a small oven though
I have one but I actually don’t use it that often
You are right; the painting you did IS beautiful!!☺️
Awwww thank you!! 💛💛💛
Adorable apartment. Love how you nicely decorated such a small space. Love how you display items from your travels. I love seeing the uniqueness of individual apartments. Great job!😊
Thank you! 💛
Love your space, it's one for true living in small spaces. So bright and charming, you've mentioned SHEIN so many times, you have me curious now. I have to check them out now.
Definitely check them out!
Loved your video. girl stay right there its cute.
What is a lottery apartment? Is that subsidized housing?
Hey do your video people love these videos especially people who dream of moving to different places.
Plz tell, what's apt. Lottery?
I like that view idk why but I enjoy cars driving by lol
Your home looks so realistic and amazing I love this apartment tour more than most of the others that I’ve seen thank you for posting and making this relatable’
Daaaaamn, I can’t even find a STUDIO for $800 in Austin, TX!! Absolutely fantastic abode!
vey cute! that's not a tea set - it's for sake! Enjoy!
I was looking for this comment ♡
You already hit the lottery finding that apartment for that price 🆒 everybody watching to see when you move so they can get that apartment 👀👁🙏🏾
I ain’t leaving 😂😂
Facts lol 😂
She should never ever leave lol but if she were to they’d surely raise the price.
It‘s really weird to read as an Austrian citizen. What you could get in Austria for that price!!!
I have no idea why I like these videos 😅 I live in the western part of the United States and have a 2bed 1bath for 575 a month but I just love these videos. Seeing how other people live their lives is interesting to me 😊
It’s interesting to me too!! We’re all secretly voyeurs 😂
Brooke Williams wow! 575$? That’s cheap! I live in the Bronx too, our rent is 2500$ for 2 beds and a bathroom 900sf
What state is this ?
@@rsvp89 kansas 🙂
Not even in my small country unless I live in the deep countryside great rent
Wow, you have a great sense of how to make the most of the space and make it look warm and friendly! And in New York for $800? Do not move unless the forcibly drag you out! That’s an outstanding little apartment!
You are so sweet. A realistic home tour. I am 71, we live near O'Hare. Our furniture is second hand or IKEA. Pictures of the kids or prints.
Proud of you. Tina
Your mini kitchen is great! It’s really looks comfy and has everything you need!
Thank you so much!! 💛
That's less than I pay for my studio in Seattle for the same square footage. That's incredible
What part of Seattle???
@@MandaDanda Queen Anne-- and this apartment is considered a steal
I hear ya, I lived acrossed from the Seatac airport in the early 80s and I thought 700 a month for a 1 bedroom was too much lol.
WOWZA...What awesome apartment you have for only $800 a month.... I would stay there till you decide to buy something..... Keep healthy and safe during this pandemic!!
Thank you so much! 💛
Love your space! Very cute!
I love your whole aesthetic! And your view is amazing
Hey, Home is where the heart is. Thanks for sharing a piece of your heart!!! P.S. Cool picture above the sofa!!!!
Thank you so much!! 💛💛
I love it! Is small but very cozy. I also live in the Bronx. Whoop whoop! ❤️😊
BX stand up!!
Your place is so beautiful. I love
The way u fix it.
Really cozy
Awwww thanks so much 💛💛💛
You are so down to earth and real. Love your humble abode. ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much!! 💛💛💛
You’ve got your place looking great ! Wonderful tour ! 🌟👍😁
This is such a great place for 800!! I live in Queens in a 1bd pay almost 1300 and live with my mom bc seriously its just way too much. The only way to save in this city is by sharin the apt. Right now im able to save thank God and my mom. Your place is great and looks like a safe neighborhood. 👌🏼
Thank you! Yes being able to afford to live on your own in NYC is a struggle
That's a really good price. And is big too. I'm from the bronx and I used to pay 2,800 for 1 bedroom. And I live in Arizona I have a 4 bedroom and 3 bath house for 1,500 ☺️
It’s crazy how much space you can get in other cities for less than what we pay here
arizona is a hot market, lol and hot place!
Ok I’m glad to see that affordable places exist... praying I find something within my budget when I move to the city (whenever that will be 🙁) everyone pray for me thanks
Praying for you sis 💛
Your apartment is so nice and cozy, you have it organized so well that it all looks seamless. I can't believe you carried that huge mirror up to your apartment by yourself that must have been hard. Love Love your apartment 😍😍😍
I love your place. The older you get, the more you realize that less is more. 💙
Manda, you have done a great job decorating your apartment. You are able to live with just a few items. I am more of a collector, so the space would be hard for me to manage. But your place would be like a large single dorm room in college - so in that way, you have a good size space. Nice video!
Thank you so much for watching ❤️
