I ended up getting Gebel's Glasses, Ambivalence, and Chisel Barrage in a run and it ended up being an 8 second Bael fight. She spawned on the cat head and simply perished.
That was indeed, very very fast. I've been playing through the vanilla game for the first time and I gotta say that Moon Belt feels great to backdash/crouch with, glad to hear that it is pretty optimal -

I sometimes feel like Iga makes these glitch looking softlocks on purpose to troll speedrunners. Especially since he was aware of speedrunners breaking SOTN.

ngl i just started the game 3 days ago and am about to 100% everything today, just wanted to say this video really made me want to try randomizer mode so much LOL any tips for a new randomizer run? keep up the quality vids!!
I've tried doing this randomizer some but just can't get into it. the movement and some of the combat in this game bugs me too much. still I was happy I was able to pull off the repeated back hopping for a little bit. couldn't do it as consistently as Jupiter though (and also was hurting my hand)
Tried bloodstained Randomizer, had to beat whole Minerva ship with just a kick. Chests kept giving me gold/materials, but no weapon or anything, and shard i had was yellow luck one.
Try putting the settings to "retain type" for shards and items. That will make sure weapons randomizes with other weapons, purple shards with purple shards, etc. It makes it infinitely more accessible

That said a few notes. 1:has ANYONE told you that Posion is kinda OP in Bloodstained yet?The second I saw you get Toxic Storm, I was sure you were gonna use it on atleast one of the Bosses*Even by Accident* and find out that IT WORKS ON THEM*save the twin dragons and The Invert Boss*. Then again, you had two great Purples but Using toxic Storm on Bael MIGHT of have netted you that one Cycle...assuming the Poison sticks*as I think bosses might also Share Miram's resistances to status effects if they aren't out right immune* 2:Oof,yeah, I feel ya when I see deep sinker. atleast you could Ingore it because you had everything for Go mode+Gebel Glasses+good offense 3: I need to test it against the cursed ring but I'm surprised you DIDN'T see the flame ring for sale in the shop. Then again, You ended up defaulting to Fald Ciu so I can understand not buy it for Menu time*which makes it one of the few time Shortcut might be handy* 4:Spiked breastplate is one of the hiddden Top tiers of armor in this game. Breaks candles, Gives some minor I-frames AND enemy knockback and does Chip damage. aside from maybe crafting the Aegis plate as a back up in case Bael gets into the lava phase,due to Aegis plate also blocking lava floor damage,I felt you were pretty set on armor barring a lucky Valkeriye or coronation dress find. EDIT: forgot to mention but... I'd might be the only one NOT to PB on this seed... as I would of have gone hunting for Double Jump/High Jump/Invert as going through the last two areas with DS is a pain.
Yeah short of just the right movement techs, a bit of INT boost to increase your damage, and a little more in the way of health instead of MP (which was meaningless here with the Gebel Glasses), there's no way to get this any faster. The right seed, with just the perfect, practically plando luck, could do it, but on a random setup seed this was basically perfect item and shard RNG to get you the sub 24. Well done. Maybe you get a sub 22 if the layout is stupid lucky, but naw. Take this and love it, hahaha.
Do you happen to know how you cancel out the dimension shift's animation? I've done it by accident a few times so I'm not sure if it's consistently doable or not

Probably why my life IRL is unlucky, but nearly every randomized run I do I end up picking up Gebel Glasses on the Minerva Galleon and its a GG run

This seed was so zippy that even I PB'd it. And I lost to Dom once or twice.
