- Negativity bias affects us all. During difficult times, we can start to view life - and people! - through a dark lens. But Jesus wants to heal our perspective and help us believe the best instead of expecting the worst.

I'm a pastor's wife and best-selling author, but I'm also a fellow-struggler. I understand the tug-of-war a lot of Christians feel - knowing what we ought to do but feeling powerless to do it. This RUclips channel is dedicated to giving you tools to draw close to Jesus so you can access the Holy Spirit's power to help you live a victorious Christian life.

Thank you for reminding me of that verse in the Amplified. I read that many years ago about believing the best and expecting the best in people and from God. It used to be my motto...expect the best and nothing less! Thank you for reminding me. God bless you! ❤
You are so welcome! I love that motto. Expect the best and nothing less. For God is with us - who can be against us?🙂
Truthful encouraging words! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching, my friend❤️
So worth the listen!! Thank you!
You're so welcome!❤️
Joanna, thank you. My husband has brain cancer and is going through radiaton and soon chemotherapy. It's been hard to keep up with so many things. Sometimes even keeping my Bible study habits have been hard to do consistently. Please pray for us. This is a hard season. (My husband and I both love Jesus.)
I will be praying for you guys. Grace grace to every place, Lord Jesus!
@@JoannaWeaver I love that! "Grace, grace to every place!" Thank you! 🙏💕
.." we need to know that someone believes the best in us - even though we can't quite believe it ourselves.." So true! that's also reminded me once again to let my brethren know the high regard in which I hold them....
Yes, amen!!
Oh…this is something I have been struggling with a lot lately! Where is this cynical, judgmental mindset coming from?? Good words. And I just borrowed “What if It’s Wonderful “ from the online library. Another book to check out -‘The Truth About Us” by Brant Hansen. One of 5he BEST books I have read in years!
I will definitely check out Hansen’s book! Thanks for sharing.
Having trouble loving and forgiving a narc DIL who discarded and rejected our kind empath son. He treated her like a queen. 2 young kids involved. So many emotionally abusive narcs in the world.
That is so hard. Praying for God’s strength and help to release it to Him.
Amen…thank you, so encouraging…all things work for the good! God bless He is working Amen in our hearts! A greeting from California be well….💐🙏🏼
Same to you! Thanks for watching 🙂
Very uplifting!!! Thanks so much!!!
You are so welcome!
