- This week we got the opportunity to test out the new 2025 Honda CRF450R at Ironman Raceway. Our first impressions of this bike come out on July 17th but in the mean time, you can hear from Hunter Lawrence as he spins his first laps on the new bike, alongside Chance Hymas!
Chance looks unbelievable! That kid is gonna be a beast on the 450 💪

Hunter is the Lawrence we all need. A little Dgaf.... a little business... a little construction worker mixed in with a lot of aussie Reed style Grit. Jett is just Jett the superfast kid who makes it look so easy. Hunter just bleeds hard work.

lol what could be harder to hold onto for 30+2 than a 450? I know! LET'S GIVE HIM A 500 2-SMOKE! 😆 (edit: yes, I'm traumatized by the CR500 my father decided I should race at the budd's creek regional; the hospital was nice though).

Ironman is such a awesome track and great viewing. Those Hondas are looking good. Love Hunters attitude can we get more like this at press conferences after races lol

Performance aside, I love the new shrouds. They look more like the 80's Hondas. Put a David Bailey Factory Honda graphics kit, gold rims, and blue seat on it...

Big hunter fan but they need a club level mx'er to review it. Hunter has his own custom bike with a team making refinements every race, this thing is made for the masses.

@3:13 Hunter is like, yea, "I like it. I think anyone that's going to race the bike doesn't race a stock bike. They're going to have this suspension, and all your stuff." Proceeds to strip it down the bike to the frame and then sprinkle $40K and more of magic fairy dust, titanium parts, top secret ECU's and top secret engine mods to make a race bike from scratch, minus the frame and plastics...

Bike looks more stable and consistent, Honda actually built off their last model and made good improvements for once

As an Aussie, I approve of Hunters level of F bomb's, thats the appropriate amount for just normal conversation. I would have liked a "C*#T's you should of seen" Or "C%*T this is a good bike" as a lead in to get the conversation started. Look he hasn't lived here for a bit so he gets a pass on that. Give him a bit of time though he'll get it back.🤣

Did they finally move those foot pegs back or at least make them adaptable for offset foot pegs
It looks improved but to get a fair evaluation of this bike I think a Vet that's intermediate to expert rider without anything to do with Honda would be fair
Keefer has already ridden both 2025 CRFs. i know he's posted some first impressions to YT. i haven't watched them though.

Yeah, one of the dudes that gets paid to ride the brand, is totally going to say something negative about it.....
Come on Honda. If you are going to introduce a new bike you need to rent the track so there is no other bike on the track making noise so you can hear what the riders are saying.
Honda did rent the track, you could hear Chance Hymas ripping around in the background.
Why didn't you put a mic on him? You can barely hear anything he's saying
it wasn't a interview. if it was, you would have heard the same generic hunter that he always gives for interviews. i liked this one looking over the shoulder while he spoke to someone else. much better chance of real insight/feedback, imo.
