You said that if you bought that Houston collection you were very confident you'd win back the money in rewards.. I would be quite interested to see you put this into practice. Similar to how you did the R2G on Sorare, i'd love to see you pick a team (or a couple of teams) buy the full collection now and see how much it returns you across the full season.
He has been building multiple collections, tracking their prices and winnings. Id be confident that is coming as content in the future
Messi 100 is going to be a phrase uttered a lot this year.
A system with tier shop cards would be great as a consolation prize when a certain team doesn't win anything. Imagine you play your limited all stars and you come out short of 10 points from a reward but you get a tier 1 skin or whatever. Or when you win something, get a start tier custom thing. And have a range from tier 5 (a sticker on the card) to tier 1 (a completely new design for a card) or something like that. That would be amazing.
Think about this, people that are into Fantasy Football before SoRare was a thing (so basically playing fpl for example) didn't ever gain anything. The only reason most of us were playing was bragging rights. That's why we need custom skins, for bragging rights. We finish above someone, they check leaderboards, they check our team - BOOM! Special, customized, first owner, cool card. I think they will honestly get there, that's why they added the "SoCoins" in the first place. It's still work in progress so let's give it some time, they are for sure going into the right direction.
Love the idea on skin unlocks after point accumulation. You content is one of the drivers that got me on Sorare. Keep up the content!
I personally think Fitness will be great in terms of adding depth to the game but also creating more competitive S05 competitions. People will be rewarded for having a large & diverse gallery and making educated decisions regarding lineups each and every week with players negatively affected by fitness leveling out the playing field. The people who are the most upset have 20-40 card galleries and spend mega dollars on the boring, best cards and then set and forget, never altering or planning their lineups/stratergies.
One of sorares biggest pulls is the fact you “own your game” collections let you do that you buy a player you have them there’s upside and downside there’s no upside your not owing anything with micro transactions
I dont care about people paying for fitness at all. For me fitness and xp are the same strength, but to get xp you have to play which loses fitness. Even just those being at odd is backwards to me. Also dont like the feeling that my best player is penalized for being used
Hey Nep, about the playing on the house thing. I've started Sorare in April with 250€ and now have a gallery value of over 1000€ without investing any more money into the game. Of course I could have withdrawn 250€ already in order to play on the house now, but since I'm pretty solid at the game and enjoy it a lot I decided to use that money in order to improve my gallery. So I don't see a lot of people actually playing on the house cause why would you stop a running system?
Random question guys as I'm new to the game, But if I know the few Limited cards id like for the new season should I be buying them now or at the start of the new season/when the new versions are minted?
If your building a collection I would snipe the cheapest cards off the auction to lock in the collection bonus then wait for new season cards to be listed to get last seasons more expensive ones cheaper and at a higher card %. If that makes any sense 😅
If just buying single cards then you are going to be paying less if you buy now but have to be prepared for the loss of the 5% bonus in a few weeks and the fact that it is now harder to grow your xp from low levels.
Probably best to buy cards of the secondary market with a higher % 😂
If you just want cards from random teams just buy the cheapest now. If you want to build a collection I'd wait for the new season cards because your stack percentage will be very high
Does anyone know if there will be 23/24 championship cards minted soon, and if so when? (Southampton, Leeds, Leicester etc)
that teams that go down to the championship are licensed so , yes it wil be new cards

Fully agree on the cosmetics side that needs to be pushed and hope Sorare gamify the game in that way without continuously impacting SO5 scores with new bonuses. That way users can choose to participate in it or not without any downside.
However enjoying certain bonuses that make sense in a fantasy football game where you are pushed to becoming an „owner“ of your own team while not enjoying other bonuses because they cross the line in taking us too far away from on-pitch performances doesnt make you a hypocrite.
Otherwise you are now putting yourself into a spot where Sorare could continuously come up with new bonuses and youd have to agree with them all or you are being hypocritical too. Dont think thats how you would act if we all of a sudden had bonuses going up to 50%.
On your point on that, the player playing champs league qualifiers against a mino team having his 100 points being worth less than messi’s 100 against a tougher team being worth more because the mino guy played a worse team would be silly! He isn’t as good as messi so would have to put in more effort to get that 100 points than Messi would! If we went down this road we would weekly need to quantify who’s the better player so we could establish who’s points were worth more!
I love playing Sorare. However I feel like all these new bonuses and fitness bulls*t is imo really hurting the game as it should be rewarded according to real life player performances. We don't want a fifa 2.0 we want Sorare as it was before the World Cup. Feels like major impact decissions are being made every 3/4 months. You just cannot plan ahead with a game like this. Again love the game, but I want more stabillity

I like the idea of "skins" for cards either to be purchased or earned for sure.
12 months is too long, overpowered. Now very small % get 12 months. Maybe compromise could be bonus that fades away over time not sure.
Totally agree with you nep that micro transactions would be huge but the majority of this user base just isn't interested. They don't see that sorare could take huge chunks of market share from both fifa and fpl if marketed properly. I'm not saying the fitness aspect is perfect but the continued crying about it blows my mind. For me there's much more worrying things 😅😂
Sorare needs nft's, gaming overall needs them. Without it, you are just wasting time and when you're game is finished, you're left with nothing, only hours and money spent without any reward.

Gil is more worth than a car that people drive like every day, and its just one of his cards, and he is sitting here and complaining and stuff abouth its scary to use some players becouse hes player has 9%, somebody has maybe 11% on him. People who are watching this have a max 50$ collection litterally, and he is flexing like its some fifa player. Omg wake up, go utside, get some sun mate
