i mean slaughter to prevail said something under the video if they could use it for their album... i dont know more cause i dont listen to that kind of metal... but they said something there, or at least alex did
I played a show with Eddie last year. He was so cool. Treated us like we were friends. Suicide Silence are some of the good ones. Hanging out with Mark is next level entertainment, he's hilarious and down to earth.
Eddie has always been one if my favorite vocalists. Still listen to all shall perish on the regular and newer suicide silence. I think he gets over looked and deserves more credit
Goddamn, Eddie's vocals are fuckin goated. No one can ever replace Mitch Lucker, but Eddie does a damn good job. Wish Mitch was alive to contribute to this as well. RIP MITCH. This shreds in ultimate Suicide Silence fashion.
Nik is reaching another level with those "how to sound like" videos, each new video is an improvement of the last one, holy shit my dude, keep on going!
Ooooooo yessssss!!!!! I was waiting, hoping for u to do a full version and u did it. I am so excited! It is so sic and such a ripper. Happily going on the Playlist. Thank u guys! 💓 🤘🔥
I do believe that is the twitch/RUclips version of you definitely made it bro I love your channel and I'm glad that these artists see how talented you really are
That is so true, life is what it is and you can only do the best with the cards you get so don’t fold, because sometimes you might win. Looking big also, keep it up 👍🏻
This series is a really great model for what I hope will be an emerging era of "open source" music where artists are able to share their songs/works/riffs/etc freely, and other musicians all over the world can add to it and expand upon it however they want, and the system it all runs on ensures everyone gets paid for their input and creations being used. I think its doable with the right people doing projects like this for hype alongside the right metalhead/programmers who could build such a thing. I live under a rock in the sky at the bottom of the sea deep in outer space, so I know no one. I'm sure Nik does, though. Do it!
No pressure but with the way things are going, I’m wouldn’t be surprised to see a “how to write a ____ song played live with the band” in the future. Nik has come insanely far and it’s awesome to see
bro your vocals were actually fire af i would have worked with just you doing them barring some super brutal lows idk if you could reach all in all i would have loved to hear your take vocally
I love that the bands want to be involved, I really do. But I love the idea of a different vocalist covering it. Dicky doing the how to Lorna Shore was incredible. I forgot who did the Gojira one but it was 🔥. The Slaughter to Prevail song just ended up being another Slaughter song, which isn't a bad thing but it doesn't have the cover vibe. The idea of writing a cover for a band using a song that doesn't exist yet is a sick and amazing concept. I love it. Keep it up.
Yeah iono, cats kinda out of the bag at this point but it would've been neat to get these guys involved but have them be part of a different bands song. At the same time in Nik's position I'd be all about this life. Its gotta be so amazing to start a lil youtube clip thing and have it turn into this.
Fair. But having Dickie on that track didn't make it sound like a Lorna Shore song. It just sounded like Infant Annihilator. And that's kind of the point. It's cool that these vocalists sound kind of like the person they're 'impersonating', but when they're also pretty distinct, it doesn't really work. The best one he's done in that style was Chad (For the Fallen Dreams) because Chad falls right in between Howard and Jesse. Dickie is Dickie, and doesn't really sound anything like Will or CJ. You know what I mean? Like, the Linkin Park one had to be the way it was because Chester is gone, but he also used vocalists that aren't super well known. Taylor Barber's track was another great one, but also because they weren't trying to sound like anyone else. If Nik just did 'how to melodic deathcore', the Dickie Allen feature would have been more relevant. Here's a great example of my issue with this: Orbit Culture. Tons of fans love Niklas' cleans and the incredible range he has, but some people shit on it because they think they just sound like a heavier Metallica. But really, that's just what his clean singing naturally sounds like. If he were to try and change it, it would affect his screams, and could damage his vocal chords. So getting Dickie in to sing 'a Lorna Shore song' naturally just sounds like IA, because Dickie knows better than to risk damaging his vocal chords. It's just a stupid decision.
Soon all the major bands will apply to Nik and ask him to please write a song for them and I'm not even kidding 😂 1 million subs and phenomenal content will do that for you.
I have no fucking clue how Nick does this with this much ease😂 ... dude literally creates better bangers for fun, than a lot of bands cant do in a filled up studio with months of rehearsals 😂
eddie is a beast jesus christ, sick job on the song thank god you arent using that machine gun drum vst anymore even if your velocity is still 900 on every single hit lol
Wow, the bands themselves are joining in now. Nik made it y'all.
First Alex Terrible for the Slaughter To Prevail song and now Suicide Silence themselves for the Suicide Silence song
@@just._joey._music The man has become unstoppable!
@@LaughingGhastly yea
Yep, pack up your bags were done here😂 he made it. Lol jk dude. I'm glad we can get someone that plays this music to represent. I'm here for it 🤘
Not to mention he's in a band with Andy Cizek and Chris Turner... guys a pro
Crazy to have a "knock off" song with the actual vocalist, really come a long way.
Soon we will have bands doing how to Nik Nocturnal in 30 seconds . I’m here for it
I've got $20 that Electric Callboy does it first.
@@jaredfarney675 electric call boy , how to Nik nocturnal in 30 seconds with Nik nocturnal on guitar haha 😂
For sure gonna be @ElectricCallboy
And then Slaughter to Prevail
i mean slaughter to prevail said something under the video if they could use it for their album... i dont know more cause i dont listen to that kind of metal... but they said something there, or at least alex did
One of these days Nik is going to write a song and the band's just gonna completely adopt it into their repertoire.
I was under the impression that the one he did with Alex Terrible was going to be a b-side / bonus track on their next release 🤔
Basically the same thing as a feature or guest producer etc.
Can you do "How to Children of Bodom in 30sec"
@@callsignrambo5109 Me? I don't think so.
Sabaton did it soooo
Nik is the guitarist for every band now
Producer
Chugs everywhere!
I played a show with Eddie last year. He was so cool. Treated us like we were friends. Suicide Silence are some of the good ones. Hanging out with Mark is next level entertainment, he's hilarious and down to earth.
He signed my guitar and gave me a pick. He almost gave me his strap too but it was all packed up. Stand up guy
eddie is the best man
@@tfwnoyandere met Eddie also, bro was cool as hell. These guys act like regular guys in person an I love that
I think now we need to hear a "how to Whitechapel"
yeah was thinking the same thing
Yes
Oh fkn yes. Honor the fkn Saw
That would be awesome. Phil could do it too, i think they're recording their next album.
Hell yeah, some love for us East Tennesseeans
This is so sick. Eddie forever has some of the most crisp ear piercing highs ❤️
This has singlehandedly made me wanna listen to more eddie songs, he sounds so good in this
Eddie has always been one if my favorite vocalists. Still listen to all shall perish on the regular and newer suicide silence. I think he gets over looked and deserves more credit
The Price of Existence still for me is the Epitome of Death Metal/ Core and Eddie fucking destroys.
Legitimately sounds like an unrealsed song from The Cleansing. Great job Nik!
This might be the best track you've put out all year, and holy Eddie brought the demons out for this one.
Those highs.. had me do a double take... dude I thought it was Mitch for a moment. 😮😮
This is starting to look like a great way for bands to get free advertising. They'll start lining up to do a cover with you.
this instantly is an old school, cleansing era suicide silcence banger, eddie sounds fucking amazing. amazing job dude!
Goddamn, Eddie's vocals are fuckin goated. No one can ever replace Mitch Lucker, but Eddie does a damn good job. Wish Mitch was alive to contribute to this as well. RIP MITCH. This shreds in ultimate Suicide Silence fashion.

Mitch would be proud! 🥰
Im so glad you did this! Especially with Suicide Silence! My favorite band ever! 🤘🤘
I absolutely want to know when the full band covers one of your songs in their style live at a concert. Someone please let me know when.
Nik honestly has some damn good vocals!
Such a banger, and so cool Eddie did vocals for it too!
Pretty cool that you got Eddie from Suicide Silence to do vocals on this song!🤘🏼
Am i the only one who would love it if Nick would make a amon amarth track?
yes
yes you are
That’d be interesting, I’d like to hear one be made
Right!
That would be great
I want a version with Nik's vocals PLEASE
This is one of the sickest ones, heavy riffs and clever drum programming man. And obviously the vocals are dope!
Okay, now time to “how to Angelmaker” so you can have 2 vocalists :)
Ooooooo yessssss!!!!! I was waiting, hoping for u to do a full version and u did it. I am so excited! It is so sic and such a ripper. Happily going on the Playlist. Thank u guys! 💓 🤘🔥
This is literally the best SS song they never created...nice job Nik 👏
Nik, this goes HARD AF. 🔥
This ranks #2 below "Devour" for me. Thats my daily banger
Man it’s so cool that Nik is becoming THE MUST HAVE FEATURE to have!!
I wonder if some bands already reached out to Nik to ask him to straight up ghostwrite a song for them. 🤔
great video as always 😊
the amount of collabs and with who nik has had now is awesome
I really want you to do one of these on Coheed and Cambria, Children of Bodom or Dethklok
Yeah, gonna need one for Children of Bodom ASAP.
Nice taste bro. I like all 3 of them and I hope he makes a song those bands.
I love the variety you have for all these tbh. I doubt Solence will ever be on your radar, but I think your take on them would be insane.
Love this series. Sick you can get these artists on these tracks!
You NAILED the drum patterns on the kick-blasts. Well played.
I do believe that is the twitch/RUclips version of you definitely made it bro I love your channel and I'm glad that these artists see how talented you really are
Nik is very good at making these how to series songs, they all sound awesome 👍
That’s insane that you got the band involved?! No way, big ups to Nik and his massively growing channel ❤
wow, one of my favorite youtubers and one of my favorite band colllabing really made my day better
I feel like Nik is forming a super robot fighting metal Kaiju with all the collabs lately 🤘 I love it 🦀
That is so true, life is what it is and you can only do the best with the cards you get so don’t fold, because sometimes you might win. Looking big also, keep it up 👍🏻
Nik, no one is complaining about this series of videos. You're killing it.
Nik ur killing it lately!
That project exploded! I'm always amazed how those TOP TEAR musicians collab with Nik. Awesome
I don't think Eddie's ever sounded better, he's always been goated but holy shit

Nik I'm so fuckin proud of you dude. You've come so far. Amazing.
Eddie killed it
Love this series! How about a "How to motionless in white"?
Keep up the good work!
Omg that’s a banger 🔥🔥🔥
Oldschool vibes from The Cleansing 🖤
Instantly clicked on the video as soon as i saw it and knew its a banger

This is just a Suicide Silence song feat. Nik Nocturnal
this through me back to my crab core play list for sure!!
Sick song! Man you're killing it bro. What about a, The Browning song?!?
Omg dude the final breakdown gave me full body tingles.
Moving up in this world !! So bad ass to get the bands involved !
Raised the bar on this one Nik. Can’t stop listening even though my neck is killing me.
7:51 that bass
Massive,Epic, Brutal, and amazing at same time
This is fucking awesome man 🤘. Gotta listen to more suicide silence obviously!
Why do Eddie’s vocals always sound so much better when he records with anyone other than his own band
Nik is now living the metalhead's dream life. We are proud of you Nik !!
From less than 10k to 1mil
I’ve seen many eras on the channel. This is by far the best
Yeesss 🤘🤘🤘
Phenomenal as always
Dude these are so awesome!
Had to miss the stream for this one but it turned out pretty damn good
Man I wanna see you do this with Periphery
Honestly Nik, you've come some distance in the last few years. Your hard work and dedication is totally paying off.

This is one of the best suicide silence songs with Eddies vocals😍
This one is by far the heaviest song, cab you do Kublai Khan TX next it would be fucking killer man, thanks!
Please make a “How To Korn” with the singer of Chaoseum
GAAWD DAYIM F*CKING YEEEEES !!! ❤❤❤
Or How to Asking Alexandria Song (metalcore style with Gabriel Scaldaferri)
This sounds amazing, now imagine another song with Mitch in it ❤
Mitch is dead

Ngl you’re screams at the start of the vid we’re on point
Awesome Nik....🤘🏼😈🤘🏼
Dun duns are our buntas…you’ll get it. Eddie sounded great and you killed it as always.
Who did the vocals on the 30 second version? That was you Nick, you're getting better man!
Yep, that was our boy
One day Nick is just gonna drop an album with 12 featured bands doing soundalikes. And it’ll be great.
Eddie’s highs are like banshee screams. Amazing
Waiting for a how to Infant Annihilator in 30s
It gonna be a bit considering how technical they get but I think Nik can handle it
Naah, that's out of Nik's zone 😂
LEGEND STATUS! I can't imagine
me sitting here thinking how tf i got the drumstick they threw out at LTL23 in september, now hearing nik make a song with them, OH WOO!
eddie is a beast jesus christ, sick job on the song thank god you arent using that machine gun drum vst anymore even if your velocity is still 900 on every single hit lol

The evolution of Nik's content has a positive linear relationship with how much more his fans want 😂😂
