#RamKund is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites of the country, and attracts a large number of visitors, especially during the time periods related to the #KumbhMela. This year, during the #MahaKumbh2025, the area will potentially see the highest amount of visitors it has ever seen. It is believed that this tank of water, and offshoot of the sacred #Godavari river, was made holy by the bathing of Lord #Ram during the 14 year exile imposed upon him, Goddess #Sita and #Laxman.
