I think that’s incorrect. Target blocks have something like a 1in4% chance to spawn as a redstone component for the ancient city’s redstone puzzle at the centre of the city, under the huge “portal frame” (Though it isn’t a portal)

1:00 It's definitely either the diamond block or Redstone comparator... the pot can spawn in desert villages, the spong in underwater temples, the skull, Redstone lantern, target block, and sticky piston can spawn in the deep dark... rooted dirt will spawn under... uhh.. I forgot the name but it's the blooming kinda tree, lol... spruce signs spawn in spruce villages, iron bars spawn in those dungeons under some igloos, string spawns in jungle temples (with sticky pistons), and finally I'm pretty sure Redstone comparators also spawn in ancient cities... just because I've never seen a natural diamond block, I've seen naturally spawning raw iron/gold ore, but never diamond... and NOW I'm realizing I'm just being a jerk by ruining the... you know what, never mind. I have no idea why I see it wrong, but that reminds me of the fact that I see the old player texture differently in cases where it is used as a normal player skin or human texture and when it is used as the Herobrine texture, although humans apparently don't notice the difference (two pixels are blue in the former case and white in the latter one).

I am very much aware that these blocks appear in different places too, but those were just the first place I could think of. Also, I noticed the sponge depicted is a _dry_ sponge, not a _wet_ one, therefore making it "impossible" to spawn naturally. But here's the thing. There are many instances of ocean monuments glitching and spawning partially or completely on land, resulting in the sponges never becoming wet. Wow you actually read this wall of text, here's a cookie for your troubles. (below so those who didn't read this paragraph explanation don't see the (otherwise colorful cookie compared to the black-and-white page) and steal it.

You can found diamond block in veeeery rare room in woodland mansion that look like big beacon made of obsidian and lava and inside is full diamond block and skeleton skull impossible to obtain in any other way that explode the skeleton with the help of a charged creeper (btw you can found this room in Yt but it is quite difficult because few people know about it)
