Flash pins or not, if you stop Levan, it's very very hard to keep your riser and wrist, so you have to defend second surge near the pad without your wrist, which is harder task than defending his start. Good example is first two rounds againts Ermes. Also talking about endurace, Levan will be like 15kg lighter and ambient temperature also will be significantly lower this time, so he will have more endurance for sure. Ermes match was very important for him, he was getting too lazy and confident and the match showed everyone including Levan, that he is not invincible. He was lucky to win despite being in bad shape and i think that lesson maked him better, he was in unbelievable shape after that until he got injured.
Devon has a stronger wrist and rise than Ermes for sure but also a weaker bicep. If he manages to get a stop it will become very interesting. In a stopped match I do believe that he can out armwrestle Levan due to his vast experience and better endurance
Well Devon is also way better than Ermes in that stopped position. Way more hand, rise and pronation.
@@cC_97_CcI don’t think Devon’s bicep on the table isn’t any weaker. Gym lifts are one thing, applying backpressure with pronation on the table against your opponent is different. I think Devon has more of that total package hand/wrist/backpressure

These Devon fanboys fail to realize that even if Levan doesnt pin Devon in a single surge, he would get in a winning position, climb on Devons hand and just surge a second time to finish the match. Ermes, who stopped Levan MUCH better and closer to Center than Devon, could NOT withstand a second surge after Levan readjusted and climbed on Ermes hand. Levan Will either flashpin Devon or he Will get stopped near the pad and Will have to climb AND surge a second time to finish the rounds. 4-0 for Levan.

@@cC_97_Cc as u may know, Levan stood up and tried to press Ermes. Ermes immediately came forward with the shoulder to stop his move. Maybe Devon will have to do that aswell

James is very rational and well spoken. I agree 1000%. Also injuries happen for many reasons. Sometimes we see the guy winning get injured.
I think everything is dependent upon round 1. If there's a fast setup, no slip, no foul(s), and Levan gets out ahead of him with an unexpectedly fast pin - it's over. Devon wont have the time to build up that fatigue in Levan. If that first round takes a long time to get to the Go and the hand stops above the pad for more than a count of 2, it's Devon's match after that.
Last time I was saying everyone was on copium thinking Devon can win even tho Devon is by far my favorite. This time it’s much more realistic.
Last time I said he was less than 1% to win. This time Devon is probably closer to 25%. I can’t favor anyone vs Levan.
Man I remember as a kid watching over the top and being hooked. Then several decades later I saw pulling John randomly one day on Netflix and from that point on my RUclips journey started and been a fan ever since.

We are waiting eagerly. We love to see Devan winning. But Levan is so big and strong! Levan has learnt his weakness side from the Earness fight. So I think he has made it right now. My mind says Levan, but my heart for Devon.
All I know is I’m more excited about watching it and want to pay for it then I was six months ago. Just because I believe Devon does not want to get embarrassed he’s not doing it for the money. He truly believes he can win.

People think that the venue and rule change from KOTT to EvsW is worse for Devon but it's actually better! The Devon that slipped from Ermes to fatigue his hand can intentionally slip from Levan in terms of arm power. The advantage comes, if devon can be strong enough, with the setups and restarts etc.

Lol. First try to search why bicep can tear. There are many reasons and most likely it wasn't only because of strength gap but because of other factors as overtraining, wrong peds or amount etc.
Also he said fist time for levan he did 50 reps sets for endurance, nothing for strength. Now Devon for nearly 2 years trains for strengh, 1 rep sets. In 2 years with peds and never had a workout for pure strength, the strengh level can skyrocket.
So it will not be the same like last time, not even close

Levan has been flying under the radar for weeks, barely posting anything. I get the feeling he has a surprise up his sleeve, and I think he'll come out much stronger while everyone's underestimating him. Levan's no fool, he knows how strong Devon will be. I just hope his low activity online isn't due to some kind of injury.

@@PurpleNightmare52 Devon's biceps are probably one of the weakest out of all the top level armwrestlers, so if he completely loses his hand and is supinated -> placing a lot of stress on his biceps that aren't used to doing heavy azz curls, maybe he really is more vulnerably to bicep tears if he loses his pronation completely.
@@Hiccupocalypse heavy ass curls? Devon has spent nearly the last two years doing incredibly heavy lifting all day long every day in the most critical positions of vulnerability for arm wrestling. It’s not like he frequently tears his biceps or something-a tear can simply occur because tissues aren’t pliable enough at a moment of rapid contraction. You can tear a muscle during a warmup.
@@PurpleNightmare52 I'm talking about traditional curls with the range of motion all the top armwrestlers do. Not armwrestling specific movements where we all know he can go heavy.
You will never see Devon do these curls because he does static lifts with micro movements and never takes the brunt of it directly on his biceps.
One of Larry's older vids when Devon was there in dubai and a bunch of them were doing strict bicep curls, I forget how much Devon did but he did the least out of all the guys there. He himself has mentioned he isn't the strongest when it comes to these kinds of lifts and most of these top guys can outlift him.
@@Hiccupocalypse traditional curls don’t mean remotely as much for arm wrestling as you seem to think-I assure you. Training heavy full range of motion curls can lead to your arm blowing up and you gassing out during a supermatch. They don’t have remotely the carry-over you assume they do.

My opinion is n a hypothetical world if Devon’s bicep didn’t tear and maybe he waited until round 3-4 to go “all in” open toproll, Levan probably still would have won but it would have been much much harder. Would have looked different.

I would love for Devon to win, I really do cause I love the guy and the way he acts on stage but honestly Levan is a f*cking beast, a real life hulk. I would be surprised if Devon could pin him even once but I hope he willl xD.
