I sell to a natural pork company. I fed 500# of your homestead starter pellets to some younger pigs, I figured I would try it myself so I sampled it. Initially sweet, but it left a lingering bitter aftertaste. Feed intake was increased when I switched to ground corn/Kent np mixer, which oddly enough has no/very little bitter aftertaste. Fed 1 ton of NP mixer (2 ton mix) so far on this batch. I'm curious to know what the difference was. Wouldn't mind using your product if the pigs found it more palatable.

At least, they're not bashing poorly piglets' heads against the floor. And the spaces are nice and clean. It is possible to raise pigs humanely. Yes, it takes work, but it can be done.
There's no humane way to take life, when we don't need to.

Depends on the pig, they generally reach 120 kgs in 170-180 days

That's tail clipping. Done to prevent other pigs from biting it. I personally don't recommend it though
Yes prevent cannibalism
Give them bedding to chew on and greater space/pig and tail biting is a rare occurrence. It's necessary in confinement.
@@ShermanT.Potter Also, spaces can be more enriched as piglets are very curious. Sometimes tail-biting is out of boredom.
Ventilation issues can also result in tail biting, and it quickly spreads if one starts, others do it as well.
