I'm glad the you got Butch to mention his love and proficiency at golf. Great guy who was a hero to me as a young boy growing up in Massachusetts. In the 1960's and early 70's Super Stock and Pro Stock was huge and those classes remain my favorite in NHRA Drag Racing. Was so cool seeing Ronnie Sox, Bill Jenkins, Butch Leal and Dyno Don Nicholson at Wednesday night match races at New England Dragway during that period. Watching the gold dust procedure on the start line with their dry hops was captivating. Those shows remain some of the best I've seen in my 65 years as a drag racing fan. Appreciate your interview with this living legend.
Hello Todd, thank you sir for that. I really appreciate that compliment. It was definitely one of my better interviews that’s only about the 6 th one just trying to get the facts and some of the secrets thanks for being on my RUclips channel. Thank you.👍😎
Hello yes sir I had a few day getting interviews with these vintage drag racers it was an awesome time. Glad I could get it to you guys. Thanks for your continuing support. 😎✌️
Hello Darren, well I’m glad you’re enjoying them cause I enjoy getting them. Let me tell you. I set a new light on muscle car and Corvette nationals this year. I’m a big drag racing guys. I wanted to bring that upfront Center. I saw these guys run back in the day and for me to get a chance to interview them and spend time with them as priceless. These are their heroes NHRA and drag racing a true living legend California flash 😎🤘
Your MCACN interviews are top-notch! Your interview style is great. These legends really know how to tell a story. My dad had a subscription to Popular Hot Rodding when I was about 6 years old. I remember seeing Butch's Duster doing a wheelstand on one of the pin-up pages. The California Flash name really struck me as cool. Now, all of these the years later I have a Hemi Duster of my own. Keep up the good work. Your content rocks!
Back in the mid 1990's I was at Mission speedway at a PRO MODIFIED event and this Ol'e hound dog was there ! I am a big fan of Butch and knew of his racing achievements, opon meeting Butch he was amazed on how much I knew about his racing career ! what an incredible human ! Oh ya his ride was a blowen Alcohol Chev P/U, Butch Qualified mid field @ 6.55 dam good for a elderly legend !
Hello Richard, yes Butch is one smart man. He knows how to shave the weight off of that car in more ways than thought, need to hear some of the secrets of the man thank you for your comments of being on my RUclips channel. Thank you.👍✌️
